Lovely beach cottage - 5 minute easy walk to beach

Lovely, basic north facing holiday home located in sought after Tomakin, just a 650m/5 minute flat walk to beautiful Barlings Beach, Tomakin Cove, coffee shop/cafe and the Tomakin Sports and Social Club.

The property offers a comfortable upstairs living space, with kitchen, two bedrooms, a renovated bathroom and large north facing sun filled deck surrounded by trees frequented by the local birds and creating a lovely private setting.

There are currently renovations taking place on the ground floor, so no access is available. This includes to the laundry and garage.

Well located, clean and comfortable

Quaint little beach house, basic but comfortable. Ideal for a laidback holiday. Walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay again.

Tomakin is lovely

We had a very enjoyable stay in Tomakin despite some unseasonably poor weather. The house is in a great location and was very comfortable. We can see that when the renovations are completed it will be terrific holiday house. Robin was an excellent host!

Great location, welcoming and relaxing

This is a classic basic beach house - a nice deck that gets the morning sun, a short walk to both Barlings and Tomakin beaches and a kitchen with all the essentials. Easy check in and check out. The host was quick to answer questions, provided great local info, and left us some Easter treats. 5/5

Great location

Comfortable, clean, well equipped house. Our first time staying in Tomakin and it was nice exploring the area. The house is in a good spot with easy walking distance to beaches, cafe & club. We enjoyed relaxing on the large deck, cooking on the bbq and watching the bird life in the surrounding trees. We enjoyed our stay very much. No issues with anything. Thank you Robin. Will return for sure!

Small but quaint

A beautiful block of land. The house was small but good for a small family maybe one child. In a great location. However I overlooked the fine details of no washing machine. This put us out but luckily for us my parents live around the corner. Lovely deck and great bbq (inside cooking facilities old) we had many dinners outside. We also appreciated the dart board, boogy boards, fishing rods, board games and 3 bikes.

The owners went out of there way to make it easy to use and left lovely complimentary tea, coffee, milk and Tim tams and the house was nice and clean and serviceable. I really feel though that it was over priced for the location and the age and condition of the house. Two bedroom, upstairs huge high staircase to climb, no laundry, toilet in the bathroom in a tiny space between the shower and the wall. Just my opinion but I don’t think it was very good value. I stay away from home a huge amount of the time for one reason or another and know what things cost.

Nice house, best location

My family enjoyed staying at the property. It's a quiet location, short walk to the beaches. Clean house, comfy beds, good collection of the DVDs. There were a few bicycles, kayaks and fishing rods in the garage. My whole family enjoyed cycling in the local area. Robin is prompt in responding to my messages, very helpful person. I will want to come back again to this property in future.

Simple older style holiday cottage, walk to beautiful beaches

This cottage is a basic 70's style with an updated bathroom. Very clean and simply decorated provides everything you need to be comfortable and with all the pantry basics as well as some extras from Robin the owner. Lovely towels and sheets provided also. We had the use of the upper level with a large deck and views onto trees with a variety of native birds and ranges in the distance. Easy walk to stunning Barlings and Tomakin Beaches. Local cafe and IGA nearby.

Comfortable stay, super clean house in great location.

As described, old style beach house currently being updated. Nice new bathroom, old style kitchen and bedrooms but it is spotlessly clean and plenty of extras supplied such as fans, new bedding, lots of kitchen utensils and supplies. Short walk to a choice of beaches, some great for a gentle swim others for surfing and dog walking. Tomakin was a lovely surprise as it was our first visit to this part of the South Coast. Locals very friendly and appreciative of tourist business. Bengello Beach is magnificent, especially good for beginner surfers. Thank you Robin for great communication and instructions. We will come back again for another visit and see what downstairs looks like next time!
