LAKEFRONT Beach House - Private Beach

We are sure you will fall in love with our warm and spacious two-story all season lakefront beach house! Located in a quiet community minutes away from Ontario's premium vacation destination, Grand Bend, ON, our beach house is the perfect getaway for families and mature adults.

Our 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage offers incredible views of the lake from the sunroom, one main floor bedroom and the loft. There is enough room to host 8 guests. Please confirm number of guest with us prior to booking. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Enjoy a fire around our outdoor fire pit (1 box of wood provided to get you started) or take a walk along the shoreline to Grand Bend, right from our private beach. It will take you about an hour to get to the Bend on foot.
We have 3 TVs (1 smart, 2 fire sticks so you can access your own Netflix/Prime accounts) located in the living room Lakeview bedroom and the loft). We also have an Xbox One available in bedroom 2 with a small TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need from cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, baking dishes and serving trays. Small appliances include: Fridge, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee machine (filters provided), Keurig, waffle maker, kettle, Nutri blender, toaster, small crockpot, hand mixer and griddle. Natural gas outdoor BBQ available so you don't have to worry about propane. Washer and dryer also available. Natural gas stone fireplace on the main floor and an additional gas fireplace in the loft to keep you cozy all winter long.

Please bring your own bed linens for 2 king and 2 queen beds and pillows.
We provide 8 bath towels, 6 hand towels, and 8 face cloths. All mattresses will have a mattress protector on them and one blanket will be provided as shown in pictures. Please bring extra blankets/comforters if you wish.

Lake Huron perfection

A beautiful cottage, well equipped and clean, and with a private sandy beach giving access to beautiful Lake Huron. The sunsets are amazing and the cottage provides many different seating areas to take it all in.

Wonderful Stay!

This cottage is perfect for a family getaway! The location is beautiful and it was so clean and well taken care of! Eating meals in the sunroom while looking out at Lake Huron was very special. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful views and clean cottage!

Vicki was very easy to deal with and check in day was a breeze. The cottage was very clean and the sunset views were beautiful. Everything we needed was there so we only had to leave for groceries which was a short 8-10 min drive from the cottage. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning :)

Picturesque Perfection

This beautiful beach home has all the amenities to set the table for a perfect summer family vacation. The view of Lake Huron and sunsets are next level, there is a beautiful, quiet, beach, complete with places to lounge and lunch. The fire pit is ideal for roasting marshmallows for S’mores as you gaze out over the lake and take in the stars. The hosts are helpful, responsive and respectful. Just a short hop (or hour beach walk) to Grand Bend, it’s a wonderful place to vacation. Highly recommend.

Girls Trip 2023

This cottage is amazing and the perfect place for our girls trip 2023. We loved the morning coffees on the upper deck, mimosas on the back deck, afternoon cocktails on the beach and evening sunsets at the fire pit. This cottage is a beautiful place and is so well organized and clean. It felt like everything we needed was anticipated. The view was hands down or favourite! The beds were so comfortable, the washroom were exceptionally clean, the kitchen had everything we desired including lovely flute glasses for mimosas. If your looking for a relaxing cottage with an exceptional view. This is the place you want to be.

Great Girls Weekend Get Away

We had an amazing time in Dashwood. The property is even better than described. It was cool fall weather, but the water is so beautiful from the enclosed patio. And waking up to that amazing view was heaven. And driving to Stratford and back was fun with all the beautiful fall colors. A trip to Dark Horse Winery was a great time and it's worth it to splurge on the charcuterie board. But the best times we had were just relaxing and playing games and hanging out at this beautiful house! I do hope to make it back sometime when it's a little warmer. We were only sad we couldn't use the kayaks and paddle boards. Last but not least, Vicki was wonderful to work with. She was extremely responsive and willing to work with us. I highly recommend this house and I definitely plan to return!

A beautiful home on the Water!!!

This property is amazing, from the view, the layout of the cottage, the cleanliness, the man seating areas and on and on and on. You can't ask for more for a getaway on the water. The view is amazing!! It's a lot bigger than it looks on line as well. We will definitely rent it again.

The cottage is beautiful, spacious and had all we needed for our couples weekend getaway. The views of the lake from the backward and surrounding windows is truly the best part, Vicki was lovely and quick with her responses.

Born and raised in Huron County, we spent most of our time growing up at either the rink or at the lake. My husband and I have been happily married for over 15 years, and have two beautiful children that share our love of sports, traveling and the beach. It has always been a dream of ours to own lakefront property, and we have been patiently waiting for "the one". Little did we know it would show up during a pandemic! November 2021, our lifelong dream came true, and we purchased this little piece of paradise.

From the second we set foot in this beach house, our family fell in love! So warm and spacious and even though it was renovated in 2015, it maintains that cottage look and feel with pinewood from floor to ceiling throughout most of the cottage. The beach, well, it is simply beautiful! We have our own private stairs from the backyard that takes you to a beautiful sandy beach. We have 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards for our guests to use at their own risk.

This place is full of warmth and character. It's so easy to cozy up by the stone gas fireplace with Netflix or a book. The sunroom is also a favourite space and can be closed off from the main living area or opened up. It's a great spot to sit back and take in the lake views while enjoying your morning coffee or relax while BBQing dinner. The spacious loft may cause an argument, so I suggest you decide who gets what room before you check in! King bed, big screen TV over a Vermont Castings gas fireplace and an ensuite bath, not to mention your own private balcony with the best view in the house! From the all season sunroom, to the main floor Lakeview bedroom with vaulted pine ceiling, the spacious loft, private backyard with fire pit, and let's not forget our very own private sandy beach, we are sure you will fall in love with this place like we did!
