The Space:
Claim your own piece of paradise this season with a stay at Days Ease! Set in a quiet neighborhood, this four-bedroom home overlooks Schoolhouse Pond and is an easy, half-mile stroll along the sidewalk to Brewster Village Marketplace for sandwiches and Brewster Ladies Library for the latest summer beach read. Less than a mile away, stock up on souvenirs at the historic Brewster General Store and amble next door for an ice cream sundae at The Brewster Scoop. You could spend the whole day beach-going, biking, walking, and visiting nearby attractions, including the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, the Stony Brook Grist Mill and Museum, and the herring run. Or, you could kick back and relax at the house. The home features three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor: a room with two twin beds, another with a queen bed, and the master suite with a queen bed, en suite bath and its own entrance to the backyard deck. The fourth bedroom is located in the basement and has two twin beds and a private entrance that leads to a backyard patio area and an outdoor shower.
A short walk down a wooded pathway will bring you to the home’s private dock on Schoolhouse Pond, where you can launch your kayak or canoe rentals. Lounge lawnside in a hammock, play board games in the living room, or foosball in the basement. But, don’t forget to end your day with a sunset dinner on the large backyard deck. You are also within biking distance to bayside Paine’s Creek Beach (2 miles), Sheep Pond (3 miles) and the Cape Cod Rail Trail on Underpass Road (2 miles).

Oysterfest

This was an adorable house hidden away in a quiet, secluded neighborhood, which is exactly what we wanted. It sat on the adorable pond where after a day at oyster fest we were able to go kayak to relax. Always love renting from Delmar. They do such a great job and their homes are always meticulously clean.

The house was very nice and clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. It was centrally located to all that the Cape has to offer. The rental company, Del Mar Vacations, was very responsive. I highly recommend this place and am looking forward to coming back.

Beautiful, well-appointed home

The perfect, central, location to explore Wellfleet, P-town and Chatham by bike and by foot! The house had absolutely the best equipped kitchen of any property I have stayed in and we enjoyed using it after a long day of exercise!

Clean beautiful property and convenient location

We stayed for seven nights (4 adults + 2 kids) with a pet dog. The house is very clean and has all we needed for laundry, cooking,etc. Everyone had a great time. Our dog also enjoyed running in the nearby dog park. As the family driver I also appreciated the location which doesn't take long to get to either end of the cape cod.

Great Location! Just as advertised

Our family had a very lovely stay over school vacation week. The house seemed even more spacious than the pictures suggested, very bright and cheery. The bed in the master bedroom was quite comfortable, and the house is well equipped. The pond access was great, and we loved taking the kayak out on the water. Location is very convenient to so many Cape destinations, including plenty of good food in Brewster and Orleans.

Family weekend

Clean, bright, comfortable. Beautiful, quiet, just see the woods and pond out the back - great chance to be in nature. Great to have the space downstairs for our older child to have a bit more space. Loved our stay. Kitchen well equipped. We and the kids loved using the kayaks. Thanks for having the life jackets there! We hope to get to return. It was peaceful and fun.

Lovely stay for 2 couples

We were the first to stay, and we had a lovely time! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pans/dishes we needed to cook some delicious meals. The porch was delightful and had a great view of the lake (and you could walk down to a little dock). It was spacious enough for at least 2 more people, but a good space for 4. The open concept meant someone could cook, and a few could sit at the table, and a few in the living room, but you'd all feel together. We were a 5 min drive to the beach, so we went for a walk. Would definitely stay again!

March Getaway in Cape Cod

This home in Brewster was lovely and worked perfectly for my sister and me and my small labradoodle. The beds were very comfortable and we each had a bathroom. The remainder of the house was open and roomy and meticulously clean. The kitchen appeared well stocked though we enjoyed delicious take out from nearby restaurants. The location is lovely and would be even nicer in warmer weather when you could sit outside on the deck overlooking the pond for morning coffee. The only drawback for me was that you couldn’t really walk from the location, however we quickly located nearby beaches and hiking locations to get in a daily walk.

Picture Perfect Cape Getaway

We spent 3 nights here and had a fantastic time. House is just as described. Very clean, bright, sunny, comfortable furniture, great kitchen and gorgeous deck. We were able to see the pond clearly before the leaves pop out. We lucked out with beautiful weather and enjoyed being outside. We biked on the rail trail to Orleans for lunch and back and hiked/walked many of the nearby trails. The beaches are only a mile a way and great. Favorites for food - JT's, both dinner and ice cream and the Snowy Owl Roastery. Between being early in the season and Covid - only a few places were open. But the kitchen is a great place to cook and eat at home. :) We would highly recommend this home and hope to return.

Relaxing quiet hideaway

There were many positives about the house: the open living/dining area, the cleanliness, the large deck and well stocked kitchen. It is in a quiet neighborhood near many attractions. I would say that this is really a three bedroom house, only for two couples and an extra bedroom with twin beds for kids. These three bedrooms and living space are all on one floor of the ranch. The fourth bedroom is in a dank unfinished basement with a very strong moldy smell. The washer dryer are down there so we did use it but didn’t want to stick around. Secondly, the trees and shrubs are so overgrown you cannot even see the pond. We thought we had picked a waterfront house with a view! Despite the disappointment of that, we had a lovely time. The grill was wonderful and we enjoyed lovely meals out on the deck.

A pleasant stay

We had a pleasant stay here - the porch is spacious, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the place is central in Brewster. That said, this is not a luxury property -- it's more suburban ranch than beachy vacation home, and the 4th bedroom is at the far end of an unfinished basement. Overall, the house is comfortable, but not the best value for the money.
