Splish Splash - Sunset and Lazy River Views!

Make your memories here! The sunsets over the bay from the large private balcony are absolutely breathtaking! This condo is bright, cheerful, beachy, and just a really spiffy condo! This one is perfect for everyone! It's on the first floor right in from of the lazy river which is heated in the winter. It has wood tile floors, features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and covered parking with an elevator.

- Families, let the little ones play on the splash pads or float them along on the lazy river. There are weekend crafts and activities for the kiddos as well.
- Birders, relax on the large private balcony and watch Roseate Spoonbills, Egrets, and Herons in their wetland's natural habitat
- Fisherman, the bay is only 12-18 inches deep- you can wade right out close to the condo
- Couples, enjoy the privacy of your own rooms to retire to at night after a day of enjoying the community together
- Maximum two pets up to 25 lbs each considered with fee. Approval of pets is at the sole discretion of the property manager.

Cancellation: Guest receives 100% (Of what was paid minus the cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 90 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (Of what was paid minus cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds.

This condo is located in the upscale Pointe West community on the bayside and is next to Coastal Waves Vacations rental called Sunset Paradise. Reserve both for larger groups.

Pointe West Beach Club

Spend a wonderful day at the pool or beach at the luxurious Pointe West Beach Club. Pointe West offers numerous amenities including, an infinity pool, a children's pool, a lazy river (heated in the winter), a fitness center, concierge service, beach rentals, a gift shop, and a restaurant. The Resort is independently run and charges $25 per person, (4 years or older). The use of the Beach Club is optional. The access fee is paid by credit card or cash directly to the Beach Club and is not included in rental rates.

The community is easily walkable. Golf Carts are a great way to get around as well. However, golf carts dune buggies, or any other types are vehicle are not allowed on Galveston beaches, dunes, or wetlands; this is city law!

Terrible Service

Terrible service with coastal vacations. AC broke the first night. No number to call bc they close at 6. Did not get the after hours number until the second day. 81 degrees for the first night. They came and fixed the Ac only for it to break again that evening. They came at 9pm that night to fix. Left around 10pm. Called to express my concerns and Ian told me that is condo rentals and don’t book through them again.

Beautiful Condo!

My wife and I have stayed in several condos in Pointe West. Splash Splash is by far our favorite. Soothing decor, great set up, and quality amenities. The soft squishy bed was so comfortable. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Great Place on the West End

Great place to stay on the West End of the island. Well equipped and maintained. We had a group of 4 adults with 2 dogs, and the location is great for dog walking with beautifully maintained outdoor areas. Would definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

This is 100% the best place to stay on the whole island. We have stayed here two years in a row and absolutely love this condo. The location is perfect for families. Plenty of fun during the day and nice and quiet and night. I do not have enough good things to say about our experience with Costal Waves and this particular unit.

Nice condo!

We had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer! Pools were wonderful and we were able to sit on the balcony and listen to some live music near the pool which we really enjoyed. My only criticism would be they do need more bath towels and the sunset is a little obstructed by the pool house which I know is unavoidable. Also, I’d bring all food and snack for your trip. The restaurant at the BIG pool near the beach is currently closed therefore we were unable to get anything (besides a food truck outside) during our day at the pool. I think it will be open next month.

Great Family Getaway!

Great location on the west side of the island, quite and relaxing… just perfect for our family! Our girls loved being so close to the pool, watching the sunset from our porch and the condo felt like home for the week. We loved the Beachy decor, with the bay view from the back porch and beach side from the front porch! The chairs, boogie boards were an awesome surprise and pool floats for the lazy river! The electric grill on the back porch was a big added bonus… we would recommend this condo and location if you are looking for peaceful family time! Our girls are 9 & 12 and can’t wait to come back! We brought our own food which is a must (and perfect for us!)if you don’t want to venture 20-45 min to eat out… but is close enough for a fun day trip to the pleasure pier and touring a historic mansion. Close to lots of beach access! We will definitely be back! (The only down side is there wasn’t a TV in the master like we thought, but we’re told that was pictures from previous owners).

Great Place to Relax!

The apartment is as described. Very clean and neat. The only thing that we were not aware of is that the Beach House is a drive away, so it is the beach. We though the infinity pool and all the other amenities were in the same area but you have to drive to get there. However there is a smaller pool and a Jacuzzi right in front of the apartment. The other thing to Consider is that this location is not right in Galveston, it actually takes about 35 to 45 to get to all the down town where all the stores and restaurants are in Galveston. Close to this place there is only a gas station with a mini-market and a good restaurant. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was super clean and very well equipped with kitchen utensils and spices and other stuff. We would stay in the area again, probably in an unit closer to the Beach so we can just walk there.

Staycation in Galveston

I paid for 4 nights stay. We checked in on Sunday and were excited to go into the pool at our location. We were there about 30 minutes when we were asked to leave because we didn't have wrist bands. I was NEVER told I had to check in at Beach Club as a matter of fact the information I had said due to COVID to go straight to the unit. So we were very disappointed for that lack of information. One evening wasted because office had closed at 5pm. NEXT: The info I had was we were going during Low Season and tags were included. NOOOO they cost me $15 each, although the info in the Unit said $10 during High Season. NEXT: When I went to Beach Club for the bands they did not have me in their systemj! Therefore I went to Coastal Waves office ont he same floor and they were CLOSED! So I had to call the 800 # and tell them to enter me in the other system! Another hour wasted! Went back to Unit 102 AND the Pool was closed for maintenance until 6/17, which was my check-out date!!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL. We did go to the big pool later but and enjoyed the next few days but would have preferred the smaller pool in our complex because less people. I did not want crowds on this trip. CONCLUSION: The apartment is beautiful but the master bedroom mattress was way too soft (memory foan) and I have back issues so it didn't help. LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND CORRECT INFORMATION was the most disappointing part of the trip. I feel that I should receive minimum one nights refund! I do expect to get my $300 deposit back as we left the unit as were instructed (after I found the Check-Out sheet in a drawer).
