This place was amazing! The place was beautiful and clean everything we expected! You could see the ocean from the balcony and from the kitchen living room area. Short walk to the beach and many restaurants. Oak Island is a hidden gem. We love the area and would definitely rent again.

Return to Oak Island

Great value. While not directly on the beach, it is so close you can see the ocean and easily walk there with comforts in hand. So close is the walk that packing a cooler with food and drinks for an entire day was never necessary! This made our daily visits to the beach so simple. Since we have 3 children, I appreciated this so much! Since we don’t spend a great deal of time inside the condo, the size of it worked fine for us. However, it is good to note that the living and eating space is limited and so is the balcony (these things are clear in the photos of the listing so it was not a surprise to us). If you a balcony to linger upon during the early morning or evening, this may not be the place for you BUT, for our needs and budget, we were still very satisfied with the set-up. Our contact was very prompt in answering my communications and we loved that we were able to check in early which was unexpected. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and we found the laundry appliances worked very well. If you are a light sleeper, beware that the lights outside the unit are quite bright and stay on all night! The pool is an easily accessible perk and we enjoyed the break from the waters of the beach during a couple of rough days. Groceries and other necessary shopping is extremely close by! This area of Oak Island is peaceful, clean and beautiful and we plan to return! Thank you!

Great location and comfortable

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The TV was not great, but once we figured it out, we were able to make do. The microwave didn't work, but the stove was fine. The place was very clean, the bed and couch were super comfy. The balcony is not really much, it is so narrow that you barely can get out there. It does overlook the ocean and there is an elevator. The contact person was immediately responsive to us and so very nice and helpful. I would stay again for sure just because it is so close to everything and safe and quiet. There is a pool but we did not check it out because it was cold and not yet warm enough to swim. This unit is right by the beach and is walkable to many things including restaurants and grocery store.

Pleasant with complications

Roaches in building, fighting them everyday. TV was not connected and spent time trying to meet repair man. Mold on shower curtain and faulty light fixture. All was addressed and compensation was made. The area is nice but to rent more attention should be taken into property. Owner was very attentive and willing to help

Do not recommend

Condo was very dirty. Sheets and comforter in the master bedroom was clearly unwashed. Several roaches were seen in the condo. The floors were incredibly dirty, leaving our feet black/brown.

Great location!

Location was fantastic! Super close to beach access. Parking is very difficult to find, no way two cars can fit. I highly recommend the owner takes photos of parking spot or spots. We could only find one. It is not under the condos, but on the side of another building. Also, in information in condo it says there is a storage unit with beach stuff to use. States the storage is under the condo. It is no where to be found. I think the owner should also take a photo and explain where to find it! However, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back!

Spring break

Overall stay was just ok. Found out when arrived that pool was closed, this information was not in listing. Bathroom was not clean (hair in shower). Couch was dirty and dingy. Listing indicates beach chairs were provided so we didn’t bring any only to discover they didn’t have any. We talked to property manager who indicated if we bought some owner would reimburse, owner did not reimburse for chairs even though we left them at the house. View was nice and beds were comfortable.

Lovely weekend getaway

My wife and I enjoyed our stay this past weekend at this spacious condo. We love Oak Island and were happy to stumble upon this listing for a condo with a view of the ocean. The walk to the beach was only a few minutes and we were conveniently located nearby the places to shop and eat at on the island. I'm sure we will be returning in the future.

Nice Room, Great view

Got the room for my son and his family, they like the room, great veiw and location. I would recommend this room to anyone coming to the area. It is a great location, close to shopping and places to eat. Walking friendly room.

Weekend Getaway

Very Clean, well stocked, one block from beach as well as one block from great food! Nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Shower water was hot and good pressure. Condo is on third floor so know that there is an elevator for ease of carrying luggage. Check in Email was informative; would have been better with a map of the condo units with exact location to where your condo is as related to the multiple buildings AND where to park for those condos that do not have a spot under the buildings. Overall a great experience.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo.

The condo was clean and tidy. The view was fantastic! The walk to the beach was only about a block which was nice. The condo was in a very convenient location. We could walk to restaurants and the grocery store. We look forward to when we can go back again.

Clean and very convenient!

This condo was exactly what we were looking for! It’s just a short walk to the beach and you can see and hear the waves from the small balcony. We would definitely stay here again. It was very clean and had everything we needed.

Few things need work

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the condo is nice and spacious. But we couldn’t find any trash bags for kitchen, the ice maker didn’t work and the coffee maker still had the grounds and old coffee left in it.

What a view!

My husband and I rented this condo in order for us to look for a place for retirement. It was a perfect place to stay with a ocean view!…I could see and hear the waves from the balcony and it was just just the best sound ever! I was hoping that they had a unit for sale so we could buy one. The only downfall was that the air conditioner wasn’t working well. Had it set for the low 70’s and it was 78* most of the time. Sounded like the compressor wasn’t working. Also, the shower stall was very slippery. Should probably have some decals put on the floor to prevent slipping. Wish that there were more choices of restaurants around to go to. Overall, would definitely recommend this beautiful oasis of a place. It was very clean and spacious! When we arrived at the unit, couldn’t find our parking space so I texted the number given. They texted me back within minutes.
