The Space
Enter through the quaint brown door to a spacious living room with a cozy velvet couch and modern, thoughtfully chosen decor. The gold touches, from the two-tier coffee table to the abstract artwork, shimmer in the sunlight that seeps through the large window. Play your favorite chill music on the Sling T.V and serve up dinner to family and friends at the luxuriously set dining table with seating for six.
The upgraded kitchen is just around the corner. With white cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances, this galley-style kitchen is functional and contemporary. The dark wide plank hardwood flooring continues throughout the whole first level, making the space cozy, clean, and comfortable.
Take your morning coffee on the fenced-in updated patio with seating and a view of the woods. Relax and enjoy the outdoors in the privacy of your home-away-from-home!
Up the staircase, you'll find two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed dressed in luxurious bedding, plenty of closet space, and extra seating under the two windows. The second bedroom is very spacious, offering a king-sized bed, desk space, and tranquil natural light. The two upstairs bedrooms share one full bathroom.
In addition to the two bedrooms, the basement boasts a king-sized bed and extra space to unwind. Access to the backyard, a full bathroom with a shower/tub, a T.V, and a spacious closet make the basement space just as comfortable as the other bedrooms. The laundry room is also located on the basement level.
The Neighborhood
Stirling, Virginia is a safe, family-friendly suburban neighborhood that offers plenty of free outdoor activities. Enjoy the woods no matter the season by visiting the nearly 900 acre Algokian Regional Park. Explore the paved and natural surface hiking trails, open fields, and natural wooded areas. The well-maintained golf courses are great for families and friends looking to spend the day outdoors.
Sterling is less than an hour away from Washington D.C., a city ideal for dining, bars, and museums. If you're looking for rich history, check out the National Museum of African American History and Culture for hours of learning about African American history. For art and modern architecture, head to the Hischhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden or the Smithsonian American Art Museum. You'll never run out of museums to check out in D.C., but even just a night-time walk around the monuments will give you a feel for the history and culture of D.C.
As for dining and drinks, stay close to home and enjoy Mediterranean cuisine at CAVA. Afterwards, head to one of the local breweries, like Solace Brewing, for budget-friendly IPAs. Or take the trip to D.C. and choose from a never-ending variety of cuisines, dining styles, and areas. For casual Chinese and Japanese fare, walk down D.C.'s Chinatown and find Wok and Roll on H st. For more upscale dining, Sfoglina Downtown offers Italian eatery in a gorgeous, airy space. We also recommend Lost & Found for a lively bar with an outdoor deck and craft beers galore.
IMPORTANT NOTE: CountrySide is a family-oriented community that prizes courtesy and quiet. For this reason, we can only invite family groups to any of our CountrySide properties. Additionally, because of past conflicts, we have had to enact a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for any violation of the either our noise or quiet hours (9:00 pm - 8:00 am) policies. In order to be fair and impartial with this noise policy, we have installed NoiseAware in all of our CountrySide properties. This technology is similar to a smoke alarm, but instead detects noise over a pre-set decibel.
This property is dog-friendly with an additional fee of $150, per pet, for stays less than 30 days. While staying with us, you are responsible for the actions of your pet.
