With a fully fenced backyard and just a short walk to dock and river access, it’s perfect for your Savannah getaway. The living room sofa converts into a queen bed, accommodating up to 8 guests. Enjoy the quaint screened front porch and spacious back deck, ideal for families with kids and pets. We're only 8.5 miles from downtown Savannah. We provide professional photos and real-time images from our cleaning team, so you know exactly what to expect. We hope to host you!

Welcome to "Highlighter Hideaway"! Part of the Retro Rainbow homes on the Herb River. Our gravel driveway is located directly in front of our home and offers parking for two cars. Guests will have to navigate a small set of steps that lead to a quaint screened front porch and the main entrance of our home. Once inside, you will find an updated living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa, two oversized chairs, and a large flat-screen TV complete with Roku. Off the living room, you will find a full kitchen stocked with everything you need to settle in and feel "at home," as well as a dining room with seating for 6. As you continue through the home, you will find three bedrooms. Bedroom #1 has a king-size bed as well as an additional large flat-screen TV. Bedrooms #2 and #3 both have queen size beds. A full bathroom (with shower) and a washer and dryer help complete the inside. The backyard is the perfect place for families with children or pets. Enjoy our fully fenced backyard as well as our spacious deck!
For larger groups or multiple families, please feel free to inquire about our other properties that are part of the "Retro Rainbow". Pets welcome with an additional fee. We have a community game area with a great deal of seating and a grill. It also consists of different games such as volleyball, corn hole, ladder toss, and more!
For dock access, walk across the street. There is a little parking lot with a Patriot Family Homes sign between the condos and the orange duplex. By the water, there is a metal gate leading to a long double decker dock. Please fill out the dock waiver to receive the gate code. We have a community game area with a great deal of seating and a grill. It also consists of different games such as volleyball, corn hole, ladder toss, and more!

The house has a digital combo lock pad. We will provide you with the code upon check-in.
The Neighborhood:
Our location on the marsh provides the perfect back drop for what makes Savannah so charming! Large mature trees dripping in Spanish Moss, breezy nights and a location that is close to dining, shopping and adventure. With in walking distance to Pearls Salt Water Grill where you can enjoy a delicious meal with a gorgeous view!
Getting Around:
We recommend driving and offer parking for our guests. However, Uber and Lyft service the area as well. With in walking distance to Pearls Salt Water Grill. A local favorite!
Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.
