Willkommen in der schönsten Gegend von British Columbia mit der größten Weißkopfseeadler-Population der Welt. Von unserem Grundstück aus sehen wir buchstäblich jeden Tag Adler, die über die Berggipfel fliegen. Und es ist auch ein Paradies für die Tierfotografie!


Unsere Gartensuite mit 2 Schlafzimmern ist ein idealer Rückzugsort für Menschen, die sich entspannen und die Natur wieder entdecken möchten. Wir sind nur 15 Minuten von Harrison Hot Springs entfernt, nur 25 Minuten vom Skigebiet Sasquatch, 5 Minuten vom Sandpiper-Weltklasse-Golfplatz, dem Chehalis River, verschiedenen Lachsbrutstätten und vielen tollen Seen Woodside Mountain, von wo aus Sie mit einem erfahrenen Instruktor Paragliding über das schöne Fraser Valley unternehmen können.

Die Suite befindet sich in einer sicheren, familienfreundlichen Umgebung und verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche und eine Wäscherei. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über eine sehr komfortable "Beauty-Rest" -Matratze. Die gesamte Suite ist klimatisiert und verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, damit Sie sich wie zu Hause fühlen.

Wir möchten auch erwähnen, dass wir im Wohnzimmer (Gemeinschaftsraum) ein bequemes Schlafsofa hinzugefügt haben, in dem problemlos 2 weitere Personen schlafen können.

Eine große überdachte Terrasse ermöglicht es Ihnen, Ihren Kaffee zu trinken oder draußen zu frühstücken, selbst wenn es regnet und Sie von jedem Punkt und jedem Fenster aus eine fantastische Aussicht haben. Die Küche ist mit kostenlosem Kaffee, Tee und Gewürzen bestückt, und während der Saison können Sie sich mit Salat und Kräutern aus unserem städtischen Biogarten bedienen.

Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung. Wir begrüßen Sie bei Ihrer Ankunft und versuchen, während Ihres Aufenthalts so hilfsbereit wie möglich zu sein, mit allen erforderlichen Informationen.

Natürlich erwarten wir von allen, dass sie unsere Hausregeln beachten, die nicht zu viele sind. Kein Trinken, Feiern, Rauchen oder Drogen nehmen, um unsere Umwelt sauber zu halten.

Nicht zuletzt können wir auf Anfrage und gegen einen Aufpreis von 20 USD / Person ein deutsches Frühstück mit unseren hausgemachten Bio-Marmeladen und einem unserer super-leckeren Eierspeisen zubereiten. Für einen kleinen Aufpreis von 20 USD können wir den Kühlschrank mit auffüllen Bauernhofeier frische Eier, Müsli, Joghurt und Milch.

Wonderfully Private and cozy!

Everything was 5 stars!!! Top to bottom! Really was an enjoyable stay! The host is amazingly communicative and they have gone out of their way to create a cozy private space in their home with this suite. Lovely Accommodations

We enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodations were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we needed to prepare a meal. Very comfy beds. We appreciated the shampoos and lotions available in the bathroom as well. My husband and I spent a lot of time sitting out on the patio and admiring the lovely garden. The traffic was a bit loud at times, but it didn't distract from the beautiful views.

Amazing private suite in the mountains

This is honestly one of the best homes I have stayed in. Dorothea is super nice and welcoming. Their first floor is fully furnished as a 2 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, living room, and full kitchen, and independent from the rest of their home for complete privacy. Each of the rooms looks out over their luscious garden and the forested mountains behind where eagles migrating from Alaska nest in November and the winter months. The patio and garden is yours to enjoy as well. This is a well-landscaped property and is a piece of paradise. I highly recommend anyone staying here to request the German breakfast at least one night during your stay. This is an elaborate breakfast that Dorothea served us upstairs in her kitchen. Meats, cheeses, breads, home-baked bread, home-made jam, perfectly cooked soft boiled egg, müsli with fresh, local blueberries and strawberries, organic juice, coffee, tea. Dorothea mostly buys in-season food from local, organic farmers markets, so you're getting the healthiest food while you're on vacation. The filtered mountain spring water here is amazing. Definitely bring a water bottle with you and take some with you. Dorothea is a warm, inviting, generous host. If there's anything you need, just ask. She was quick to respond to our request to stay with her and quick to respond to our questions. 5 star host, 5 star house, 5 star location. Will definitely be staying here again on our next BC trip.

Peaceful Getaway in the Mountains

The Garden Suite is secluded and private even though it is attached to the main house. It is extremely clean and comfortable, with great beds and soft linens. The living room and tv are very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners on the patio. Dorothea’s garden is a beautiful foreground for the soaring mountains beyond. Dorothea and Burkhard are wonderful hosts. They are very kind and generous, and gave us many ideas for activities in the surrounding area. They are also excellent photographers. This is the first VRBO we have stayed in that has original art on the walls. We highly recommend the Garden Suite!

Splendid stay in beauty and comfort

Quiet scenic get-a-way with a lovely host

The property is a little out of the way, but well worth the drive. The host, Dorothea, was super helpful and a pleasure to talk to. The place was decorated tastefully and has a fantastic view of the mountains where you can see your friends paragliding. We all enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful place to stay

Dorothea was a pleasure to book and communicate with, she was quick to respond and very accommodating to host the specific needs for my family. The suite was beautiful, just as pictured with very nice and comfortable beds and a GORGEOUS backyard to look out on. Great neighborhood that I felt very comfortable and safe walking around with my kids. The kitchen had everything we needed and the tv was very easy to use. Great Getaway - Room With a View!

Pleasant, modern, clean, & comfortable. We were looking for an opportunity to relax, visit with friends, while also having access to recreational opportunities. It was a quick 15 minute drive to whatever we wanted. This fit our expectations perfectly! The neighborhood was gorgeous and quiet. Our host was very responsive and helpful. Absolutely perfect!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for five nights with my husband and adult daughter. First of all Dorothea is a sweetheart. She was responsive right from my initial inquiry and followed through until our departure. The charming 2 bedroom guest suite is on ground floor of her home. It offers stunning views and privacy. It is beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, fully equipped, comfortable, quiet and welcoming. Dorothea’s home is located in a small subdivision of Harrison Mills. My daughter and I took advantage of its rolling hills as we jogged through the very safe and friendly community where neighbors greeted us with a wave or a smile. We thought the location was perfect - very close to Harrison Hot Springs & Agassiz and within a reasonable distance of Mission, Chilliwack and Abbottsford. Thank you for your hospitality Dorothea! When our travels bring us back to B.C. we definitely will be reaching out to you!

A lovely stay in Agassiz

The suite in Dorothea's home is clean, new and filled with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable and cozy. The neighbourhood is new and situated on a hillside which offers some spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. I was expecting something a little more remote (which is what I was looking for) but this worked out just fine. It was also a bit more of a drive to Harrison Hot Springs than I expected, but again, the generous, kind host made up for any shortcomings. I would absolutely come back with my family. Beautiful Apartment--Very Gracious and Helpful Hosts

The downstairs apartment was like new, spacious and exceptionally "homey". Our hosts, Dorothea and Burkhard, are wonderfully warm people who never stopped being helpful from the time we booked until our departure. We were especially impressed with the the many thoughtful amenities, such as a fridge stocked with bread, butter, jam and juice for that first breakfast after arriving late the night before! My grandson and I couldn't have been more pleased with our lodging choice.

We are married for 50 years, retired, free-lance photographers; and we live here since April 2016, when we decided to create a legal suite to host guests, who love nature and wildlife, being away from the huzzle and buzzle of the cities to reconnect with nature.

After selling our property in the city, we were searching for a property, and fell right away in love with this home because of the spectacular views from every window and because it's brand-new. We didnt want another house where we had to start renovating, but we just wanted to move in and enjoy. We hadn't been in this area before, and were just driving around and there it was!

The views from this private suite are beautiful. You can enjoy the covered deck or the little garden area and snatch some of the garlic and kales from the garden beds for your smoothies, of course, when in season. While I am writing this, everything is covered in snow.
