We will rent this again!

I rented this home for my family over a long weekend. It was PERFECT for us. We loved the place! It was comfortable and clean. We cooked and had a BBQ in the yard. The owner was great to work with. We will definitely be renting this place again when back in town!

Lovely Home

Very lovely and cozy home. It appears newly renovated. It was clean and well kept. Nice and relaxing backyard area. Neighborhood was nice and home was close to a Main Street. Communication with the property manager was great. Very prompt to reply. We had a great time.

What a gem!

My family recently stayed at The Bees -n- Bear Den. There were 9 in our group, ranging in age from 7 to 75, and the house provided plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was very well equipped. All of the beds were very comfortable. The master bath shower was to die for. I wanted to pack it up in my suitcase and bring it home. The backyard was perfect for my 7 and 8 year olds to run around and get some energy out. The location was prefect. The house sits at the top of a hill and affords great views of wildlife. All of my kids loved looking at the many deer out the front and side windows every morning. There was even a very nice park less than a mile from the house. If you are planning a trip to Canon City, you couldn't find a better place to stay than this one.

Beautiful home and great host!

Wonderful house that was extremely clean and taken care of! Karen, the host, was awesome to work with. She made sure my family was comfortable and taken care of. Couldn’t ask for a better experience! Highly recommend the Bee & Bear’s Den!

Weekend Getaway

What a great stay! We gathered for the weekend to celebrate our mother. We were a group of 8 adults. The house had plenty of bedrooms and gathering spaces (inside and outside) and a well-equipped kitchen. The space was clean and had plenty of supplies. Karen and Dan are terrific hosts. We hope to come back next year.

This property is immaculate! Details were anticipated for every need from laundry, to snacks, and all things comfort. Indoor and outdoor games. EXCELLENT hosts. The best item? A vending machine in the laundry room full of fresh snacks. In addition to a welcome bag of treats age appropriate. If in the area, be sure to stay at the Bee and the Bear! Best Lodging we have ever experienced

Delightful Stay in Canon City

My wife and I enjoyed our short stay in Canon City. The house was very comfortable , located very close to the downtown section, and the person who oversaw the home was very quick in returning our inquiries. The bed in the Master Bedroom was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of parking space in the driveway. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. It was a short hike to the river walk. What else could you ask for in a home away from home?

Absolutely beautiful home

From the moment we walked in to the fresh baked cookies and bread until we had to leave, this was without a doubt one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Clean beyond clean. Every room was inviting and warm. The decor was beautiful. All kitchen appliances updated and very nice. I did text with the property contact. They were quick with their response. The yard was awesome. There just isn't enough adjectives to describe this home. If you're looking for place to stay in Canon City, look no further!!! Thank you Karen...

EVERYTHING AND MORE! COZIEST HOME!

There needs to be a new category for this home and the hosts- SUPER SUPER HOME HOSTS! The pictures online are great but the home in person will exceed your expectations! We walked in to two bags filled with goodies. Amenities above and beyond- outside games, inside games, pots, pans, cleaning supplies, karoke, huge dining table.... the list goes on and on. The decorations are so cozy and welcoming. The couches are incredibly comfortable and made for the perfect movie night. The twin beds in one of the rooms are laid out so nicely and were ideal for my three littles. You will want to put the master bathroom in your suitcase it is so amazing. The communication with Karen, the owner, was thorough and beyond friendly. The check in process was easy, the check out process was well instructed, but the stay was perfect in every way! When a teen boy says "they thought of everything in this home!" you know it is truly a home away from home if not better. If I were you I would make extra plans to stay extra nights. We plan to be back!
