Downtown Fruita Location! Come experience the small town, mountain bike, community of Fruita, CO. Walk to nearby local favorites such as, Hot Tomato, Camilla's Cafe, and Copper Club Brewery. Bring your bike and explore the many trails Fruita has to offer. With a vision to restore an early 1900's hotel with a modern twist, we've created a modern funky vibe, while keeping historic elements in every unit. Old bones but modern amenities like extremely fast WIFI and mini split heating/cooling.

This building was one of the first hotels in Fruita in the 1900's, formally known as The White House Hotel. Our goal during renovations was to keep historic elements, while blending modern funky design and modern amenities for guests comfort. Original trim work lines the halls and original hotel doors were refurbished into closet barn sliding doors. Newly renovated with historic and modern elements makes this property truly unique.
Uniquely renovated 1 bed 1 bath apartment with kitchenette. Kitchenette includes double burner, convection oven and microwave oven for cooking. Oversized mini fridge provides freezer and extra refrigerator storage for your goods.

Great location, exactly as depicted on-line. 11 minutes to awesome mountain biking! Very clean and well stocked for a small space! Enjoyed walking to local restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Will be back.

Birthday, Bikes, and Brews

Came down from Summit Co. to enjoy some spring weather, ride a few of Fruita's famous trails, and celebrate my buddy's birthday. The Down Uppity fit the bill perfectly. Smack in the heart of town, walking distance to anything you'd need. Groceries, bike shops, bakeries, coffee, and the many and delicious food&drink options. The local breweries being our go-to for after ride beers and dinner. This primarily being a mtn biking trip, having the bike storage was a super nice bonus. Plenty of room for a dozen+ bikes, lender tools, even a fridge to keep your bevvies cool while wrenching on your ride. Plus, the peace of mind of having our bikes in a secure space without having to clutter up our place with them.. This along with being a stone's throw from 18 road trails, made it the perfect basecamp. The property itself was clean, well kept and quite charming. Same with our unit, honestly nicer than even the description or pictures. The only drawbacks I can even think of would be the second bed is a fold down couch, so don't expect luxury from it. We knew this going in. Totally does the job though and if you're a couple who doesn't need the extra bed, you'll be living large. The only other heads-up I'd give would be that the unit refrigerator is small, think one notch up from mini-fridge. But, again, it totally fit everything we needed it to, and being real, we came to enjoy the local establishments, not cook&clean. Just a great stay in general. We'll definitely be back.

Great little property w/in walking distance of food, drinks, bike shops, and grocery stores. The kitchenette was great to have! Only complaint is that the bed was a little hard for my preferences.

Perfect little place for MTB trip

We were able to walk to the bike shop, coffee shop, and restaurants, which was so nice! It was a short drive to Loma trails, and had everything we needed for an awesome weekend of riding.

Nice time in Fruita

Very clean and convenient location. Easy to get to downtown, great bike storage. The unit is definately small and there little space to store personal belongings. A few extra shelves in bathroom and kitchen would be helpful. Decent for a short stay, but would be a bit combersome for a longer stint.

Walking distance to restaurants , breweries, groceries, and bike shops. 20 minute drive to 18 Road trails and 10 minutes to Kokopelli trailhead. Perfect for my 12 yr old son and I. We will be back.

Great little apartment within walking distance from all the downtown fun that Fruita has to offer and for use as a base camp for all the exploration the area has to offer! Very cute Lee appointed with all the kitchen needs to make a quick meal or pack a lunch for your day out exploring!

Was there for a mountain biking trip and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, really appreciate the secure bike parking. Property has very spacious interior (just me, but still would have been roomy for 2-3). Had a slight problem blowing a fuse when trying to use double burner, but hosts were very quick to resolve and I'm sure will follow up on what the issue was. Location perfect as well, short walk to downtown food, coffee, or whatever else you might need. Short, easy drive to Loma or 18rd for biking

Pet-friendly, clean unit in downtown Fruita

Perfect home-base for a few days of hiking and relaxing. The unit was perfectly situated in town, only about a block from downtown. It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere. Thank you for being pet-friendly :) The dog yard was greatly appreciated.
