Great Cabin!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for us and our dog. It was clean, cozy, and in a great location. It was very pet friendly, even including an emergency pet hospital number which we ended up needing (she’s okay!) We would definitely stay here again!

Absolute perfection

We were searching for the perfect pet-friendly getaway, and WOW, did we find it! From the moment we stepped inside, my husband was absolutely thrilled. The cabin exceeded all of our expectations, but what really stood out was the secure fencing! Our older dog is quite the escape artist, and she immediately went on patrol, inspecting every inch of the fence and testing all the gates. To my delight, she remained safely contained throughout our entire stay. My husband enjoyed it so much that he suggested we come back every month! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

We'll book it again!

Cabin exceed expectations, great location to be away, clean, organize, and everything just like is described. Cozy and quiet place to spend time away. All amenities are there, we enjoyed nthe fire place very much. We'll definitely book the same place. The fenced yard for our dogs was a 10+

Cheery Dog is A Puppy Palace!

Call us crazy. We have a very active 6-month-old sheltie but we wanted to get away to the mountains from steamy Central Florida for a week. We searched for a cabin that was pet-friendly—but never imagined one THIS pet-friendly. We found Cheery Dog on VRBO and booked. It was the only cabin in our budget with a bona fide fenced-in yard! Look, puppies are unpredictable, even on a leash. The cabin was tucked away from traffic, secreted in the woods, had a gate protecting the passage into and out of the cabin - and - the best of all - motion security lights - on the parking area, entry walk to the front porch, and one focused on the fenced yard. The yard was also ringed with string lights adding a special glow to the woods. We did not use the fire pit or the picnic table. But thought, "This place is magic. It's tailor-made for puppy safety." Out of sheer respect (some cabin owners require it) don't forget to bring a travel carrier for your dog to bunk down inside the cabin! On caveat though, descending the steps to the penned yard can be a bit perilous - lose stones slide underfoot on the unevenly spaced steps. Just take your time on this part. The rest of the adorable cabin and amenities are set up for a comfortable stay. We loved it and Lindy the sheltie gave it two paws up. '-)

We love the cabin. The silence and peace were much needed. I recently went on a self guided tour of Atlanta Tiny Doors. I had to laught when I saw the tiny door on the tree at the cabin!!!

Great cabin for family time

The cabin was perfect for four adults. My husband and I were able to spend quality time with our adult son and his fiancée as an early Christmas celebration. The kitchen is well-stocked and the entire cabin was comfortable and cozy.

It was very relaxing and the beds were comfortable sitting outside on the rocking chairs and swing when we first arrived and it was sunny ,was wonderful The road up to the cabin was narrow with many bends, but the other cabin drivers were careful when we were passing each other. But I would avoid driving up; there in the dark for anybody unfamiliar with the place. We had no problem in following the instructions on finding the cabin, We plan to stay in the cabin again in the future. we are both seniors
