Romantic getaway

We are celebrating our 34th marriage anniversary. We needed quiet space but with comfort and good access to good dining and shopping nearby. This property had all that we needed! Hot water, AC, beautiful views with deer sightings in the valley, and easy access to Fredericksburg main sites. We really loved it. At night we discovered the milky way and a few satellites passing by. Beautiful stay. Thank you!

Starry night

We had a relaxing and restful stay. Evenings on the patio watching deer roam the area and lots of stars. Convenient drive to town. Will stay here again next time we visit Fredericksburg.

Nice place about 9 miles north of Fredericksburg with easy access onto the property as well into town. Not a place to be able to cook anything but very cozy and clean.

Relaxing weekend in Fredericksburg

Thank you for a quiet getaway. It was nice to get away from the main part of Fredericksburg & have a nice cottage to relax in for the weekend. The drive to town is less than 10 minutes.

Clean and comfortable

The little cottage was very tidy, clean and comfortable. The listing needs to be updated, it says it has a full kitchen. I was skeptical from the pictures and it in fact does not but we were preparing for that anyway. We did not have enough wash cloths for our stay so we contacted the number in the welcome book but that is the previous owner. We ended up meeting the manager as she was leaving from checking on the other 2 properties and she happily helped us get more wash cloths. She was very friendly! Overall we really enjoyed our getaway and would definitely go back!

Cozy getaway

The property was nice but the cleanliness was mediocre. Coffee grounds spilled, stains on the towels, smears on the glass. It would have been nice to have some of the bath salts that were mentioned as being one of the perks with the tub. There was only one robe but 2 guests. Internet service was spotty so the tv did not consistently get service either. It was not really close to anything else, which was what we wanted and the bed was super comfy! The sofa was uncomfortable for my height and I really needed a step stool to be able to reach the kitchen cabinets. Overall, our stay was okay but not worth the price.

Relaxing Seclusion

We loved our 3 night stay at the property. It’s a quaint getaway just outside a town in a gated ranch setting. The property is very modern and in good repair. The bathroom was very nice and the cottage was spacious. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

Great cabin!

We loved our stay here! Perfect cozy cabin for two. It was a bit out of town, about 10 min, but we didn’t mind. It was a great location for visiting Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. Beautiful view of the sunrise and the stars, really nice! There is a little patio outside as well as a bigger patio shared among the 3 cabins. Very comfortable and clean cabin, perfect for our anniversary getaway!

Beautiful Country Stay

What a beautiful place!! The views were so nice. We enjoyed sitting out under the covered patio one evening with a cool breeze. The inside was spotless and everything new! Love king sized beds when we stay in places. This had one. Just a very lovely place. It is over 10 miles out of town but that didn’t phase us one bit. You don’t get those views in town.

Quick Weekday Getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay. After visiting some wineries and downtown FBG, we made our way to the property and found it just as the pictures show. Five deer where grazing out the back door when we arrived. We had dinner at the Hilltop, just minutes away and then came back to sit on the back porch and enjoy the star gazing. We would stay here again.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at D’vine cottage. The serenity of the grounds, breathtaking views and clear starry skies made the experience lovely. Perfect quiet getaway

If you are looking for a quiet sanctuary away from the hustle, this is a perfect place. You can enjoy sitting on the front porch or back patio in the peace and quiet. Bed is extremely comfortable and jacuzzi tub and walk in shower is a nice perk. 10 minutes away from Main Street with plenty of shopping and many choices of restaurants. Already planning our next stay!!

Beautiful location

If your looking for a beautiful place to stay that is close enough to Fredericksburg but still far enough away to give you a that perfect country setting then you need to look no further. Everything was very clean and very well maintained and the bed was super comfortable. Loved sitting on the back porch and watching the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Highly recommend
