WELCOME TO OUR VACATION HOME
Our delightfully appointed corner condo boasts 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It is on the 14th floor of the ultra-luxurious and iconic Sapphire Condominiums on South Padre Island. Natural light and fantastic beach views flood our open-concept living and kitchen areas. Don't forget your binoculars and camera - the sights from our private balconies are worth more than a thousand words. You'll be able to see the beach and Gulf of Mexico, the stunning tropical resort landscape and pool, the jetties, and the Gateway to Mars: Starbase and the SpaceX launch site. You won't want to miss the sunrise over the Gulf or the sunset over Laguna Madre Bay, either!

Our deliciously equipped kitchen includes full-size stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Stop by the charming local grocery, Blue Marlin, then whip up a home-cooked meal for the whole family. Dine at the breakfast bar, which seats 4, or on the balcony we've furnished just for you.

Our primary Bedroom is a paradise all on its own with its king-size bed and gorgeous ocean views. The ensuite bathroom has a spacious double sink vanity, a walk-in shower, a swirling whirlpool tub, and a huge walk-in closet. Our 2nd Bedroom features 2 queen-size beds and can accommodate up to 4 guests. Your companions will love being across the hall from our 2nd full bathroom. The guest bathroom has a spacious vanity, walk-in shower, and detached soaking tub - perfect for the kids in your group! Speaking of kids - we've kept them in mind for our 3rd Bedroom. With its 2 twin beds and lovely view of the Laguna Madre Bay and Queen Isabella Causeway, our 3rd room is the ideal spot to keep the kids entertained when they're not making waves in the pool or on the beach.

Our vacation home has two private balconies. You can watch the sunrise from our beachfront balcony while the resort comes to life every morning. Our bay-side balcony has an electric grill, which you'll love using while enjoying the sunset over the bay.

We've included some bonus amenities for you and your companions to enjoy. When you're ready to head home, you can leave the sand behind - our in-unit washer & dryer are here for your convenience. We added a sofa sleeper, high-speed internet, cable and internet TV, a DVD player, and automated window coverings (if you dare to part with the views). We want nothing more than for you and yours to feel at home. Nothing will stand in the way of you and your perfect vacation.

SPECIFIC RENTAL POLICIES
-A pre-arrival check-in form must be completed 48 hours before arrival.
-30+ day stays begin on the 1st of the month
-A 3-night minimum stay is required.
-Sapphire requires all guests to check in at the off-site Guest Welcome Center. After check-in, they must visit Sapphire's front desk to pick up key cards and parking permits.

POLICIES & INFO
Resort Fees: At certain times of the year, rentals may charge a one-time, per-guest Resort Fee to facilitate guest access. For more information, consult the Property Description or contact the reservation agent. Sapphire's Resort Fee of $49 per day is required and will be billed prior to check in ($57.33 including tax).

Refundable Damage Deposit: Rentals may require a Refundable Damage Deposit from March through Easter weekend. The Rental Company will collect this deposit by cash or credit card at check-in. If paying by credit card, the Primary Renter must present a credit card that matches their name upon check-in. For more information, consult the Property Description or contact the reservation agent.

Age Restrictions: The minimum age requirement for renters is 25. As per Homeowner Association Rules & Regulations, THIS CONDO DOES NOT ALLOW YOUNG ADULT/SPRING BREAK GROUPS.

SAPPHIRE HOA POLICY FOR ALL RESERVATIONS WITH DATES INCLUDED FROM MARCH 14TH - 23RD AND APRIL 11TH - 2025
"The Primary Renter must be 30 years of age or older, as verified by a government-issued ID and accompanied by only members of their immediate family. For purposes of renting during these times, “family” is defined to include only members within the first degree of consanguinity or affinity (e.g., parents, grandparents (including in-laws),
and children). (Cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, or nieces are NOT considered immediate family.) No two families can share a condo."

- This rental is family-friendly and non-smoking.
- The number of guests must not exceed the stated maximum occupancy.
- Parties are strictly prohibited.
- Please keep noise levels to a minimum to respect other guests and property owners.
- Professionally laundered and sanitized linens may be exchanged for free on the east side of our off-site Guest Welcome Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Laundry detergent and sofa sleeper linens are available upon request at our off-site Guest Welcome Center.
- This vacation home does not allow pets.

Beautiful Space X

Beautiful condo with views front, back and side. Ocean view, bay view and large window facing Space X. We were fortunate to see a rocket launch from our balcony! Had a little glitch but maintenance arrived within an hour and fixed the problem. Highly recommend this unit.

Great place

We had a really good time and the space was amazing. The views can’t be beat. The blind in the living room looking to space x doesn’t rise so that was a bummer but not that big of a deal. The kitchen is well appointed.

Variety of issues with a nice condo

We've stayed at the Sapphire over a dozen times in the last 10+ years. This time there were a number of challenges that made our stay sub par. When we arrived we both the internet and cable didn't work. I called to let the property mgr know, but since it was later in the day they didn't have anyone who could help. I wound up rebooting the systems, applied updates, and then waited for them to install. This was able to get the cable working, but the high speed internet operated at a crawl during out stay. While I was able to sort these issues myself, it was time I wasn't planning on spending fixing issues in this premier unit. We then noticed that the shower in the guest bath didn't work. I again called the property management company who directed me to the Sapphire. When I called the Sapphire they sent me back to the property management company? After expressing my frustration they sent up the Sapphire's on-site repairman who realized the handle to the shower was broken and would need to be replaced. In the meantime all 5 of us showered in the master bathroom. Later he returned to do the repair, but we had to wait in the room that afternoon while this all transpired. I let the mgmt company know I was upset at this point and asked to have someone call me to address things. This never happened as they promised. Upon leaving we attempted to run the dishwasher as a courtesy for the few utensils used but it didn't work either. Definite misses that spoiled this Sapphire stay.

Over delivered!!

The condo was absolutely gorgeous, spacious, clean, and well equipped. The location was terrific, too. Our family of 5 (3 adult ish kids and my husband & I) had plenty of room to get out of each other's way. Beds were super comfy — and that’s critical as I’ve had back issues. No need to bring games — they’ve got ‘em. Movies? Yep — and good ones. Need a beach read? They’re well stocked. Oh— they have both a drip and pod coffee makers. We didn’t realize until we got there — good to know. There are umbrellas and chairs available to rent directly behind the condos, but we brought our own and carried them a little further south where the crowds thinned out. Space is kind of a theme for us, I guess. I’d visit again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend. Thank you for a great visit!!!

14th Floor Vistas

We always enjoy the Sapphire property! Great location for walks on the beach to the jetty & to Yummy’s for breakfast! Gorgeous sunrises over the Gulf from oceanfront balcony and sunsets over the Laguna from inside-access balcony. We appreciated having access to the Laguna balcony from this condo. Loved this condo located below the 21st floor & south-end tower corner unit! Bed configuration was great…no bunk beds for 4 adults…yay! Beautiful condo and appreciated that there was a table that could be used for meals/puzzles/playing mahjongg! Will definitely book this unit again!

Our stay and the view was amazing. There was a couple of minor issues. 1 - the grill didn’t work. 2 - some of the curtains wouldn’t go up so that affected the view in some rooms. Overall, it was a nice place to stay but a little bit overpriced.

Better than the pics show

This condo is so much more wonderful than the pics could show! It is so light and bright with amazing views! We had so much too For our 3 teenagers and could have brought 4 more people easily. The walk to the beach is super quick, and the pool was so nice and refreshing. The jets didn’t work in master tub, but it’s not like we spent much time in the tub!

Great get away

The location was perfect! Corner on the end. A view of the gulf and bay from separate balconies. The pool area was well take care of and easy access to the beach. Our rooms were quite and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay and will pick this location again!

This is a beautiful condo with spectacular views to the east, south and west. The decor is lovely. The only problem was the lack of a book explaining how to use blinds, television, etc.

Love Sapphire, stay here all the time!!!

We have been coming to Sapphire for years. We were renting an end unit on the 8th floor but the owners sold it and the new owners don't rent. Therefore, we were forced to find a new unit. This is certainly our new go to unit. Kitchen is well stocked, lots of different bedding and as with end units, always really quiet. You might consider adding some convenience items like a rolling cart for going to the beach. Another thing I can say is the check in process required us to stop at another location first, which was really just protocol and seemingly a waste of time. All other times we've rented here, we have been able to come straight to the facility. Other than that, great time as usual.
