Welcome, we're excited to host you in our Hawaiian hideout!

Welcome to Gorgeous Hideout!! Part of the Kuilima Estates East community, this tastefully designed unit comes with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and offers 658 interior square feet of space for your enjoyment. The spacious interior sleeps four (4) guests with one (1) king bed and one (1) sleeper sofa.
You are provided one (1) dedicated parking stall with additional guest parking should you have visitors. The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare on-site meals, has an in-unit washer/dryer for laundry, and a covered lanai (porch) for enjoying your morning coffee. The unit is located on the 17th green of the Turtle Bay Fazio gold course and just a short walk to the beach.

Guests have the option to stay within the gated Kuilima Estates East complex and enjoy the community pool, BBQ area, tennis court, and gazebo. Or located just a short stroll away, Turtle Bay Resort (newly renovated as of July 1, 2021) offers a selection of dining options, day spa services, helicopter tours, horseback riding, surfing lessons and world-class golf with two (2) exceptional 18-hole courses: Arnold Palmer and George Fazio.

Unbelievably run down
This is the first bad review I've given in over 30 years coming to Turtle Bay and staying in the condos here. This site has a nice bed, towels and a new dishwasher. Other than that, it's filthy and has no furniture to speak of. the "sofa" looks like it came from Goodwill and squeaks/groans loudly whenever you try to sit on it, and is the only furniture to sit on (other than a $15 plastic chair from Walmart), as does the white table and the bar stools are broken. the drapes don't cover the widows and are filthy with stains. the walls are covered in marks and peeling drywall (in the living room. The baseboards haven't been cleaned in what looks like years, the fake wooden flooring is curling up, likely due to water leaking. The washer and dryer are rusty, as is the refrigerator and oven. The dresser drawer was broken. I have pix of all these items, can't tell you how disappointed we were..oh, cockroaches are also in the unit - even though the community consistently sprays for them - we've only seen this issue a couple times previously in other units, but not that big of a deal.

Very rundown unit very disappointing
We were shocked when we walked in and saw how sparsely decorated the unit was, the pictures don’t show how ugly and uncomfortable it really is. The furniture has food ground into it and stains. Barstools are mildewed and wobbly. Broken ugly ship wheel clock on floor. Filthy curtains that don’t fit the windows, dresser drawer fell out when I opened it and was unusable. Black mold in bathroom ceiling, washing machine rusted out everywhere, paint peeling. We picked unit because of bicycles and beach equipment. Bikes don’t work! Rusted chains. Beach chairs broken, mildewed, just a pile of discarded junky old stuff. We left a night early and went back to our families house. Kitchen bare bones, nonstick pans so scratched they’re a health hazard to use. Knives in block had sticky black stuff on a few of them, I scrubbed it off. We couldn’t get dishwasher to turn on as we were leaving. We left the few dishes in it. Their weren’t towels in kitchen to wash them . The bed was comfortable, the only plus! I don’t know if the Property Management company is aware of the situation or if the owner is not willing to take responsibility for the unit and make it rentable. If it’s the owner then I would recommend the Property Management firm drop them because they’re making them look bad. We left the unit cleaner than we found it. We would never stay in this unit again but definitely will be back to the complex. It’s safe, secure, quiet lovely pools, very nice security staff. Also a broken bidet!

Turtle bay condo
Good location for us. We came to attend a wedding at nearby Sunrise ranch. Condo is clean. furnishing is very basic. The owner should consider replacing the barstools, they are "rickety" and starting to fall apart. Also fix the top drawer rails on the dresser in the bedroom. We used the beach cruiser bikes to go to the beach near the resort. Overall, had a good time

Good for 2 but no more
We (me, husband, kids 12 and 13) stayed on the N. Shore for the first part of our trip. This was the least expensive condo that I could find that still looked clean and updated. Upon arrival we discovered many deferred maintenance issues (in the bathroom particularly), ratty towels, useless Wi-Fi and a poorly stocked kitchen. On the plus side, the bed is extremely comfortable, the beach chairs, umbrella and snorkels came in handy and the pool is great. Unfortunately that is not enough for me to be able to recommend this unit.
