Overall, we LOVED this property. We were there for a week, so below is a review of what we learned.
Pros:
1. The private beach was amazing. And while not connected to the Marriott, the exclusivity of actually being BEHIND the resort made this feel like a very exclusive location. Note: I normally go to the beach in the AM as the afternoon sun is too hot, but given the location of the building, do you errands in the AM and hit the beach in the afternoon. Otherwise you will be chilling in the shade all AM.
2. The decor in the condo was so nice! And it was much bigger than it looks on the photos. Everything felt so clean, fresh, and relaxing.
3. The view (maybe this should have been #1). Given how high up we were it felt like our room was OVER the water. It was so relaxing and seeing all the boats going by always gave you something to look at.
4. All the beds were comfy. My sister decided to sleep on the pull out couch and she said she slept like a rock, some of the best sleep she has had.
Cons (cause nothing is perfect):
1. The elevators are painfully slow. So make sure you have everything before going up or down.
2. There is no cable, but rather a roku. While I was fine with this my elderly mother couldn't figure it out so one of us had to change the channels for her. Just something to be aware of when planning your trip.
3. Maybe this is nitpicky, but there were no coasters and not enough towel racks. I didn't want to damage the furniture by putting drinks on them, and there was no where to hang up wet suits and towels. A nice rack on the porch would be ideal.
4. The gulf there isn't really a great floating beach like other beaches in Florida. Lots of seaweed, which wasn't a big deal. The private beach more than made up for it, but next time I will bring swim shoes because walking on the slim is a bit gross.
Overall, we really loved it and would def go back to this location.
