Lots of issues that aren't being fixed because rental is for sale
We were two families staying in this unit for a long weekend, and were sadly disappointed by the conditions of the rental. It was very outdated, and things were broken, but the property management company isn't interested in fixing them because they unit is on the market to be sold. The check-in process was complicated (you have to go to their office in town and return keys there too). We've stayed in 4 VRBO's this year, and this was the only one that did not meet or exceed our expectations. We contacted them with a laundry list of issues which weren't addressed during our stay -- e.g., 1) Refrigerator with broken ice maker 2) No screens or broken screens on windows -- this was an issue because they don't have A/C so you have to open the windows for air. 3) No fans in 3 of 4 bedrooms -- every VRBO rental I've ever stayed in had some sort of fan or box fan for each bedroom. They refused to supply this, even without A/C. 4) Humidifiers provided have clearly never been cleaned and were moldy, we were told they'd be available, but ultimately they were unusable. 5) Dirty comforters on a couple of the kids bunk beds. It seemed like they hadn't changed some of the bunk bedding in months. They did come and take the comforters but did not replace them. 7) Old gas oven smelled very strongly of propane when in use 8) Blinds and lamp that didn't work in the kids' bunk room

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A really good experience, mainly because of location and the Wood Winds Property Mgmt gals we worked with. We were seven guys and the unit was ideal in size, location and number of beds. We found a couple problems, but Wood Winds' priority was our satisfaction and happiness. Some of the mattresses had some age on them and the kitchen supplies could use some upgrading, but all in all, it was a great stay. If/when we come back to Breckenridge, returning here will be our goal.

Fab easy slopes access condo
The condo was perfectly located to the slopes, a short walk to the lift. There was no dust or dirt - which is great for those with allergies! As stated in other reviews, the beds were uncomfortable, the kitchen was not well equipped (no dish strainer, no pot lids, no pot holders, electric can opener barely worked, etc.) the garage door code did not work. But the location, the amount of room and the cleanliness were great. The pool and hot tub nearby and proximity to Breck dining also clutch. (Bring flip flops for pool/hottub)

The location is awesome, the place is spacious for sharing with family and the host was very prompt with communication. As other reviews stated, this place is a little dated and needs some repairs, but was a great spot for us with family and the location was what we cared about most. We'd definitely come back!

Rental needs to be cleaned up and repaired before renting again…also, the listing needs to communicate that the condo has numerous stairs throughout and folks renting need to bring their own kitchen supplies…pots, pans, glasses etc.

Reviewer Comments: Our group of friends have been coming to Breck for 25 years and have rented this condo three times...This unit is truly ski in/ski out and an easy walk to all of the restaurants, shops and pubs on Main Street. For the location alone, this place gets 4 stars and it wouldn’t take much to make it 5 stars.The main bolt on the garage door is unusable with a key and the back door lock is a bit suspect too, the kitchen faucet definitely needs to be replaced, the knives were compared to cutting with a ruler, the toilet for the “bunk bed” bathroom is about to rock off it’s bolts, the furniture is in rough shape and there were 4 spoons for a 4 bedroom condo. A little TLC could easily make this a 5 star rating.Saying all of that, we will easily rent this unit again...you can’t beat The Cedars for their location!

Amazing Location
This was the perfect location for our ski vacation with young children. Short walk to the village ski school pick up and drop off and true ski in/ski out. We were able to easily walk to town for dinner and the grocery store was a short drive away. We would definitely stay again. As previous reviews mention, the furniture and beds are well-used, but serviceable. Kitchen worked well for our family meals. Overall, we loved our stay.

Great location but a few issues
We had some difficulties during our stay even though we enjoyed the location of the property. The water alarm went off, we had fire alarm issues. One of the beds is being held up by a upside down cooking pot. We got a parking ticket even though we had the pass in the vehicle- but they later fixed that. The upstairs bedroom was 85 degrees, so quite miserable.

Great Location, needs to be updated
The location as a ski in ski out condo was awesome. It made the skiing very convenient. The condo needs some updating. This was a trip with mostly guys so we don't really care about the decorations or the style but at the very least it needs some new mattresses. The bottom mattresses on the bunk beds seemed about 50 years old and not comfortable at all. Once again, the location was great and by far the best reason to book this condo.

Just the facts
The first thing we saw when we entered the unit, was the front door had been kicked in. The door frame was unattached and leaning against the wall. The door could not be dead bolted, the deadbolt was exposed and attaching to nothing. We decided to pay more so we could have a full kitchen and do all our cooking rather than eating out. On the first morning we had invited 3 family members for breakfast before the film festival. Food was prepped, I went to turn the stove on, and not one burner worked. Zero. We had to leave and grab a quick bite out, which is exactly what we planned NOT to do. They did fix it on this day, but not in time to save our breakfast plans. Other things like a kitchen door ajar at all times, fridge water dispenser not shutting off so us needing to clean the floor several times a day, a 1/2 glass of water from a previous guest sitting on a shelf, clogged sink, and shower to tub function lever comes off in hand. All of these things seem like easy fixes, and should have been complete prior to allowing guests to stay in the unit.

The location is second to none in Breckenridge for ski access and access to town.
The townhouse is comfortable and well furnished with plenty of beds. The overall accommodations are comfortable but not luxurious. The decor is somewhat disturbing, with an outdoor animal/bear theme which is campy but a dominant Native American theme to the wall paintings and hangings that bordered on poor taste.
