1 Schlafzimmer / 1 Bad Apartment. Geräumig, ruhig, komfortabel und sicher. Pleasant Quer Brise durch das Layout. Spektakuläre Aussicht auf den San Juan Hafen mit El Yunque im Hintergrund.

La Puntilla gelegen, befindet sich nur wenige Schritte es von der 'Paseo de La Princesa' Promenade, der Residenz des Gouverneurs und allen anderen Denkmälern und historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Altstadt. Die Wohnung befindet sich nur wenige Gehminuten von allen Restaurants, Bars, Boutiquen, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, usw. in der Altstadt von San Juan.

Das Hotel liegt auf der gleichen Straße wie die Küstenwache ist der Apartment-Komplex ständig von lokalen und Bundespolizei überwacht. Das Gebäude befindet sich direkt vor el Museo del Arsenal (siehe Bilder).

In der Nähe des Busbahnhofs, eines sicheren Parkplatzes und einer Fähre, die Sie über die Bucht von San Juan nach Cataño bringt, wo Sie die Bacardi Rum Factory besuchen können.

Adequate economy unit

Unit is in great location, but in an old, worn building. Noisy during the day from ship repairs on the nearby docks and at night from party noise from the old town. But a good price.

In san juan for work. Rental was convenient for me and walking everywhere is also convenient. There is a TV, and you would need to bring your own firestick to use. I didn't use it but wanted to is no t.

Great location, clean, well run

We stayed for 9 days and our experiences were in line with others. The property is well run, amazingly clean, and centrally located in Old San Juan. The bedroom AC is powerful, the washer and dryer work great, and the water pressure is on point! Would stay here again.

Great time.

Lovely views from this very nice condo. We enjoyed the cross breeze as had balconies on two sides. Kitchen had everything for cooking, large fridge, stove. Washed and dried clothing, nothing went home dirty. We purchased food daily from SuperMax, short walk. We highly recommend.

Great location and views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the view was better than expected. The sights and sounds of the cruise ships made for a colorful morning on the patio with coffee. The walk to shops and restaurants was short. Olivia was so accommodating for our arrival and departure. We are considering returning again but this time with our children.

Amazing!!

I have been to Puerto Rico five times but this was my first solo trip and I couldn’t have had a better experience or place to stay. Olivia was so attentive and quick with communication if I needed anything and the property was just beautiful. I felt extremely safe during my entire stay and I know I couldn't have picked a better property to stay at. I will absolutely be back and will try and stay here again if it is available!!

Lots of potential. Great location

Location is great. Beautiful views. living area can use an air conditioner. Great cross breeze in the afternoons but in the morning it’s was extremely hot. Couldn’t sit on the couch, all clumps. The apartment can use an overall makeover down to the pots and pans. The host was very responsive and available.

Round 2 in the best apartment!

I had stayed here last year during my first ever solo trip (5th time to Puerto Rico) and had the trip of a lifetime and I know a big part of that was because of this beautiful little apartment I got to stay in. I had such an amazing trip last year that I knew I had to come back again this summer and stay in this exact same place. Olivia and Maria are fantastic and the location just couldn't be better for exploring Old San Juan. I absolutely cannot wait to come back for the years to come and make sure I stay here for at least a part of those future trips! Wonderful Breezy Apartment

With its wonderful view over the San Juan harbor there was always a great breeze of air and as such no need for air condition in the living room/kitchen. The three doors to the balconies provided a significant view of the harbor and Old Town., especially after sunset.The road to the apartment leads only to the condominiums and to the US Coast Guard station and with that traffic is very light. The apartment had all the amenities ones need, even an extra room for washing machine and dryer. We concluded we could live there

Amazing location and apartment had everything u need for your gateway

Location was perfect, in walking distance to everything. Balcony of the apartment was our selling point, you could open all 3 drawers and have that PR experience, plus breeze was all u needed. We ended up renting a car to explore PR more, parking was easy. Garage near apartment was only 3$ or you could park off the street, if there was a space. Plus apartment had also beach towels and beach toys available for our kiddo, which was a plus. Olivia, was kind enough to put inflatable mattress that way we all could sleep in bed room. She also answered all questions super quickly.

Excellent Location

The apartment is very nice in an excellent location. Very clean and the best...the cross ventilation and the balcony. However, the apartment needs update as for example: the living room futon. Terrible! We couldn't spend minute's sitted on it because it's so uncomfortable. Also the shower curtain needs to be changed, it looked worn out. Lastly, even though the apt description indicate that no TV is included, not having it makes a great difference. We really would love to have one particularly during the evening after long days!

Beautiful top floor view

This apartment was PERFECTION! The location was in a quiet street away from the busy streets of San Juan but still so close EVERYTHING in walking distance! Many restaurants, shopping boutiques, bars, food trucks and marina/dock. A perfect location for first time tourists and others who just want to get away from their busy, fast-paced lives. A favorite was having breakfast with the balcony doors opened and coming “home” at the end of day to open them again to see the beautiful city lights of Cataño, across San Juan). You get visitors from time to time (pigeons) but they are so respectful and do not come in. They simply like to sit outside and experience the beautiful views. The best location I’ve stayed in Puerto Rico, this far! Thank you Olivia!

Staying here for us was everything and more than we expected. The view was amazing. The apartment was so convenient, everything within walking distant. Loved seeing the ships coming in and going out. Could hear street music almost all the time and especially on the weekends. The only concern would be if you would have a problem walking or claiming stairs. Our age is 78 and 80 we took our time with the stairs. Wonderful having air-conditioning for sleeping. Olivia and Luis he father were wonderful to commutate with, making it a positive experience. God willing we are looking forward to a return visit. Wouldn't change a thing. LOVED,LOVED,LOVED IT ! Sheri

Great stay in Viejo San Juan!!

We had such a lovely 2 weeks in San Juan….great food and fun and all of it just out your door! Do expect noise at night, but it never lasted all night. We were really fine-I used earplugs but my husband didn’t. Very spacious & comfortable, bed comfy, ac worked very well as did the WiFi. When we arrived first day, the tv wasn’t working-they replaced it the next day!! Met Maria the manager assistant-she was lovely and helpful. Places we really enjoyed: The coffee/sandwich kiosk just at the corner of Plaza de Armas, which is lovely anyway. (Also around the plaza is a Marshall’s for anything you forgot and the Supermax hgrocery!) Just across the street is the Consular Bar & restaurant, part of the Palacio Hotel. It usually opens at 7 am and it’s lovely….good food & service, great cocktails & coffee, pretty surroundings. So many good restaurants in a few square blocks. Great walking city down the Princesa walkway then around the old city wall by the sea to the El Moro fort. Can you tell I miss it?

Beautiful La Puntilla Condo

My wife and I had a lovely time at Olivia’s Condo in Old San Juan. We arrived late at night and the check in process was a little intimidating for first timers to the island. As there are no lock boxes allowed on the condo property, you do need to make a small trek into the streets of San Juan to grab it from a separate property. We unfortunately had an inconvenience happen due to a small error on their end but Olivia took care of us quickly and effectively and graciously offered a discount to help out with this inconvenience. She definitely communicated effectively and we are grateful for that. The condo itself is adorable. You get a lovely view of the harbor and get some amazing breezes coming through your doors. Lovely AC in the bedroom. Stocked kitchen. Towels, and some basics are supplied for potential beach trips as well as some toiletries. The location is super convenient. No parking on site but there is a very affordable parking lot right next to the condos that costs $3 a day! You are within walking distance of the entirety of San Juan and i cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you from both of us.

We could not have asked for a better VRBO in Old San Juan! We rented this for 4 nights after our Carnival Cruise. Perfect location, walking distance to entire town. We so enjoyed exploring each day. Amazing views of the city and Cruise ships. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and the cross breeze was amazing each day! We did use the air conditioner in the bedroom at night as it was a bit muggy and we could drown out any noise or light coming in. Rental had everything we needed, made use of washer & dryer which was very helpful coming off a 7 day Cruise. Note that this rental is on 4th floor with no elevator. Owners are excellent in communication and so helpful with anything we needed. Favorite places included: Spiga for coffee and Brie toast. Triana Tapas & Flamenco for dessert Coconut Flan and the Flemenco show at 7:30 each night is fun! Stuffed Avocado Shop was great, we got it to go and took back to rental for a casual night. El Jibarito for local cuisine, try the cheese balls! Senor Paleta for awesome Popsicles. Sat on back deck by water of La Casita (super close to rental; pink building) good drinks and food! We loved exploring the forts which you can easily walk to. Took the Ferry on Pier 2 to Bacardi Factory. You can also walk to a beach by San Cristobal - Playa Pena Beach across from the El Capitolio- about a 20 minute lovely walk. So much to see and do and this rental was PERFECT!!! Thank you Luis and Olivia!! We will be back!

The property is well maintained and in a great location. I had two issues, one is that there is active construction across the street. It will be there for awhile, based on what they are building. I came to work virtually and booked this place for a quiet experience. Well unfortunately due to the construction, M-F 8am-5pm, there was a constant beep noise that was loud and distracting. It is the sound a truck makes when backing up. That beep didn't stop through my whole stay those hours. I ended up having to work out of the back room to be able to hold my mtgs. When I contacted the owner there response was "I have no control over that." I get that, but please let ppl know through your listing that there is noise, so ppl can decide if that works for them. Second, the tank of the toilet cracked, about 4 days into the stay. There had been a faint line when I got there, but I didn't pay attention to it until I found toilet water all over the floor into the dining room. The owner did get someone to do a temp fix until my stay was over, which is great, but later followed up and blamed me for the tank and wanted to charge me the deposit money. I was appalled as there is no way I did that and can't even imagine how it would happen. Just be warned, great location, but constant noise and make sure to document the apt. when you get it so you don't get charged your deposit.

A Three Star that Should Be a Five

This apartment is located in the heart of Old San Juan by the bay where the cruise ships dock and there is a balcony with a wonderful, unobstructed view. The unit has screened, shutter style doors that provide a nice breeze throughout the unit. The photos and owner's notes on VRBO would lead one to believe that the unit is in pristine condition, but we did not find it to be that way. The unit is badly in need of repairs and a paint job. In the bathroom, he faucet is detached from the sink, so when you use the water the faucet flops around. In two out of my three showers the water never got warm despite allowing the water to run for several minutes. The shower never actually got hot. Two of the three shutter doors in the living room were broken. With one of them, one side of the door would not open at all. With the other, the lock down mechanism was bent so that you needed to jimmy it every time it was opened or closed. Again, while the balcony had a beautiful view, we observed that several of the supports that attach the railing to the balcony were rusted entirely through. The unit is on the fourth floor so this is a serious safety issue. When we arrived, there were several floor mats hanging on lines in the utility room. The owner's father apologized that the cleaner had left them. But amazingly, he did not put the rugs on the floor where they belonged, despite our paying a cleaning fee but left that for us to do. We also noticed there was no TV. The owner's father said that there was internet and that if we wanted to we could watch TV by streaming on the internet. We have rented from Homeaway and VRBO before and understand that some owners do not provide cable or satellite for TV viewing, but we hadn't before experienced where a renter was expected to bring their own viewing device. Another issue is that the living area furnishings are seem old, uncomfortable and ugly. Instead of a couch there is a futon which has no arms and was covered with an old bed spread. The chairs in the unit are straightback rattan with worn out cushions. Overall,it's not a place where most people would want to hang out. The over all feeling of this rental is that it is runned down. It is a shame because it is not that huge and it would not take much make repairs and update it. As said, it is a marginal three star rental that should be a five.
