Second time staying here

Second time we’ve stayed here. Walkable to the pearl and river walk. Even with the crazy heat we still stayed cool. The only downside is they don’t seem to supply enough towels. Even though we noted that 3 people were staying, we were only provided with 2 towels. This happened last time as well. Otherwise a great little place!

Quaint weekend stay within walking distance of the Pearl

I was in town for a tennis tournament and this location was perfect for me being close to the courts and to the Pearl area as well. The vacation rental was cozy, especially for travel by yourself or for a couple with ample items in the kitchen, etc. to make the stay really cozy. If this location is ideal for you, then I would recommend this place for sure. It is worth noting that the rental is located behind a main house and that if you show up after the sun is down, it's easy to go to the wrong place so travelers beware of that. Also, if you are sensitive to car noise there is a decent sized highway not too far from the bedroom, but it didn't bother me at all. If you're someone who needs absolute silence in order to sleep, this might be a problem for you. Don't pass this place up otherwise though and enjoy a nice cozy stay.

Enjoyed this stay - neighborhood under heavy construction but good location and nice amenities. Decor fun and perfect for the area- nice ceiling fans in bedroom and living area- very nice water pressure and shower - Recommend but do understand the construction -

Great location. Cute place with everything you could need. Not enough towel we’re available, but they delivered some the next day. Definitely some traffic noise from the highway, but didn’t seem to bother us.

Lovely Place

Everything was perfect except the bed. It is really stiff and the pillows are really big and stiff. Would be fine for some but I had a horrible time sleeping. Most hotels these days have softer beds and fluffy pillows. This is the opposite. Otherwise, I would book again right away.

The property was spotless inside. Very nice accomodation. All amenities were provided. Free coffee, outdoor patio with grill and chimnea. Very nicely appointed. Noisy freeway behind property. Construction site next door that began work at 0730 every morning, very noisy, no sleeping in. The construction site has portapotties just over the fence from property that were pumped out early one morning generating loud noise and bad smell. The mowing crew showed up one morning and blew dust and grass all over our vehicle. The rental is in the back yard of a fenced lot and the parking is accessed by a very narrow drive with little room to maneuver. Several times in a one week stay we were blocked from leaving by a vehicle parked across the drive opening. The owner contacted us by email one morning asking us to take the trash bin to the curb for trash pick up. I ran a VRBO for 2 years. I would not expect my renters to perform that task. Recommend to owner that all possible negative aspects be listed. Ensure that all lawn maintenance is done before renters are there. Lawn is small and should be possible. Never ask renter to perform tasks that should be done by the owner or property manager. Good overall stay, but would not rent again.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host responded very quickly. Great stay

This casita is located right down town San Antonio. It is freshly remodeled and is exactly how depicted in the pictures. I believe we were just the first or second rentors. Everything you need is there, in perfect condition, and the rental manager(s) are very easy to deal with. I would stay here again if in the area. Be aware, due to it's city location it can have some street noise, and I don't believe it could be considered walking distance to the San Antonio sights. I would stay with Birdy Properties any time in the area.

Downtown jewel

This house was perfect for our San Antonio get-a-way. It was clean and bright and had all the comforts of home. Location was close to everything. The king bed was comfy. We would recommend this VRBO.
