Gut: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung, Zustand der Unterkunft und Kommunikation
This is a great location and very walkable to many cages, restaurants, bookstores, and Borges 1975 (jazz club and restaurant) that we frequented. The check-in process was easy and the hosts accommodated us to drop off our luggage early and receive a key while housekeeping was still preparing.
The walls are quite thin and a family lived in the unit across from ours. The whole building could have formerly been single floor apartments that were converted. The walls between the bedroom and kitchen also did not extend all the way up so be mindful of sound if you are staying as a couple - it is hard to isolate noise from the kitchen if someone is still sleeping.
Something also a little peculiar is that you need the card fob to even exit the building which felt a little dangerous even though I'm sure it's meant for security to keep strangers out. But what if there was an emergency and you couldn't evacuate the building without a key?
The kitchen had very bare essential cookware but we were able to prepare some breakfasts there and do laundry twice.
The pool was nice but it was so hot that we mostly spent our time in the air conditioned apartment when we weren't out exploring. The hosts were excellent with communication and followup and I felt taken care of.
