Spacious cottage in great location with private backyard!

We had a great time at Crestview Cabin! Plenty of room, nice finishes, great location (both in terms of neighborhood and location to Asheville), private back yard! We stayed with our two dogs and really enjoyed the fenced in backyard that was secluded and quiet as one of our dogs can be nervous around new people. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Cozy Stay in Asheville

We had a wonderful time at Crestview Cottage. The house is immaculate and full of anything we could have needed. The owner was wonderful about answering questions and helpful suggestions. It felt like we were very remote but we were actually very close to Asheville. The best of both worlds!

The perfect getaway spot

The cottage was immaculately clean, beautifully designed and fully of everything we could possibly need. We especially enjoyed the beds and showers, as well as the hot tub. It was super peaceful, and also very easy to get into downtown.

Relaxing getaway

We had a fantastic ladies getaway at this conveniently located and private cottage. We really enjoyed all the amenities like the hot tub and fire pit. It was a nice surprise to have smart speakers in every room (even the bathrooms) and lots of high end finishes in the kitchen and bedrooms. My only complaint is the backyard table and chairs could use a good cleaning. The gift basket with treats was also a nice touch The host was very responsive to our needs. Would definitely stay again.

This house is so nice and the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The location is close to everything but not in the middle of the City. The house also smelled good which I liked a lot. Great stay for the 5 of us.

All-around excellent experience just outside Asheville!

Really top-notch stay, everything was thought-through from the welcome basket to the # of towels provided to the way the place is laid out. Lots of people say they have a cooking-friendly kitchen, few actually manage to meet that promise. Feels very remote while still being very close to downtown, really can't find anything to complain about.

Great house close to all Asheville has to offer

This house was clean and modern with all the amenities we needed and more. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the house appears to be newly remodeled. Location was close to tons of restaurants, shops, breweries and hiking trails. Would definitely come back and stay again!

Perfect house for 4 adults $ a small dog

Loved it!

Great location (close to city but with a woodsy backyard). Owner was very responsive and helpful. House was very clean and had several 'luxury' touches throughout. Comfy beds! New fire pit was a fantastic addition! Would stay here again for sure.

Peaceful, thoughtful and accommodating

We enjoyed a great stay at this beautiful 3BR ranch home. We spent 4 days biking the hills around Ashville, and returned each day to this great home to relax and recover. Thanks for the well equipped kitchen, plentiful towels, lovely decor, and everything kept in mint condition.

Excellent Stay

This house was the definition of “thinking of everything for the guest!” It was clean, spacious, had games/hot tub/ Netflix for when you wanted to be home. It was close and convenient to so many activities if you don’t want to be. Shower and master bed were amazing. We will be back!!

Delightful

The house was impeccably clean, and had been beautifully remodeled. The neighborhood was quiet, pleasant and 15 minutes from downtown. The host was wonderful. He responded immediately to any questions we had during our stay, and i could tell that the enjoyment of his guests was a top priority! Per my preference and comfort, i removed the plug in air fresheners during my stay. As I said, the house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The next time we visit our UNCA student, we won't hesitate to revisit the Crestview cottage!

Heaven in the Mountains

Dan’s adorable and immaculate Crestview Cottage is everything it is advertised to be and more! His beautifully intriguing decor and attention to detail are seen all throughout the house and yard. From the easily accessible entry, clever and fashionable enclosure for the trash and recycling in the front yard to the easily lit fire pit in the back to the largest rain shower head we’d ever seen! Beds were comfortable, lightly fragrances throughout the house (big on not having unpleasant smells), recycling encouraged, huge TV and fireplace w lots of options for apps. The list goes on and on. Neighborhood is nice and convenient town. Just know the street the house is in is one big hill so just something to consider; especially if snow. Thank you for everything, Dan! You have a showcase in an amazing mountain town!

Disappointed

Our experience was different than all of the other reviewers. Upon checking in, I immediately noticed that the view in the backyard looks dramatically different than the pictures. All of the trees and brush along the fence were gone and you could clearly see the highway down below and hear cars speeding by. Not a very private yard to enjoy. The other problem was cleanliness issues. The outside charcoal grill was disgusting and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months. We brought burgers to cook, but I wasn't going to put them on that grill. I immediately contacted Dan about this and asked if there was a grill brush available so I could clean it. His response was "I don't think we have one". The kitchen was the other big problem - all of the dishes and glasses looked dirty and stained. The bottom drawer of the freezer was covered in food crumbs and even a couple of hairs. Below the oven, the cabinet had charred food and cookie sheets that were greasy and dirty. The stove top had fingerprints all over the place and obviously wasn't cleaned before we got there. I brought these concerns to Evolve who had Dan contact me. While he did offer to send the cleaner back out the following day, there were no apologies. We declined since we had already unpacked and weren't comfortable having someone in the house while we were gone. We rent alot of vacation houses and have never seen a kitchen this dirty. Besides these issues, the house was in a decent location and close to Asheville and the pictures represent the inside of the house, but we wouldn't stay here again.

Wedding Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was close to the Asheville Country Club and downtown. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-decorated—plenty of room for a family of 5.
