Enjoy a slice of South Padre Island - a South Texas Paradise - at Cora Lee Gulf View Unit 301. We recently renovated our 2 bedroom condo with our guests' experience in mind. We aim to enhance your South Padre Island vacation with a clean, comfortable space for you and your guests to create lasting memories. Our vacation home is a top-floor corner unit in a small, family-friendly complex. The unit has elevator access, a pool and hot tub, and a washer and dryer. We are located directly across the street from direct beach access. Our living and dining spaces are perfect for families to get comfy and enjoy a game night and delivery pizza. Our kitchen is fully equipped with full-size stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. If you opt for a homecooked meal, don't forget to stop by the charming local grocery store, Blue Marlin, to stock up on groceries. Our primary bedroom has a king-size memory foam mattress and cable TV for the VIPs in your group. Our 2nd bedroom has a twin bunk bed plus an additional queen bed. Your guests will love having their own space to unpack and unwind. If you bring a vehicle or two, you'll have your own parking space. Make yourself at home!

Welcome to Cora Lee on Gulf Blvd at South Padre Island. Cora Lee is a small, family-friendly condominium complex. It has 3 floors, assigned parking, and elevator access. The pool and hot tub oasis are gated and well-maintained. Cora Lee is ideally located! It is directly across the street from a public beach access point on Goodhope Circle, including a rinse station and accessibility boardwalk. You'll also be happy to know that Cora Lee is just down the street and around the corner from Island Market convenience store and Kelly's Irish Pub. Have a look at the Sand Sculptures on your walk to Kelly's! Welcome to Cora Lee Gulf View!

Refundable Damage Deposit: Rentals may require a Refundable Damage Deposit from March through Easter weekend. The Rental Company will collect this deposit by cash or credit card at check-in. If paying by credit card, the Primary Renter must present a credit card that matches their name upon check-in. Age Restrictions: The minimum age requirement for renters is 25. As per Homeowner Association Rules & Regulations, THIS CONDO DOES NOT ALLOW YOUNG ADULT/SPRING BREAK GROUPS.

- The number of guests must not exceed the stated maximum occupancy.
- Parties are strictly prohibited.
- Please keep noise levels to a minimum to respect other guests and property owners.
- Professionally laundered and sanitized linens may be exchanged for free on the east side of our off-site Guest Welcome Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Laundry detergent and sofa sleeper linens are available upon request at our off-site Guest Welcome Center.

Location was great beach access, kids room was cute and cozy Pool was dirty, hot tub took 30 minutes to get hot. Master bed was extremely uncomfortable the mattress has been worn out

Very smooth process checking in. The condo was very comfortable and had a view of the ocean walking distance from the beach which was nice! Very quiet neighborhood we would def look into renting this property again!

Excellent location

Our first time in South Padre Island. We loved it! We will come back , just 9hrs drive from DFW Area . We didn't know what to expect but we loved it. The apartment have everything we needed and just few steps from the beach . Very safe area and close to restaurants and supermarkets .

Relaxing stay

We really enjoyed our stay on Cora Lee. Neat and clean, everything was pleasant. Only issue there wasn't a sharp enough knife to cut through meat when we cooked. Also was a bit disapointed the hot tub was drained. Part of the reason I chose this property was it had one.

Perfect Beach Escape

The check in was so quick and easy, which is exactly what you want when you are ready to hit the beach. The beds were a comfy place to lay your head after a long day in the sun. *The only areas of improvement are that the water pressure was low i. The showers. Also the second bathroom seemed to have some problems getting plugged up. Even with these improvements, I would definitely book again.

Overall a great experience.

Overall a great experience though “check-in” is odd for a VRBO. You are required to go to a central check-in location only to be given four pieces of paper whose information could be emailed or left inside the unit like at every VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. The pieces of paper included the property address, digital code, Wi-Fi information, and other basic rules revolving staying at a property including check-in/check-out times. We had a maintenance issue with a toilet and they responded very quickly. That was a huge relief as we thought we’d have to deal with it during the stay. Great staff that was very courteous and accommodating.

Very nice - right across from beach access

The property was very nice and very clean. Exactly as it was described and overall I was very happy with the rental. There were a few things that should be addressed for future renters though: 1. Hot water temperature was SCALDING - was difficult to take shower without being burned. 2. Kitchen sink faucet needs new washer since water only comes out in trickle. 3. There needs to be a vacuum stored there for use. 4. Needs iron and ironing board.

Arrived to a large sign on the brand new dishwasher to not use. A call said it would be repaired in 36 to 48 hours. Stayed 18 days. Never got fixed and mgmt said they would get back to me in a possible partial refund day of checkout. Still waiting 5 days later. Won't stay with this mgmt company again on South Padre.

Close to beach

The best thing about this property is the location. Short walk the beach. The kitchen is not well appointed…don’t plan to cook dinner etc. we could not get the dishwasher door to close. The place has enough room for 4 people comfortably. Sheets and towels were very clean. Beds are comfortable. However, the home itself needs a good cleaning. Floors and baseboards are very dirty. We saw one large cockroach on our last night….in the living area. The price of the rental for 4 days was very good….but you do get what you pay for. Great location….I gave the unit itself a 3/5. Not terrible for sure, was fine, but room for improvement for sure as well. We will try another place next time.

Water pressure issues

Furniture was good quality and comfortable. The beach was a short walk across the street. It was not walking distance to stores or activities. The place was clean. The issues we had almost all revolved around water pressure. The dishwasher would not stay closed so water sprayed all over the kitchen. We used a chair to wedge it closed. The kitchen sink was only putting out about 10% of water. Maintenance came out to change faucet and then it worked fine. Master shower only worked in third degree burn hot setting. Service said to only turn on a hair to the left. That would give you lukewarm water but with no pressure so made washing hair very hard. Other shower worked fine. Kitchen is lacking staples like strainer, mixing bowls, salt and pepper.

2nd Time Staying Here

This was our second stay at this property. We love that this condo is so close to the beach; nearest beach was under construction which wasn’t ideal. Upon checking in master toilet wasn’t flushing well and by the following morning it wouldn’t flush or plunge at all. Water pressure in kitchen and master bathroom were horrible. Called the management company several times about bathroom and no answer. Messaged via VRBO and no response so we went to the management company office and were assured maintenance would be by that evening. So we stuck around and waited and no one came. The next morning maintenance did show up but was unable to remedy the problem. Then heard from management later that afternoon about a plumber coming by. Plumber came and did fix the toilet and the toilet pressure! After plumber left received a call stating plumber wouldn’t be there until the next morning. I told them they had already fixed it. I then I received a message about the plumber coming the next morning. I ask to have a manager call about a credit for inconvenience of the plumbing issue and haven’t heard back from them four days later. This being our second time staying here the unit definitely shows wear from weather and visitors but still a comfortable place. We did see a few roaches which wasn’t ideal.

September Anniversary Staycation

Plenty of room for the two of and our tiny pets. Loved that there was an elevator for bringing in luggage, etc. I would suggest if there are small children the balcony rails need to be reinforced again, they both seem to be loose. Also the front bathroom handle needs repair. We did enjoy all the other perks! and so close to the beach...

Very convenient location - the beach entrance is literally across the street. You can see the waves from the kitchen/living room. Nice breakfast area and full kitchen with everything you need for a family breakfast

Great condo close to beach entrance

This condo is just across the street from beach access #22. Very convenient. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and roomy. No dressers in either bedroom so hard to unpack a bag. Would be nice to have them. Kitchen is small and could use a deep clean. No spices and limited cooking utensils. Very bare bones. Balcony has one chair and two larger tables. Would be nice to have two chairs and get rid of side tables. Overall great stay. Condo could use a few tweaks to make it 5 star!

Adorable and great location!

I could t have been happier in choosing this spot for our beach vacation. It was a great set up with a king bedroom towards the front of the condo and the bunk bed/Queen on the backside. The best part was the location. We could access the beach so easily right across the street. We rented umbrellas and lounge chairs which were set up at the entrance to the beach - which made it perfect. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay at Cora Lee! It was very clean & a great location right across the street from the beach. The beach we had access to was much less crowded than other areas. There are also chair/umbrellas available to rent for a reasonable price (get there around 9:30/10 to snag one) My only negative would be that the kitchen supplies/utensils were minimal. No salt/pepper, only a few small pans. We didn’t cook much so it was fine, but definitely need to know if you plan to cook while there. Overall we were very pleased with the property. It was a great place for our family to stay!

Would Stay Here Again

My sister & I stayed here while visiting family in Harlingen. It was tidy & spacious, the building and neighborhood was quiet in the evenings, and the A/C worked great. The guy checking us in at the welcome center was cheerful & helpful, as well. This unit has a balcony with a partial view of the ocean, although I didn't hang there much since the beach is right across the street. We walked out to the beach each morning & evening to watch the sunrise & sunset, which was a great way to decompress. The only feedback I have for the owner or property management would be to include a few extra blankets for the beds. We like to keep our A/C pretty cool to help us sleep better at night and the thin comforter on the main bed wasn't enough, so we ended up taking the blanket off the second bed that we weren't using.

A Great Oasis

We had a great, wonderful, calming stay at this property. The beach access right across the street was such a wonder. I would definitely choose to do another vacation here.
