Known as one of the best spots for view on Kahshe Lake. Unique and picturesque property with 2 cottages on one acre of treed land. Both on the water with a long shoreline and panoramic views of Kahshe Lake!
The main blue cottage is a classic century-old rustic Muskoka log cabin with an expansive wrap-around deck. The interior is bright and inviting with wood and wicker furniture in the L-shaped sunroom, soft pastel-painted wood walls and floors throughout, and a comfortably furnished living area leading to 2 bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom.
The yellow A-frame guest cottage is just a path and a bridge away. It has its own deck, kitchenette, living area, 3-piece bathroom with a romantic candle chandelier hanging over the clawfoot tub, and a generous-sized loft bedroom.
Both cottages have access to the waterfront but the main cottage area will definitely be the place to spend family gatherings. There are so many places to choose from to settle into and relax all while taking in stunning panoramic views of the lake. The large L-shaped deck virtually hangs out over the lake along the front portion and the side has easy access to the sunroom and cottage. A few steps down off the main deck is a shaded second deck with more seating and island views. The large dock has plenty of room for the whole family to spend long sunny days basking in the sun after refreshing swims in the lake. The kids can catch small fish off of both sides of the dock or take the paddle boat out to the middle of the lake to catch larger fish. For the more athletically inclined you can swim to the island across the lake.
You can spend your endless hours in the fresh country air, end your evenings with an outdoor BBQ and watch the sunset and sky fill with endless stars. You may make day trips to local towns such as Gravenhurst or Bracebridge, which are within a 30-minute drive, seek adventure at Santa's Village theme park, or enjoy a steamboat tour on Lake Muskoka.
Price includes both cabins.
Renters need to bring their own sheets, blankets, pillows, bath towels.
Water in blue cabin is filtered and treated, but unsuitable for drinking. Bring spring water.
