Perched on the top of a hill and set on 51 glorious acres, this luxurious and well-designed 7 Bedroom, 6 Bathroom property is situated on a tightly held precinct of privately-owned vineyards in Pokolbin. Stable and Vines has been custom-designed for up to 14 guests and bursting with everything that you and your guests would need for a very memorable stay. Enjoy open landscape experiences that allow you to still be within walking distance to Saddlers Creek and Kelman Cellar Doors, and a short drive to Irongate Estate, Ushers, Gundog cellar doors and Ben Ean’s ‘Baume’ restaurant. Conveniently located close to Cessnock, cafes, shopping and supermarkets but within a 10 minute drive of the Hunter Valley Gardens, major concert and wedding venues, award-winning golf courses and restaurants such as Roche, Bimbadgen and Hope Estate, Cyprus Lakes, The Vintage and Bistro Molines.

Stable & Vines is perfect for your next luxury stay with family and friends and is conveniently located only two hours from Sydney and 18 minutes from the Hunter Expressway, you will enjoy the best of the Hunter Valley at your door. All bedrooms are well appointed and lovingly prepared with luxury bedding. Five are equipped with their own high-quality ensuites, and a further two bedrooms share a Jack & Jill bathroom.

Stable and Vine is designed around togetherness. Styled with beautiful décor, the open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen areas boast a beautiful sandstone gas fireplace, stylish and comfortable couches to relax in and a dining table with seating for up to 14 guests.

The designer country kitchen, perfect for the gourmet, and featuring a beautiful cooking range with multiple ovens, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and ample storage in the butler’s pantry. For those that wish to stay a little longer, a full laundry room is available to guests.

Outdoor dining is equally a joy with the spacious undercover BBQ area with overhead fan, ample seating and views to the sun-drenched swimming pool and acreage.

Everything at Stable and Vines has been planned for your rest and entertainment featuring all the mod cons including WiFi and Smart TV’s. Guests can enjoy an evening of games, or if competition is your thing, the fully equipped games room with foosball and ping pong table is sure to delight. For those who wish to retreat and enjoy some peace, the reading room is a cosy spot to take in some pages of your favourite book or magazine with a glass of wine.

Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.

Please note if Sunday check in then an additional $465 weekend cleaning charge will be applied to your booking.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $2000 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

CATERING and IN HOUSE CHEFS: All in-house chefs and caterers to Stable and Vine are exclusively provided and managed by our partners Hunter Concierge on-site.

NOTES 

A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.



Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.

Breathtaking group get away. House had everything that was needed including having all the additional entertaining areas catered for many laughs and entertainment. Stable and Vines
I hired this beautiful home to celebrate my 50th birthday with my close friend. There was 7 couples in total and the size of the property was perfect. With 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms this enabled privacy and space for all. The kitchen was well stocked and the outdoor area we used for the majority of the weekend. Even though it wasn’t warm enough to swim, we could sit outdoors day and night in comfort. The only thing I would say is a toilet in the laundry would’ve been handy rather than moving through the house wet if you were using the pool. Also, as one bathroom was a Jack and Jill bathroom, when used if one couple forgot to unlock both doors when they had finished use, the other couldn’t access it. Obviously this was not ideal as another toilet wasn’t available unless you were brave enough to enter the privacy of another couple in their room ( obviously an issue at night!)

New year family get together
We had a lovely stay here with our family. The pool is large and great for laps. The backyard is spacious. There is a firepit outdoors with ambiance lighting (only used in winter). The kitchen and butler's pantry were equipped with every possible appliance and item required (we cooked many dishes and even baked birthday cake). The laundry was well equipped and even had a portacot and high chair for those with young children. The games room had a bar, pool table and table tennis which was a great place to chill. The beds were comfortable and each room has its own ensuite which was a real bonus with so many guests. The property is located within 5 mins of ALDI and Coles and many wineries. It's also situated beside a stable so there were horses around the property. The only issue we had was running out of gas during the stay however this was remedied on a public holiday by the on call manager within the same morning. Excellent communication from staff. Highly recommend.
