This home is surrounded by playgrounds, parks, trails and beaches including Long Lake Provincial Park, Frog Pond Park and Chocolate Lake Park & Beach. This home is minutes from the Armdale Yatch Club, Ashburn Golf Club, Pharmacies, Medical and Dental Clinics. 9 minutes to Bayers Lake; 11 minutes to Downtown Halifax, and minutes to all the major Highway systems. This is the perfect home for anyone looking!

Halifax Vacation

The owner Chris was very proactive and highly responsive, always willing to assist. He even showed us areas to do groceries at a good rate. The location is very good for a good family vacation. Hope to come back when the opportunity comes up. Keep up the good work and I highly recommend the place to other travellers to Halifax.

Rest and Family Visit

17 Lovell Lane was a very comfortable and central location for our 3 week stay to take a relaxing break and visit family. The 5 minute walk to essential shopping was a real treat and our dog loved walking in the friendly neighbourhood. Our hosts took excellent care of us and the home was very well equipped. For a long stay, more comfortable furniture in the living room would be helpful. Thanks again Chris and Anne!

Nice family rental.

Great location. Not a fancy neighborhood but we felt safe and check in was easy. House was much better than a hotel stay. Upstairs was perfect - downstairs had a few minor details needing repairs but nothing we couldn’t live with. The host was quick to reply to emails. We were short on supplies and they were brought to the house by the next day. Overall enjoyed our stay - with a little TLC and upkeep to yard and basement bedroom areas it would be a perfect family rental for any Halifax area tourist.

We were comfortable there. Just one bed’s bedding didn’t smell clean so we washed them with the washer and dryer in the house. If you like luxury this isn’t it. No luxury linen’s. but we were all comfortable. I brought my own foam mattress to put on the master room bed just in case, I’m glad I did. The bed was a bit hard.

Bon séjour à Halifax

La maison était très spacieuse et propre. À notre arrivée des chocolats nous attendaient sur nos lits. Les enfants ont bien apprécié cette petite attention. La cuisine dispose de l'équipement de base pour vous faire à manger pendant votre séjour. La communication avec Anne a été très bonne tout au long du processus. Elle était proactive. Nous avons aussi apprécié son honnêteté : le barbecue a brisé une dizaine de jours avant notre arrivée. Comme elle n'était pas en mesure de le remplacer avant notre arrivée, elle nous a tout de suite prévenus et nous a même offert d'annuler notre réservation si c'était un élément essentiel pour nous. La maison se trouve à Spryfield où vous trouverez tous les commerces de proximité (épicerie, pharmacie, etc). En une quinzaine de minutes vous serez à Halifax pour visiter les principales attractions.

Great Remote Work Location

We stayed for a month while working from Halifax. The home was very clean and reasonably well appointed. Chris was very responsive and helpful. When we identified a couple things we felt were missing, he did his best to accommodate us quickly - remember, we were 2 people working remotely for a month - we needed a little more than most renters would. The location is phenomenal if you like hiking, walking, running. It’s only about a 10-15 minute drive to Halifax waterfront and has ample good restaurants and shopping options nearby. It’s an easy walk to Sobeys, Shoppers, NS liquor store etc. Chris even had some good restaurant suggestions that we really appreciated. All in all this was a very good solution for what we needed. The month went by quickly. And we felt comfortable and “at home” throughout our stay b

Overall everything you read about the information is spot on. you may have to google map some spot on how to get around. The city is fantastic and you would love Halifax for it lush green and hilly City. store and restaurant are a walking distant. The comfort of the home is good. oh it well worth the price. Clean, Bright, and Warm with enjoyable features such as a beautiful bay window, ample kitchen cabinetry, and counter space. Suitable for both young and old as considered a normal/regular home but we cannot be responsible for any injuries based on the design of the ever evolving space. Less than 2 minutes’ walk to Royal Bank of Canada, Macdonald, Shoppers Drug Mart, NSLC and Public transit bus-stop. Less than 3 minutes’ walk to No Frills, Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons, Dollarama, The Bowlarama and First Choice Haircutters.
