Walking into Braggy's takes your breath away.

Just metres from the shoreline this gorgeous holiday home is mood changing and you will feel it the minute you walk in the door.

Winter is beautiful here, the house faces north so there is plenty of warm sunshine streaming in to warm you up as you cuddle up on the outside lounge whilst gazing out to sea.

Point Souttar is located 2 1/2 hours from Adelaide and 8 km on a dirt road from Point Turton on the Yorke Peninsula.

This lovely holiday home boasts a expansive deck on the beach with a large 8 person outdoor table overlooking the water, a separate gazebo to watch the dolphins swim by and 'all weather' covered area with a cane lounge to sit and relax.

The beach has rocky and sandy areas for sand castle building or hunting for baby crabs. Straight out the front the snorkeling is another world, in the shallows there are wonderful under water reefs, inquisitive fish schools and beautiful marine life.

It is a tightly held group of just 5 beach houses (seldom occupied off peak) 100 metres off the Main North Coast Rd.

For the fishing enthusiast there is a kayak supplied or you might have your own tinny to launch straight out the front. This is Squid and King George Whiting territory !!!!
You may however wish to simply sit on the deck with your favorite beverage and watch the dolphins and occasional seal go by.

The 3 bedrooms comfortably sleep 8.

Bed 1 is in the house with a king size bed.
Bed 2 and 3 are separate to the main house and only 5 steps undercover from the back door.
Bed 2 has a King size bed, ceiling fan and r/c air-con.
Bed 3 has a Double bed and a Twin Bunk bed, ceiling fan and r/c air-con.

Many of the cupboards are locked for our private use.

Inside you can relax into the beautiful cream leather lounge and chill out with your favorite music on a Bose System, watch TV or perhaps sit at the dining table watching the local fisherman in their boats.

The Kitchen is well appointed and has a large 2 door fridge/freezer, microwave, induction cook-top and oven.
Included is a coffee machine and frother along with all the necessary utensils to cook up a storm.

The gas BBQ and Charcoal Webber Kettle is outside undercover.

Terrific Spit

The house is in a tremendous spot as per the pictures- right on the water. It has everything that you want in a beach house. We enjoyed Berry Bay, a short drive away. The kayak supplied was useful, I caught 12 squid in first 12casts so good strike rate. Glenn and Gaye were very easy to deal with.

Point Souttar stay

Beautiful sea views in an ultra comfortable home. The amazing deck and adjoining section with comfy lounges was special and the perfect spot to see passing dolphins and bird life ä plenty. The hosts attention to detail and cleanliness was second to none. A perfect getaway in an idyllic location.

Breathtaking

Braggys was one of the most comfortable, relaxing stays we have ever experienced! The moment we stepped through the door the stunning ocean view grabbed us and took our breath away. We soon found that Happy Hour on the deck each day would be very special, watching dolphins and seals make their way up the coast. The home itself was spacious/open plan and super clean. Our King sized bed was extremely comfortable as we drifted off to sleep each night listening to the waves lap the shore. The house had so many extras including a kayak which we used to catch squid. The chickens provided us with 3 freshly laid eggs every morning & we enjoyed hand feeding the friendly sleepy lizards. We loved absolutely everything about this place and wish we could have stayed longer than our 4 nights. A huge “Thank you” to Glenn & Gaye - you are wonderful hosts that made our stay truly memorable… Derek & Sandra

Idyllic getaway

Braggy's house was simply the best! Imagine waking up and looking accross your bed to the beautiful sea - I felt I could walk on water! Glenn, Gaye and Dior's house had everything you needed - the best coffee machine(so dont forget to bring your best beans), all the condiments and utensils, bbq, the comfortablist lounges, outdoor lounge and tables! the views were amazing - we had dolphins, performing seals and on our last day a whale! The kids(2-16) loved it- forgot screens though there were many apps to choose from - spending the days either at the incredible chicken coop(they could feed the chooks, collect eggs)kayaking(included), games, duplo and best for all was the freedom of being able to wander directly down infront of the house to forage amonst the rocks for treasures and crab sightings - so good the parents either joined them or could watch from the balcony. We had all the mod cons, indoor and outdoor tables for dinning and game playing, mood lighting,heated towel racks, fresh herbs if youre into cooking and even lemon trees!! And the tranquilty of the house with its view made each day so special - it was breathtaking! we are definitely booking in again!

A little touch of paradise

We absolutely loved our stay. Being right on the beach was magical. We loved the set up - an outdoor lounge with blinds for weather protection, an expansive deck for sitting to have our meals and admire the view, as well as a little gazebo to sit under to watch the copious dolphins swim past. On top of this, we enjoyed collecting eggs for our breakfasts from the chooks and fresh herbs from the garden. It was a most relaxing experience and really is a little touch of paradise. Thank you.

The benefits of this beautiful Beach House are the tranquility and privacy of being away from a heavily populated holiday town.

You are able to enjoy a unique absolute beach front setting at sea level, no steps down to the beach and surrounded by trees and bushes on the property.

The gazebo situated on the beach has an all weather roof for both hot lazy summer days to enjoy the cool ocean breeze and for the balmy winter days to be protected from the chilling southerly winds, whilst sitting there with a coffee rugged up being protected by the rain overlooking beautiful Spencer Gulf.

We are fussy 'self confessed' clean freaks and do the cleaning mostly ourselves.
