Loved the place last year, this year not so much.
The property is in a good location. We had issues with no Internet which meant no TV either for the first 4 days of our stay. We called when we checked in to tell them so we could get it fixed and the girl at Ward Realty told me "that happens because you are on an island." They made no effort to resolve it at all. Called again on Sunday, said they were on the phone with Spectrum for 45 minutes but didn't tell us what the result was and we still had no internet. Called Monday and they said we were "on the list" with their workers and they "might get to us" but no one showed. Tuesday around 12 I finally get a call they are coming. The maintenance guy did give us a new router and I agreed to remain at the home on Wednesday to let Spectrum in between 5-6 pm. Spectrum never showed. I asked to be refunded something for being without internet for 4 days and for doing the rental management companies job waiting for Spectrum. No response from anyone. Spectrum never came for the remainder of our stay either. I don't think the management company cares if the problem gets solved with Spectrum and they NEVER reached out to me to see what they could do to fix or accommodate me. I needed internet to do some work while there and my granddaughter wanted to watch cartoons during a storm. If you need a good night sleep, the twin beds sleep pretty good but the queen bed needs to be replaced. The treatment by the reality company and the old bed will send us to a new rental next year.
