Hager House - Charming retreat downtown Burlington

Ideally located in the heart of downtown. Five minute walk from Brant Street, the quaint main street, lined with restaurants and shops. Blocks from the lakefront, Spencer Smith Park, Brant Street Pier and Performing Arts Centre. This newly furnished house has 3 bedrooms, 2 rooms have a queen bed and one has 2 twin beds, all with pure cotton white linen and towels. Kitchen is fully equipped. Smart TV's in living rooms. High speed wifi. Laundry. Beautiful backyard and patio with hot tub and bbq (BBQ and patio furniture are seasonal; hot tub is available year round). For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, the front door and driveway are monitored by an external security camera.

Beautifull Haus Nähe Toronto

Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen mit schöner Terrasse. Es fehlte an nichts. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, in der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen benötigt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Optimale Unterkunft

Wir hatten mit unserer Familie (Eltern und drei Kinder) einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hager Haus in Burlington. Die Ausstattung war optimal und es gab genügend Platz. Die schöne Veranda und den Whirlpool haben wir gerne genutzt.

Girls Weekend

Property was absolutely spotless, comfortable, included great amenities and fabulous location. Host was extremely attentive and quick at answering questions in the app. Easy to check in and check out. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

Very Comfortable Home

We stayed here for a couple of days while exploring Burlington and surrounding towns. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed! It was extra cold while we were there, so we really appreciated the hot tub and fireplace. We would definitely retur !

Fall in love with the Hager House

My friends and I for several years try to plan a getaway, and I usually take the responsibility to find THE place for us to stay. When we decided to go to Toronto/Niagara Falls, Hager House seemed ideal. We were so pleased when we arrived to find that we truly made the best choice for our weekend getaway! Martli welcomed us at the house and shared with us valuable info so we could make the most of our trip, especially about taking the train into Toronto (the station is very close!) It is a beautiful drive to Niagara, and on Martli's advice, we visited Niagara-on-the-Lake on the drive back from Niagara and found a great pub (The Olde Angel Inn.) We then went to Queen's Royal Park walked along the shore afterwards with great views of Toronto. Each night after walking all day, we enjoyed tea by the fireplace and then the hot tub (one of the reasons we picked this house!). On our last morning, we walked to Lake Ontario (less than a mile) and enjoyed the fall colors and beautiful neighborhood along the way. Kitchen is well equipped, and we loved having 3 bathrooms. Close to shopping. We ended up going to Longos and we looked forward to going back to Hager House, we only ate out once. We could tell that Martli is passionate about making her house the best, and we agree! We are definitely recommending this great house to friends and family that wish to stay in style while visiting Burlington, Toronto and Niagara Falls.

Lovely home in a beautiful setting!

We found this little home to be perfect for our family stay while in town for a wedding. It is exactly as the pictures depict, well equipped, very clean, central to everything and in a safe neighborhood. The Host was super responsive and very pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay and will definately pick it again next time we are in town.

Charming and Comfortable

I was traveling with my parents for a family wedding. It was a comfortable home with a lovely deck and spa. The living area is comfortable and the host left various conveniences in the home, coffee, tea, sugar, creamers, extra paper products, bags for garbage and food waste, and ample toiletries including shampoo and conditioner. The house was clean and well organized and close to downtown Burlington in a quiet neighborhood.

Heavenly Hager House

Our stay at Hager House could not have been more perfect! We stayed there with our son, daughter in law, and their 2 sons aged 1 and 3. The house was spotless and very well equipped! We all loved the beautiful yard and the adults were particularly appreciative of the hot tub. The open floor plan on the main floor was bright and functional and the 2 separate sleeping areas on the upper and lower levels worked perfectly for us. Communication with Martli was always prompt and helpful. Check in was a breeze! We would not hesitate to book Hager House again and highly recommend it as a great place to stay in a lovely area of Burlington.

Beautiful home in a great location.

The host was quick to respond with any questions about transportation and things to do in the area. We used the GoTrain to visit Toronto and the Falls. The home was perfect for our family (+1 friend). We had our own space to relax after touring around. We didn't use the kitchen to much, as there was great take out close to the house. The check out instructions were clear and easy. We would love.to.come back!

Perfect for Our Needs

We arrived and were met by our host who graciously walked us through the home, pointed out key information and details, which was greatly appreciated. The home was clean and stocked with extra sheets, blankets, coffee, tea, milk, cream, etc. The sheets and blankets were excellent quality. There was even shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion in the bathrooms. The fire place made our evenings extra cozy. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy the hot tub but there were plenty of towels for us if we were to enjoy. The main level was spacious enough to enjoy some company and plays a few games. We also loved that we were within walking distance to so many great restaurants! Overall, this home was perfect for our needs and I highly recommend it!

Very Comfortable, Safe and Convenient

Travel party consisted of two couples. This property worked perfectly for us. Having the bedrooms located upstairs and in the basement provided sufficient privacy for both couples. Nice living room, kitchen and dining room on main floor. I would stay there again!

Cute and cozy home in Burlington

My husband and I stayed at Hager House for three nights with our 3-year-old, 8-month-old and my parents, and the accommodation was pretty perfect for a group our size. My parents stayed in the master suite in the basement, which has a bedroom, walk-in shower room and living room. This gave them some space to themselves away from the noise and chaos upstairs being created by two small children! The rest of us stayed in the two upstairs bedrooms (one double and one with two single beds), which share the family bathroom. The setup generally worked well and the rooms were nicely decorated and contained good storage space. However, one negative is that the double bedroom my husband and I shared was very small and there wasn’t much spare floor space around the bed. The main level of the house contains an open plan kitchen and living space, which is really lovely. The house feels incredibly warm and cozy and truly lives up to the pictures! We tried out the fireplace and the hot tub and both are really nice features of the house. The host was incredibly responsive via email and was really accommodating when I asked if we could check in early. She even popped over to the house to make sure we had everything we needed and to explain how everything in the house worked. She left nice little touches everywhere to make our trip much easier, such as stocking the kitchen with tea, coffee and milk, and the laundry room with detergent etc. We would definitely recommend Hager House!

A great place to relax

Comfortable renovated old home

The house is clearly a 1940's post war era 1.5 story, fully renovated home. The renovations are tasteful and very functional. Groceries are within walking distance. Highly recommended for being close to Burlington downtown.
