Trail Creek is a great complex on the ski back trail from Snowshed. You can also take the shuttle bus to the mountain. The sports center has and indoor pool, hot tub, pool table, games and some work out equipment. Everything you need for the perfect vacation. The one bedroom plus loft offers sleeping in the queen bedroom and a brand new pull out sofa. Relax in front of the wood burning fireplace at the end of a long day on the slopes. The Green Mountains offer many summer activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Killington Resort offers mountain biking trails for all abilities, zip lines and a free fall jump tower for the dare devils and more in the Adventure center. which is in walking distance. Prestons is a great restaurant in the Grand Hotel located next to Trail Creek. Hike Vermont's Long Trail or branch off on to the Appalachian Trail and discover amazing views and water falls. Rent a Kayak and spend a bucolic day on Kent Pond or go river tubing on the White River. History buffs can enjoy visiting many Revolutionary battlefields as well as taking a trip to The Calvin Coolidge Homestead and Library in Plymouth, VT just 15 minutes from Killington.
