Family friendly very convenient

This apartment was perfect for our family. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and roomy. The Red Barn Market is close by for quick groceries. . We enjoyed morning walks on the beach—just a short 5-10 minutely walk to get there..

Séjour sympathique

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour globalement, beaucoup de commodités pour les familles et communication facile avec l’hôte. Points négatifs : il y avait une odeur de tapis dans le logement et nous entendions beaucoup les gens au-dessus de nous.

Family Stay in Victoria

Clean apartment, loved the family friendly touches like the toys for our little one. Pack n play and high chair available. Big bed. The kids room is more of a closet. Would be nice for one younger kid. Nice neighborhood near running/walking trails, the beach, and a lake. Some upstairs noise but nothing that really disturbed us. Thanks for the stay!

A Perfect Stay!

We stayed here for a week so we could help our daughter get familiar with Victoria before starting at UVic in September. We live overseas and had spent the previous 4 weeks traveling around to various places and staying in a lot of hotels, so this suite was absolutely perfect for us! It had everything we needed and was incredible well-stocked and clean. Clear instructions were given before we arrived and upon check-out. Our kids were very happy with the sleeper sofa, and we were happy to have our own comfortable room. The neighbourhood is convenient with shops minutes away. We had no complaints and would definitely stay again the next time we are in town!

Lovely suite in a quiet neighbourhood

Our family of 3 (me, my husband, and 7-year-old daughter) enjoyed our stay at this suite. It’s in a beautiful and safe neighbourhood, and the family that lives above is respectful and quiet. Our daughter loved the little kids’ room and appreciated all the fun toys to play with! Cordova beach is nearby, a bit of a walk on a steep slope but definitely walkable. The beach is very pretty (plenty of soft sand) and not at all busy. I would recommend this place for small families who don’t mind a short drive into town.

Wonderful suite in a great location!

My friend and I had ample space in the two bedroom suite. We had everything we needed. It was in a very convenient location for all attractions and was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent quiet place to stay in greater Victoria, BC

We were here for a conference and to visit friends in the Victoria area. This was a perfect place for us. We had a dog and that worked out well (the host even provided dog bikkies!). One of us did a lot of bike riding to visit friends and the Lochside Trail is right there. We did lots of walking and birding and there are lots of trails and parks right there. The rental facility was perfect - lots of space, a comfy king-sized bed, etc. And loads of little touches to make our visit special.

Nice place

The location was perfect for us to visit with family, clean and comfortable space. The slight step down to the kitchen was a concern as when walking in with bags in hand and looking for a place to put stuff down I saw the kitchen table. I had my hands full and did not locate light switches yet and fell on both knees and bags went flying. This could be very dangerous for an older person. After locating the light switch I saw the yellow tape to identify the step down which makes me think this is not the first time this has happened. Maybe a night light that is always on would help identify the step down when the lights aren't on.

Just what we needed plus responsive host

This property provided a great location for our exploration of Victoria and parts of Vancouver Island. Check in/out went easily. We had a minor issue with getting channel/streaming on the TV. Host arrived within minutes to resolve the problem. Only concern we had with the property was the very small step-down from living area into kitchen and we quickly adjusted to that. Being older, we appreciated the motion activated nightlights to help with navigation of an unfamiliar environment. Overall, a great experience with a very responsive host.

The location was perfect for us. The shops/cafe and golf course right across the road can’t be beat. Proximity was perfect. Beautiful Beach Community

This property is within a short walking distance to the serene Cordova beach. We enjoyed visiting Victoria for a day and Butchart Gardens for half a day. It is a basement so there was some overhead noise, but overall a great place!

Suited us perfectly

The property was clean, quiet, roomy and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and included a lot of basics that we didn’t have to buy. The bed was great. There were a lot of places to walk our dog (who was also welcomed with treats) and being just around the corner from Mattick’s was so nice. Also appreciated was the dedicated parking space close to our private entrance. Vashti was very responsive to questions and a perfect host.
