"Carolina Comfort" will welcome you and wrap you in southern charm. Enjoy the best of beachfront living when you visit this lovely four bedroom and three bathroom property featuring a fresh remodel which includes new windows and doors on the ocean side to enhance the outstanding views, plus an oversized deck. You'll love the location, just steps from the sand along a semi-private walkway and just a few short blocks to the bustling downtown Boardwalk in the family-friendly town of Carolina Beach. Bring the whole family, including the doggies, and enjoy a little "Carolina Comfort" for yourself.

"Carolina Comfort - Lower" has a King bed in the oceanfront primary bedroom with on suite bathroom, a Queen bed in the second bedroom, two twins in the third and two sets of bunkbeds in the fourth. All of these are on the same level. The bathrooms and kitchen have been recently updated, and the deck is so big that you'll want to spend all of your time outdoors. This home has Streaming TV only, and a charcoal grill is provided. You'll also enjoy rinsing the salt and sand away in the outdoor shower.

Don't miss a spectacular sunrise, the awesome donuts at Britt's, watching for playful dolphins, Thursday night fireworks on the beach or the Saturday Farmer's Market at the Lake. You'll want to immerse yourself in the myriad of activities offered on Pleasure Island. If it rains, head down south the the Fort Fisher Aquarium, or check out the historical site. Maybe you want to take a ferry ride over to Southport for the day, or perhaps go hiking in the maritime forest of Carolina Beach State Park. Good…but not exactly peaceful.

The condo was nice. It was as desceibed in the listing. The checking process was very easy and the rental company was great to deal with. I’m giving this a less then stellar rating because there is a house directly next store, less then 10 feet away from the beautiful deck, with a pool. There was a family with very young kids staying there and it was so loud and so close it really made our trip less then great. Even when we were inside the condo we heard them. It’s like it’s the same house. I left knowing the whole family by name, food choices, etc. So if you are looking for peace and quiet you might want to look elsewhere as pools at the beach typically attract young kids.

Fabulous property

Our family (from Grandma to 2-year old grandchild, spent the week enjoying easy access to the beach, roomy common areas inside and cozy privacy when we needed it. The condominium is surprisingly roomy, with the ability to close a door to divide two bedrooms from the rest of the condo. The house was clean and extremely well appointed. Dishes, pans, flatware and utensils aplenty. And the location couldn’t be better! Immediate access to the beach via a private short boardwalk. BEAUTIFUL beach. We vacationed the middle of July and the beach was quiet and not at all crowded. The sand itself is smooth and great for walking, and playing in the waves was a daily entertainment. This is an ideal rental for a family.

Perfect location

On the day of arrival, we did not receive an email with check in information. I had to log in to the reservation site to find the door code. When I found it, the code did not work. We tried contacting the property manager, but they didn’t answer for 30 minutes and two emails. Once we got ahold of someone they were able to create a new code that worked instantly. The house was beautiful and in the best location. Near by to the restaurants and grocery stores. Loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishware and utensils. Plenty of space for a large group. A few things to consider is that the HVAC definitely needs to be checked out. At night, all the rooms got so hot and the ceiling fans wouldn’t help unless it was at max speed. But some fans made a noise that high so they might need some attention. Also, maybe provide more than just the toilet paper on the rack? We had 8 people in our party and had to go get more toilet paper on the second to last day. None of these are deal breakers. All in all, we would definitely come again!

We had a wonderful time here!! The house was perfect for our family. The house had everything thing that we needed for our stay. The only recommendation that I would have is to bring your own beach toys and chairs 💗

Solid beach rental in a great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my family's first stay in Carolina Beach and overall we were happy with the location and house. My only complaints are the house wasn't very clean as there were bugs on the floor in the living room and bathrooms and some beach sand so it's obvious it wasn't vacuumed well and the trash compactor was filled with old recycled items. Also, two of the three toilets had not been cleaned well as there were ring stains in both. Finally, one of the bedroom doors wouldn't close all the way which was inconvenient for my in-laws.
