You folks missed an opportunity for an A because you aren’t paying attention to details. The good:Excellent location, great light, spacious apartment, good kitchen layout and handy laundry machines. The details Carpets stained. Quilted bed spread and placemats stained. Washed them ourselves. Parking fob battery was dead. No code provided so had to get help from the residents who kindly helped me. Light outside the bedroom balcony is out and the bulb that was replaced over the living room couch the day we arrived went on and off by itself a couple of times. The ceiling damage under the a/c ductwork should have been fixed and painted before we arrived. It’s a short and easy fix and your guests shouldn’t have to look at it. No waste basket in bathroom And for goodness sake, do not argue with the guests when they point out stains in your carpet or claim that the couch is new when the cushions clearly show the sun has bleached the blue couch green. It’s insulting. Last: Detail clean the hood over the stove and fix the light switch in hood over the stove. Add some bathroom soaps, add some wall hangings, add something to read, consider more than one washcloth. Other small considerations that let your guests know that you actually want them to feel a bit pampered will make it easier to swallow the cost of your facility. Maybe hire someone with a background in hospitality to give you some pointers or buy a book on how to be the best host?
