Welcome to your home away from home in Oceanside Village Resort. Step inside and enjoy the sunlit kitchen and living space. There is lots of room for everyone with 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom downstairs plus an enclosed loft bedroom & full bathroom upstairs. This fully equipped cabin has a BBQ on the private deck, as well as easy access to all the resort has to offer; indoor pool, hot tub, gym, plus spa and café on site and Riptide Lagoon Mini Golf next door. We also have games & puzzles for all ages!

Spring Getaway

Short Stay in Parksville

Although the weather could have been better, we enjoyed our stay at this property! The unit was well stocked with many extras. The hosts were available and helpful with questions we had! Great family spot!

The perfect place!

We loved our stay at the Oceanside Cottage! It was the perfect place and had everything we needed, even birthday candles and extra batteries! The layout is perfect and we especially liked loft area with the beautiful bathroom!

Vancouver Island getaway 2024

The place is really nice and clean. Rooms are perfect size for our family. The kitchen is well stock, you can find easily whatever u need, feels like at home. The location is perfect, easy access beach and pool. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much!

Comfortable spacious cottage

Our family had a short but sweet stay at this lovely Oceanside Cottage. It was surprisingly spacious for 6 adults, very comfortable and clean, an easy place to relax in after an active day. The location is excellent, close to Rathtrevor park. We appreciated the little extras and the simplicity of check-in/out. Thank you!

Beach vacation away from home

Dave is a great host. He is super communicative and helpful throughout the stay. We loved the place and enjoyed all of the amenities, especially the short walk to the beach! I would highly recommend this stay!

Wonderful Accommodation

Top quality linens and furniture. We secured our bikes in the storage area and were happy to see that the host provided us with a collapsible wagon and beach spades and shovels and buckets. The complimentary bottle of wine was an unexpected bonus!

Two family trip

This place is a perfect location to lots of family fun. Was lovely to have a wagon for beach use with two chairs so we didn’t have to pack any. I wouldn’t say this sleeps 8 as the single beds would not fit two people upstairs each but 6. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We brought foam mattresses and laid them in the middle of the beds for the 2 little kids. Fans were in each room but it was sweltering hot the first night so all windows were opened. A small AC unit would have been nice in a heat wave for sure. The host is very communicative and was great to deal with. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics for sure. A cool dip in the pool nearby was a great way to end the night every night! Would definitely stay here again

Great Stay!

A lovely home with all the amenities. Lots of extra touches such as extra linens, a number of board games for a broad range of age groups, and an very well equipped kitchen, Special thanks for the full sized Christmas tree for Santa to leave gifts under. Our host was responsive and communication was excellent. Will definitely return.

Home Away from Home

The property was lovely. We've stayed in other cottages in Oceanside Village, but this was the nicest one yet. The place was clean, bright, and very well-equipped. We were meeting up with friends for a much needed mini-vacation and this cottage allowed us to all stay under one roof with lots of space for the four of us.

When we’re not enjoying our home away from home in Parksville, my wife, Kate, and I live in North Vancouver with our two kids. We have always loved Parksville and got married at Tigh Na Mara in 2011. We are excited to share our little piece of property with our guests. We do our best to make the place feel as comfortable and inviting as possible. When we’re there, we spend our days at Rathtrevor beach soaking up the sun and enjoying meals and beverages at the Black Goose Inn.
