THE BEACH:
We are across from a quiet sandy paddling beach, which is safe and great for small children.
At low-tide you can walk to the Clifton Springs Golf Club for a meal and stop at the Dell and check out the springs and history (30 minute walk one way)
It is also a great place to forage for sea glass and shells.
You can even see the Melbourne skyline on a clear day!
THE SPACE:
3 Bedroom well-loved family home complete with Ensuite
*Double USB powerpoints have been added to each bedroom and in the kitchen, for easy accessible charging!
*Light and bright L shape living room (with ceiling fan) with a breakfast nook to seat 4. Completed with a large flawless floor to ceiling double glazed window and a separate double-glazed sliding door to the front for the ultimate spectacular views across Corio bay to Geelong, Avalon and the You Yangs.
*A compact but functional kitchen including pots, pans, cookware, wall oven, microwave, Miele 2 burner electric stove-top with adequate bench space.
-An accessible double USB power outlet, great for charging devices
-This space has a sliding door into the pergola/bbq area that leads to both the front and back yards with supplied BBQ
-The dining area adjoins the kitchen with a big 12 seat dining table and ceiling fan
*Bedroom 1 – Queen size bed, ceiling fan, wardrobe and a double USB power outlet
*Bedroom 2 – King Size Bed with Ensuite. Ceiling Fan and 2 double USB power outlets (WIR is not available for guest use. Clothes rack is provided)

My approach is to allow you space to enjoy your stay but I am close by and more than happy to assist where needed.
*Clifton Springs is a lovely, quiet and friendly beachside neighbourhood. We do have elderly neighbours. No loud noise. No parties. Not suitable for schoolies.
*Spectacular Scenic views and a great fishing location, Clifton Springs has a safe boat harbour with 3 boat ramps 5 minutes from home.
*Safe clean swimming beaches. Clifton Springs was rated one of the cleanest beaches in Victoria.
*Local Supermarkets Liquor store and take away restaurants close by in Drysdale an easy 5 min drive.
*The Bellarine Peninsula is home to so many great wineries and restaurants.
*Easy access to Victoria's best surfing locations, Ocean Grove, Torquay, Bells Beach, Point Impossible.
*Great base to explore the Great Ocean Rd or a day trip to Lorne .
*Catch the Ferry from Portarlington to Melbourne City, or catch Ferry from Queenscliff and go to Sorrento for the day.
*Have fun at Adventure Water Park at Wallington.
*The Bellarine Tourist Railway at Drysdale a steam train that runs from Drysdale to Queenscliff or the miniature railway at Portarlington.

It needs better care
The internal of the house was not cleaned very well with a scum over al the kitchen benches and cooking utensils. Same in the bathrooms. the floors had a lot of dust and paper under the couches. The outside areas like the Barbeque needed attention as the area did not appear to have been cleaned for some time. We had no free to air TV for our entire 5 night stay and the host did nothing to fix the problem. The area is great but we would not stay or recommend this property.

Magic spot, great house
Wow, this house was great! Fantastic views & great position. House had everything you could possibly need, down to breakfast items, popcorn & TimTams!!! Even a hairdryer in the bathroom. Linen & towels also included. Just grab some clothes & you are set. Thanks for a fabulous long weekend! We will definitely stay here again.
