Luxurious, stylish, cosy and clean - Eco living and non smoking village

Feel your stresses melting away as you arrive into our unique village. As soon as you arrive at your north facing Fleurieu Eco Escape, you will start to smile and relax. Walk up your own path through the beautiful garden into your haven. We are just next door to you should you need us; we share a roof but your access and space are completely seperate to us.

The super comfortable queen size bed has high quality sheets and a king size duvet to snuggle under. Lots of thoughtful extras will make your life easier and your stay so much more enjoyable. You will find fluffy bathrobes, slippers, electric blankets, bedside lights and chocolates on your pillow plus more! You’ll love our breakfast provisions; these include 3 types of milk (cow, oat and almond), eggs from our own chickens and jam. We have a Nespresso pod machine and a plunger; we understand how important good coffee is! Gluten Free crunchy granola, Carmens Porridge and hot chocolate are also offered.

We built this place using passive solar design; windows, walls, floors and shading are designed to collect, store, reflect, and distribute solar energy, in the form of heat in the winter and reject solar heat in the summer to make it more comfortable to live in whilst using less energy. Hot water and power all come from the sun and we have rainwater (fully filtered). Your room is north facing and has lots of thermal mass from handmade earth bricks and sandstone floor tiles; these help to regulate the temperature without using energy; ceiling fan and reverse cycle air conditioning are available.

Please note that whilst you have a separate path and entrance, you share an internal wall with our family home; this is not a stand alone property and some daily living noises may be heard at times during the day.

Wander though our stunning, sleepy village; marvel at the many different styles of houses and gardens and, throughout your stay and enjoy the different birds. Strongly No smoking - extra $500 cleaning fee will be charged if you do; sadly we have been burned in the past

Best three days ever
We absolutely adored our stay ! Very clean and very well equipped. The extra touches Jacqui provided made our stay even more special. Would definitely come back again- highly recommended. A little piece of paradise that’s for sure. The serenity and beautiful garden certainly made us feel relaxed yet we only a few minutes walk away from everything we wanted. The property was very stylish and clean. We had a quiet and relaxing time at the villa for two nights. The owner was very responsive and left for us freshly baked bread, good quality fresh eggs and home made jam and dukkah which were really delicious. There were plenty of cereal and condiments for our breakfast too. We really liked the pod coffee machine which made great coffee to complement our breakfast. We would love to come back the villa again if we will stay in Aldinga.

Wow, it amazed us about the property and the community. The property is in an eco-village, everything is recycled, quiet, and beautiful. The owner dropped by and we had a lovely chat, very friendly and so much thought went into this property. It is close to the beach and the wineries. This must be one of the best holiday homes I have stayed at. Beautifully designed in every way. Lovely garden, special touches eg home baked bread, croissants, home made jam and delicious dukka. Amazing Stay
The property was very clean and well presented. Jacqui is a wonderful host and she has thought of everything….even supplying beautiful breakfasts, including her yummy home baked bread, and her delicious dukkah! The location is great, being in a a very quiet friendly community, and just a short walk into the township centre and about 15 minutes walk to the gorgeous Port Willunga Beach. This little place has everything you need plus more. The warmth of the homemade bread on arrival was bonus. The surrounding wasn’t what we were expecting. An utterly magical experience
From the moment I arrived at Jacqui's place I had a sense of coming home. Her care and attention to detail was evident in everything - from the welcome bread, olive oil and dukkha (her specialty) to the supremely comfortable bed and chairs. The chairs outside in the front garden became my watching party of birds and other creatures. I slept 12 hours the first night I arrived, after a swim in the sea a short distance away. Jacqui is the best host, being always available for advice and with maps and brochures for restaurants and day trips. She is also very respectful of privacy and the whole place is quiet and conducive to rest. There's a gelato bar, second hand bookshop and coffee caravan the at the front of the eco village, which is is an immersion experience in sustainable living. I can't wait to return to Jacqui's place and to this village.

A quiet recluse
We love Port Willunga and Aldinga and have spent much time staying or visiting there with walking, beaching, lunching and being with friends over many years. The weather was chilly, even in December, so walks were the schedule. The beach, the wetlands, the scrub and the area around the Eco Village provided our walks. Jacqui has provided beautiful extras to our stay. Thankyou
