Available by Luxury Beach Rentals, South Wind resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quiet family oriented section of the beach. This 4 bedroom penthouse suite on the 15 floor is oceanfront and offers spectacular views of the blue Atlantic. This condo offers two oceanfront master bedrooms, each with king beds and access to the huge oceanfront wrap around balcony. The master bath offers granite counter tops, double vanities, a large Jacuzzi tub, a separate shower and a walk-in closet as well as tile flooring. The third bedroom offers a queen bed and private bathroom. The fourth bedroom offers one queen bed and has a bathroom just outside the room also used as a common bath. Other features include smart TVs in every room, full sized washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, this condo creates a large and spacious stay for you and your guests. Activities onsite include the indoor and outdoor pool complex which includes a lazy river, 2 pools, 4 hot tubs and children’s splash pool all overlooking the beach along with a fitness center and tanning lawn.

Girls Trip (Sister-in-laws) Getaway

Came for a quick girls trip and enjoyed everything except the bedding. The only complaint that we all could agree on was that the sheets on the beds felt as if they had been starched. They were extremely stiff and almost crunchy to the touch. The inside of the comforters around the edging at the head of the bed didn’t look clean, like it had been used several times without washing. The reason I say this is due to discoloration noted there; yellowing of the fabric from skin/body secretions and sweat collecting over a long period of time of use without cleaning. When I got in bed, I didn’t want that part of the bedding to come in contact with my skin! Sleeping in a clean and cozy bed is essential to a good nights rest and aids in the relaxation process during that time. Overall, I would not choose this location again in the future due to this.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 had a great stay in this spacious condo. Definitely could use more lighting in the Queen bedrooms. Definitely could use an update in decor throughout the condo. That DID NOT impact our stay though. The pool roof indoor is under construction as well as the outdoor pool roofs. DID NOT impact our stay! Enjoyed being in the PENT HOUSE!! The main King bedroom with the soaker tub, the shower could use replacing as it definitely has mold and my allergies let me know besides visually seeing it along the bottom of the shower.

Family Thanksmas at the oceanfront condo

Condo is beautiful, clean and spacious. 4 Large bedrooms with their own bathroom. Very large table with 8 chairs for great together time! Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and condo is close to all attractions. Communications with management were timely and excellent. Would most definitely stay here again.

Great place!

We loved the penthouse! It had room for everyone, a great balcony, a great kitchen, and the washer and dryer were very convenient. We rented chairs and umbrellas on the beach and enjoyed the swimming pools and hot tubs. It was close to attractions and restaurants and we had a wonderful time.

Spacious oceanfront condo

The condo was very spacious. The living room had plenty of seating for friends. Although we didn't need it, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dinnerware and glassware. Very relaxing spot in the ocean and the beach were the best!

Kitchen and bathrooms were mostly clean.The not so good: condo is in desperate need of both normal and deep cleaning. Thick dust coated lamp shades; vents; and baseboards. Curtains and furniture had stains. Crumbs in bedroom drawers (why?). Floors were sticky and gritty feeling. Not decorated to my taste, very dark, but understand this is a personal preference. I would not stay at this condo again (especially for cost charged) but liked the complex and would consider a different unit

Nice unit overlooking the ocean

Great location, spacious apt, easy check in/check out... responsive management to all questions. Beach a few steps away. The feedback for improvement would be 1) updating the furniture and bathrooms. Most units I was researching in Myrtle looked the same in terms of interior... you could really stand out with a sleek, well designed interior layout and renovated bathrooms. 2) To be asked to strip the beds, wash all dishes, and gather all towels before check out , or pay a fine, is not what I expect when renting a penthouse. Overall, a good experience. With some modifications, this could be a go-to place when visiting Myrtle Beach.

Mirror in master had 💋 marks on them. Disppointed with cleansing that was done to prep PH. No stool provide in MB to get in bed very dangerous, had to purchase a srep stool.our 4th season at Southwind, first dissapointment.
