'Drift' at Coledale is the perfect family haven, a complete beachfront only across the road from Coledale Beach!

Complete with a kid's room, multiple entertaining areas, and high-end designer decor, this home is perfect for a family of 14 to enjoy!

We are a company that does a lot of travelling so our best means of contact would be either through the app or please email us and my Team will respond as soon as possible!

Coledale is a charming beachside village north of Wollongong. Fifty years ago, Coledale was one of the many coastal coal mining villages which lay to the north of Wollongong. With the decline of coal in the area and the arrival of regular electric train service to Sydney it quickly acquired a certain chic charm. Commuters decided it was within their price range and still close enough to Sydney. Today it is one of the most popular beaches north of Thirroul. Holidaymakers come for extended breaks and summer weekends. The seductive combination of a sandy 250-metre beach nestled between rocky headlands, rock platforms pockmarked with rock pools alive with sea creatures, two ocean pools (one for toddlers), comprehensive amenities, a beach edged by grass which is ideal for picnicking, a backdrop of 45-year-old Norfolk pines and cafes serving decent coffee, gelatos and inner-city cuisine demonstrates that its popularity is justified.

Location
Coledale is a beachside town/suburb north of Wollongong. It is 15 km north of Wollongong and
73 km from Sydney via the Bulli Pass. A more scenic, but slower, route down the coast via Stanwell
Park is 70 km.

The guests have access to the entire house for them to enjoy!

Our home is a two storey, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms beachfront dream. The floorplan consists of an open plan kitchen that doubles up as an entertaining space. There is also has a huge deck overlooking the ocean and headlands. A simple stroll down the driveway and across the road and you are on the beach, the perfect location! There is also 5 large bedrooms, one perfect for the kids! The kids room comes complete with a smart TV, 2 bunk beds, a sofa bed and beanbags - the perfect hangout!

The house sleeps 14 adults and/or children (including the bunk beds) comfortably or two young families. It has WiFi, Netflix, BBQ, and laundry facilities. All bed linen and bath towels are supplied.

HOUSE RULES
* Check-in: After 3:00 pm
* Checkout: 10:00 am
* No smoking
* No pets allowed
* No parties or events
* The home can accommodate up to 14 guests with the sofa bed upon request, with a fee of $140. Please let us know upon booking if this option is required.

ADDITIONAL RULES
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.

*In compliance with the Short Term Rental Accommodation (STRA) legislation, we will require a Guest Agreement to be signed upon booking. We are also transitioning from collecting a Security Deposit and will now be using a Pre-Auth form to address potential damages during your stay. 

*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is FOURTEEN people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to SIX people. No more than a maximum of TWENTY people are allowed in the property at any given time.

*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.

*This home is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.

*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering or loud noise outside of the premises or inside of the premises. We ask for minimal noise especially after 9 pm.

*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.

*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.

*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.

THINGS TO KNOW:
* Please note, this home doesn't have an aircon.

* This property is suitable for babies or children and we provide a travel cot, however we do not provide the linen. The cot is in the bedroom cabinet for you to set up. We do not provide a highchair, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

* Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

*Please note, the bed configuration downstairs is slightly different that the pictures. We have moved the bunk beds to the downstairs lounge and put a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom.

* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.

*If you are in need of beach towels for your stay, we can provide them to you for a fee of $20 per towel. Just let us know how many towels you will be needing and we can get this organised before your stay!

We had a perfect stay at Drift. Plenty of space for the whole family. It was a beautiful location with a perfect view of the ocean. The huge outside verandah was a so good fit all the family. It was a very short 2 min stroll to the beach and just 5 mins to the excellent local cafes.

Excellent location overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us & it rained all weekend but it was the perfect house to relax infront of the fire, be together in the open plan dining/lounge playing games & reading. The surround sound system is perfect for movie night & the lounges super comfortable. Quality furniture & fittings made the stay really enjoyable. Thank you for a great get away!

I was very unimpressed with the property and the service by the host. ˇhe property was beautiful at first look, however, there were three major safety hazards at the property - the upstairs bathroom door did not open from the inside - causing guests to become stuck, and also meant for the large group, no one could shower or use the toilet/shower/bathroom in privacy. - there were exposed nails / staples in the downstairs bedroom - in the doorway and main walkway - there was significant mould in the downstairs bedroom, covering the blinds - this caused immediate allergic reactions for several guests. There were also other problems with the property, including a bedroom light not working, and the upstairs balcony floor being significantly dirty. The soles of all the guests feet were constantly dirty, when walking around only within the house and on the upstairs balcony. This is even after I machine washed the mop sponge (as it was also very dirty), and then mopped the balcony myself. The couch was stained and torn in places. The lack of cleanliness would have been manageable without the safety issues. I notified the hosts immediately to rectify these issues for this stay, however nothing was done. The hosts were not helpful with rectifying these issues. I would not stay here again, and would not book through Getawayz. Such a shame because the property was beautiful and has such potential
