Great for couples

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the privacy and space, nice furniture and location was great! The beds are hard and not very comfortable and I wish there had been an extra pillow or two. Only other negative comment would be the lack of toilet paper. We were only in the room for evenings but we all ran out of toilet paper for our three night stay. Overall, we definitely enjoyed the property, especially the hot tub. It is a great place and we would stay again with couples.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 5th time staying in the cottages at Margaritaville and this cottage was great. Didn't know we'd have an upstairs loft with big couch and TV, nice surprise! Pool and hot tub were spotless, kitchen was nicely appointed and entire home was very clean. The one thing we wished was different was the master bed downstairs. Wow, super firm and we couldn't sleep on it so we had to sleep upstairs. The pool alarm going in and out was not working but we did notify the front desk. We would stay in this cottage again, hopefully by then they'll have a new bed downstairs that's not like a board :-).

Lounge on the expansive deck, sip cocktails from your Margarita machine by the private pool, or stroll down to the salty rim beach pool for a sunset dip. ACE isn't what it used to be

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have rented with ACE a few times a year since 2020, and it seems like the service unfortunately has gone downhill. The past two times we stayed, the backyard pools were dirty. I had to call to have the pool cleaned. I THINK someone showed up to clean, but the pool was still dirty. The pool should be cleaned prior to guest arrival; I shouldn't have to call. And if I do need to call, the pool should be immaculate. It was so dirty. The neighboring houses had extremely clean pools, maybe they weren't ACE/Vstays houses? The folks at the front desk were cordial, never rude but they did not take care of the problem.

Swimming Fun in the Sun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the most part, our experience was awesome. We arrived and the cottage was clean and furnished. My family consisted of 5 adults and 3 children under 8., one of which is autistic. I say this because we chose this cottage because it had 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and the private pool. What I didn’t expect was that the front door that opened onto the street would not lock from the inside. I was told this was due to fire regulations. (Doesn’t make sense, as all motel room door for safety)The kitchen was furnished, but very sparsley. Very few cooking utensils and no kitchen towels and dish cloths. All of the beds need to have new supports. The downstairs bedroom is the worst, you roll to the middle of the bed no matter what you do. The others do the same but are not as bad as the downstairs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you’re looking for quiet and relaxation this is the place to stay. Upon checkin, I was given rum punch and fruit punch for the kids!!! The cottages are practically new, spacious, and extremely clean. There is a water park on the premises and their very own slingshot. This location is less than 30 minutes from the parks and it’s located in the middle of very good places to eat. Please treat the cottages like a timeshare whereas, you’re responsible for laundering your towels and sheets, they will not be replenished during your stay. There is a washer/dryer in the unit...I’m so glad I packed the pods. Overall, I rate this location and stay as a 10!

Reviewer Comments: We liked the property, however we paid extra for a private pool and jacuzzi that did not function properly for the entire duration of our stay (heater malfunctioned and heated pool to 104 degrees when it was turned on just for the jacuzzi). We spoke with the customer service desk via phone and in person multiple times and maintenance troubleshooted without success. It took 3 requests for the manager to finally respond and once he did he appeared annoyed and frustrated with us. All they did was credit back $222 which does not seem sufficient for the money we paid.

A few hiccups here & there

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, we were very satisfied. Cottage was cleaned beautifully and stocked minimally as we understood. Grocery store was just over a mile away, perfect for quick shopping. It took my family about a day to get used to the alarm on the door for the pool, while an annoyance; understand why it’s in place. Our second day we noticed our air conditioner was not working, we called maintenance and they got someone there right away. We thought it would be an easy fix, but we didn’t have air conditioning for 3 days. It was high 80s-90s outside and no difference inside. Sweating just sitting conditions, very uncomfortable and with kids so hard to deal. I was told we would be reimbursed for our troubles. We were, however; I was disappointed it wasn’t a more reasonable amount. I was nice with staff and never rude, just would have liked to see them understand we had 3 days of our trip that were very disappointing. We were on Sandy Toes, is pretty far from the main resort and pool. With kids, we drove closer to limit the amount of whining with walking all the way there. The atmosphere is great, while there were a lot of people in the cottages around us we were still able to relax and were never annoyed with noise. If refunded more for our troubles and them understanding more I would have already booked there again.
