Kitchen has an enormous island complete with barstool seating, 2 dishwashers, Bosch double oven, wet bar w/disposal, counter space, cabinets and drawers galore! You will be all set to prepare the most "master" chef inspired of meals or just throw a couple of pizzas in the double oven!

The Neighborhood:
Jamaica Beach is its own community located about 10 minutes from the heart of Galveston and is part of the island’s West End offering restaurants, grocery, and beach-worthy activities. Jamaica Beach has access to the Gulf side as well as the Bay side (house dependent) and also has its own fire and police department plus city park with pool. Jamaica Beach's boat launch is restricted. If you plan on bringing a boat, the closest public launch is at Waterman's off Stewart Road about 3 miles east of Jamaica Beach.

Come visit and enjoy ALL the outdoor adventures you could want! Watch dolphins, fish from the pier (or from one of our canal, bay or beachside rental homes), surf the waves, kayak, beach comb and soak up the sun and sea air. And after a day of activities, stop by one of the nearby popular hangouts - The West End Marina & Restaurants, The Waterman Seafood Grill and/or Cafe Michael Burger for a fun atmosphere to enjoy snacks, cocktails or meal!

Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!
979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 Vacation Property Services rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance of check-in. Please send inquiry and details if your stay if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1,000,000 liability protection and $10,000 damage insurance - No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
For any new reservation, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations.
After that, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less the booking fee.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels such as Airbnb, VRBO, TripAdvisor, etc may be subject to their terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. Please reference the site where you originally reserved your stay.
*NOTE: Absolutely No Prom, Graduation or other large (more than the max occupancy) parties/events permitted. Max # house sleeps (occupancy) = max # of Guests allowed on property at any time. Thank you.
