Far away from the hustle

This house was located in a remote area with direct access to the beach. Beautiful sandy shores and a cool breeze off lake Huron made this a fantastic getaway from the heat. We had two 18 y.os. with us and they had a blast! They played in the water and kayaked the lake in the calm evening. Bring bug spray when you sit outside. The flies were biting!

Great getaway on Lake Huron

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was beautiful, tucked away along the waterfront, but still an easy drive to mutiple small populated towns for groceries, gift shops, etc. Beautiful views, well equipped and clean, and overall a really lovely little beach house!

Vacation

We loved staying at this beautiful home. The lake is amazing. It's a sandy bottom beach that is easy to walk in. Not too deep and the kids swam for hours. We shopped in St Ignice, but the grocery store a town over- Cederville - looked like it would have fit our needs. It was a memorable trip!

Relaxing, private, lakeside retreat

Our family had a wonderful time relaxing together at this beachside home. The home was well-stocked with the needed items. You can hear the waves from the house when you open the sliding glass doors onto the big deck. The kids loved catching tadpoles in the creek next to the beach. We spent long days playing on the beach and enjoying the view. It was wonderful having our own beach…and even better that there was no house on the left side of the house…and the neighbor to the right kept to themselves. The privacy and lovely nature scape was just what we needed. You can see a million stars at night while enjoying a campfire and listening to the waves. (You will definitely want to load up on mosquito spray, as there is no shortage of them.) one of the days we went to Detour Village and enjoyed a cute little gift shop and a pizza place, walked along the marina, and watched the ferry go to Drummond Island. We definitely recommend this rental.

Awesome Beach House!

Another great stay! This property is RIGHT on the beach. You are surrounded by sand and it's amazing. The house is well taken care of and fully stocked with everything you need (besides food). The beds are comfortable and clean fresh linens. Amy is a great host and always available if you need something. The WiFi is a major plus.

Beach house with toys to play and relax.

Perfect for relaxing, swimming and Kayaking. The weather was fantastic allowing us to take in everything the place could offer. The beach was clean and given the shallow waters allowed you walk out at least a couple hundred feet. Would be great for young ones. The availability of Kayaks and blow ups allowed the family to be very entertained. The House had everything we needed for our family which included ages up to 85.

Vacation

Long weekend stay in mid-November. Beautiful view of Lake Huron. Warm and cozy watching an early winter storm with high winds, angry waves and blowing snow. The next day the sun was shining on a peaceful lake in winter glory. The house fit all our needs. The entrance room before you enter the house is a great idea. Kitchen was well stocked, although we bring our own cooking items (every place is unpredictable). Beds were great. Quiet and peaceful. We would highly recommend this place...

Relaxing stay on the dunes

What a beautiful property. The walk across the sand dunes to get to the beach was fairly easy and the house is well equipped. Had an issue with a door handle and a shower, but the manager was very responsive. Would be nice to have some chairs to bring down to the beach, so bring your own. Overall, great stay. My 4 kids absolutely loved playing in the stream area

Amazing Beach

Perfect summer getaway. Had 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and two kids under 4 staying in the house. Everyone loved it. The beach was amazing. Sandy. One of the best beaches we have been to. The little river flowing into the lake was a perfect area for the little ones who don't know how to swim. Rooms were spacious and we had enough room with the 4 adults and 4 kids. The mudroom is perfect to allow the beachgoers to avoid getting sand in the house. TV was great with ability to watch streaming services on the couple rainy days. Close to downtown Cedarville and DeTour which are small, but have a couple good restaurants, bars. Quick drive to St. Ignace Ferry + Mackinaw. Will definite rent this again.

Amazing locale on Lake Huron…

This was an amazing rental, and Amy was so great! The beach was fabulous and my family very much enjoyed all there is to do in the local area…loved DeTour village, Drummond Island, the Soo Locks, and Whitefish Point. Great people, great views, and wonderful food.

Perfect Seclusion

The listing was just as advertised and PM was easy to reach and quick with responses. This was perfect for us to get away and be secluded while enjoying each other and the beach. Kitchen was stocked perfectly, there were fans in each room to help offset the lack of air (although it was cool in the evenings anyway) and there was even an extra air mattress so the kids didn't have to share the same bed! Thank you for this amazing and much needed getaway!

Perfectly secluded beach getaway

We chose this property for the access to the beach and seclusion and we were not disappointed when we arrived! Home was just as described, communication was quick with the PM. Was bummed the equipment in the garage was not for use but I understand the need for a waiver... but we have stayed at homes before and signed a simple form and it really made the stay that much more memorable! That is my only, if any, suggestion :) We were about 2 1/2 hours from the Pictured Rocks and took a day trip there, the drive was super easy and quiet. This trip was perfect for what we wanted, which was time to unplug and just relax with our family. My tip for incoming visitors is that as soon as the sun goes down, the mosquitoes COME OUT despite bug spray so be prepared! We stayed out a few times to watch the moon rise so it was worth it. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Great Michigan UP beach house!

The house was amazing! Great views of the lake and beautiful house. Beds were comfortable and clean. We’ll definitely re-rent next year. Be warned the cell reception is spotty and while there is Wifi it is not the best. Perfect reason to put the phones down and enjoy family time.

A Very Happy New Year!

Absolutely wonderful experience!! The property is beautiful, inside and out!! What an amazing view! Sitting by the big gas fireplace and watching the snow and waves outside was just incredible. The local host was fantastic and responded quickly to any questions we had. Amy is awesome!! The owners checked in to make sure we were happy and comfy. It was truly a pleasure and we highly recommend it! Will probably look to come back and enjoy it in the summer time!!
