Family 3 night Trip

Great view of the river. Older home with some remodeling done. House could have used some deep cleaning. Sofas smelled and dirty. Base boards needed cleaning. Air fryer and coffee pot were dirty. Had a hard time with the stove top knobs. They were a safety concern because they were not aligned with the temperature settings. We spent alot of time trying to cook and find the correct temperature. Could not get hot water from master bath, yet there was hot water from the master bathroom sink. I'm not a plumber but feel the slide valve in the shower facet is not working properly to allow hot water out.Entrance to house was not appealing. Mop, broom, and cleaning items were stored in plain view by front door.Also storage of pipes and building supplies stored between both building was an eye sore. Chairs on deck had alot of bird poop. top knbs

Good for family fun

Property was great. It’s close to where the Llano meets the lake so the water level isn’t too low but there are sandbars so you can put chairs in the water. The detached game room is perfect for having fun at night without waking the sleeping babies.

Very Nice House and Location

We stayed at the house to catch the eclipse and there were five of us. Between the three bedrooms and the large living area, there was plenty of space for everyone. We really enjoyed the location, especially being right next to the river. The comfort of the beds will be based on personal preference as I prefer a spring mattress and I think the bed in the master bedroom felt more like memory foam. There were a lot of sitting areas both inside and out and it was very easy to find your own favorite spot. Overall, I would say that the house and especially the location were great. Wish we lived closer so we could stay there again!

Cute home and thoughtfully stocked

This was a nice home with a lot of character. Even with upgrades you can see several generations in the house, which only adds to its charm. Home was clean, AC worked well, nice calm River front, very peaceful location. You can tell this is family friendly — there are plenty of things for kids to play with and water floats and toys. The water is shallow and calm, so also great for kids. The play house/game room is a wonderful addition. Ping pong, (soft) darts, game systems, board games — there’s plenty to keep kids entertained. If all else fails there is also strong Wifi. I very much appreciated that the owners stock the home with plenty of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry supplies, garbage bags, paper and plasticware on top of dishes and kitchenware. It’s a nice refreshing change from other VRBO rentals where you arrive and have exactly 3 squares of toilet paper and one trash bag to use before you need to go buy more at the store. Having everything stocked made it much more chill and relaxing overall. Great experience!

Perfect family gathering

Pictures do not do justice for this house. Great location, short walk to a private beach area. It is perfect for the little ones for play in the water, not too deep, not to shallow. Of the houses we've stayed at, so far this one is definitely a favorite. Will absolutely be looking to staying at this house again

Another great trip in the books. We visit this area yearly and this is the 2nd year in a row for us at this property. No major issues, other than some housekeeping concerns upon arrival however we were able to take care of those easily enough. Location is great for those with smaller children due to the large shallower water areas 1'-3', yet still deep enough for us to get our jet skis in and out easily.

Awesome location on the Llano River

This is our 3rd stay at this rental and we will be back! The only reason I did not give a 5 star for cleanliness is because the porch, which is our favorite place to hang out, had cobwebs and lots of dead leaves. Also, the porch fans stopped working.

Great family lake house

We stayed over during Thanksgiving with my kids and parents - even though it was cold and we couldn’t really venture into the lake, the views were stunning, the house was fully stocked with every kitchen item we needed (even a rolling pin for a pie I made!) and there were endless toys and games. Can’t wait to come back again!

Wonderful!

This was our 3rd year spending time at the Sager lakehouse in late July and we’ve had 3 wonderful trips. The owners are thoughtful, communicative and kind. We love this house. From breakfast on the deck to s’mores on the fire, we want for nothing when we’re here. Our 5yr old loves the bunk beds, the kitchen has every item one could need, the kayaks are awesome, the living room is great for movies and the list goes on. From board games with our kiddo in the morning to late night ping pong matches when she’s fast asleep (it’s a separate dwelling so she can’t hear me celebrate all my victories yet I can hear her on the monitor. Win/win!), the game room kept us busy at all hours! We love that there’s a little private beach just for us, we’re a quick drive to groceries and all restaurants yet we feel so far away! We drove back to the lakehouse from town at about 10 miles an hour one evening and saw about 50 deer! It was a truly relaxing getaway that we so look forward to every year. The owners have thought of everything and we are so very grateful. We can’t wait to go back!

Cozy waterside property

We had a great time enjoying the water views, kayaking, and watching the wildlife. The water outside the cabin is pretty shallow (2 feet or less) which kept boat and jet ski traffic light. The cabin was well equipped and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. Local restaurants were nice and the drive over to Marble Falls is easy. Great stay overall!

Did not Disappoint

We lacked for nothing. Home was spacious and perfect for a family with children of any age. We had all we needed and then some. Perfectly located on the water for playing in the water for children/adults as well as pulling up jet skis for later playtime. Beds were comfy and I especially loved the back porch and separate game room. We will be back!! Thankyou, to the owners who was extremely kind and helpful when we had questions.

Great end of summer stay.

Great stay. House was perfect set up for our family. We are very familiar with this part of the lake so it was perfect for us as we only were using jet skis. Back yard is beautiful and views/sunsets are amazing. Kitchen was stocked and TV access to streaming was nice and we watched multiple movies. Kids loved game room/ping pong table. Will be renting again next summer for sure.

Breathtaking location

We had such a great stay at this gem of a property! This section of the lake is very shallow- which was great for the little kids to splash around in while parents relaxed on the beach. There was also very little traffic on the lake, and it was so nice to be able to look out across the water to wilderness, not houses, on the opposite side of the lake. The house is very clean and well- maintained, with top notch appliances. The older kids loved the well-stocked game room and had so much fun playing ping pong. This was the perfect property for our family getaway, and the hosts could not have been more kind or accommodating.

Another wonderful stay

We rented the Sager Lake house last summer and it really was everything we were looking and hoping for so we decided to rent it again! Once again, the home did not disappoint- the owner has thought of everything. There’s a little beach at the end of the property and we had the whole place to ourselves. We borrowed the kayaks, made s’mores on the fire, our 4yr old played with ALL the toys and my husband and I enjoyed ping pong in the game room after kiddo bedtime. This home is well stocked with anything you could possibly need, the owner is communicative & the location can’t be beat- even the neighbours are incredibly kind and welcoming. We loved the upgrades, especially in the living room with awesome couches and a big flat screen equipped with streaming services- made for a fun family movie night. We spent our days down at the beach/water area and enjoyed everything the home had to offer- a truly wonderful and relaxing vacation. We can’t wait to go back next year!

quiet river place

Such a lovely and quite spot on the Llano with a large yard and modern accommodations for family. This spot on the river is shallow enough to sit in some spots and just float in others. No big motor boats or jet skis causing a lot of wakes like on LBJ. The house has more than what you need to cook but not far from some quaint places to pick up food or coffee. Steve was very responsive and we felt right at home.
