H207A owners have installed two brand name Big Ass ceiling fans in the living room and primary bedroom. The manufacturer claims the fans move air up through ultraviolet light (“UV”) at the fan hubs and that UV light kills 99% of virus loads in the circulating air. If true, that claim may provide some additional comfort these days. Meanwhile, the fans have small white remote controls that allow speed changes and on/off switching. The fans should help circulate warm or conditioned air, especially when afternoon sun is present. Please leave the controllers where you find them.
Howelsen Place is THE address of Old Town Steamboat. Located at the site of the famous Harbor Hotel at 7th and Lincoln, this property captures the historical significance of ski jumping by introducing a bronze statue of Carl Howelsen, the one-time world record holder for ski jumping and prominent, turn of the century Steamboat Springs resident. Discover what the locals already know. Park your car, ride you bike or walk to where it's happening; restaurants, shops, movies, you name it. When you stay in the heart of downtown you have easy access to almost everything, and the free city bus can whisk you to the mountain during ski season.
