Nice East End Beach Spot

Walkable to Patches, Schooners & souvenir shops. Older condo fairly clean complex. Our room was nice, just wish they would remove carpet from bedrooms.

The overall resort was nice but I would give our unit a B-... Very old bed that needs to be replaced, furniture is not comfortable and the tv's are outdated. I would probably come back, but stay in a different unit. The pool and beach are nice with very easy access We enjoyed ourselves but not quite the standard we are used to...

Gulf Stay

The location is perfect. We love that end of the beach. The unit could use some new furniture and th carpet should be replaced. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Great balcony view of the gulf. The amenities should include a list of just what the renter should bring for a long stay.

Fall Break 2022-207

I've vacationed on this side of PC Beach for over 20 years. I was married at St Andrews Bay in 2001 and it is a special place for me. I enjoy the quiet side and location of Commodore Condos. It is a gated community which is safe and the grounds are well maintained. It is a fact that the building is older and the units are not as modern as the newer condos, but it is a trade off for me. I love the location so much I overlook some of the furnishings and design. I will say that working with Amber at Itrip has been a pleasure. If there are any issues and there were, she was immediately on it. For instance- random- our sliding glass door was off track when we arrived and she had someone to come and get it back working within a few hours. Amber was responsive and communicative at each step of the way. I recommend Itrip and Amber who is excellent at customer service

Great location, not so great condo.

Beds were awful. Kitchen lacked basic necessities for cooking meals. There is definitely nothing extra in the way of blankets, towels, pillows etc. either. Cleaning was lacking. Dust over all the window coverings and fans. Couches need replacing. We could barely open the balcony doors. The commodore is a wonderful place and the other units we have stayed at have been great.

Slice of Paradise!

I cannot say enough about the location alone. The condo sits literally on the beach. We like to stay on the beach but I’ve never had a better view. The balcony was my favorite spot to be. Watching and listening to the waves as the sun came up and went down. The side of Panama City where the condo is located couldn’t have been more perfect either. Secluded yet close to everything! The condo was a nice size and I didn’t feel like they had altered the pictures online at all. It was as pictured. I was so happy when we walked in the door! Check in was simple and the text we got before we arrived, was awesome. Amber let us know we could reach out to her if we needed anything (we didn’t) throughout our stay. She even left us a gift for our arrival that made it more personal and welcoming. If I could give 10 starts I would! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your little slice of heaven. 10 out of 10 recommend!

It was fun, we had my daughters 16 birthday weekend. The furnishings were a bit rough and the carpet was dirty and the tub was leaking a little and getting the carpet wet. I tried to call the property management company to tell them. I had to leave a message and my call was never returned. But over all the girls had fun.

Loved this place! Was exactly as described, plenty of room, on the beach, beautiful gulf-front views from sliding doors in living room and master bath, saw dolphins-no sharks, loved the spacious balcony. It was clean, quiet, close to St Andrew’s Bay, nice pool, condo had enough amenities to cook and serve several meals. Convenient to restaurants, stores, groceries. Easy check.in/out. Our only problems were 2 of 3 tvs not working and hot tub was not hot. Still very nice place at a good price during July 4th. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation !

Summer vaca

The unit is a great location the unit is as pictured, the unit was clean as well as the complex. The beds are something else, very cheap, so plan on making a trip to buy mattress pads and while your there plan on picking up some pillows, dish cloths and pot holders, unless your okay with using a wash cloths or one of the two dish towels they provide to wash dishes or to remove remove baking dishes from the oven. The view from the balcony is very nice however the mosquitoes are pretty bad in the evening. The listing states you get two parking passes however, we had family come over from Fort Morgan and we were told they couldn’t park in the lot and needed go down to Alvin’s Island and park because the complex does not provide guest passes, yet we only used one parking pass.

Location was great 2nd floor was loud at night but we enjoyed the ease with small kids. Beds need replacing and we couldn’t get bedroom tvs to work other than that it was perfect for us. Only stairs to beach.

When can I come back??

Where to begin? This place was amazing, so close to the pool, beach, hot tub etc. so easy to lay on the beach and come upstairs to make some lunch, take a nap and go back out for round two. The condo had everything that we needed and we were happy they had a full size washer and dryer in the unit. I slept like a baby each night but I’m sure listening to the ocean helped with that!! Already planning a trip back as we miss it already!

Amazing ocean front view!

The view alone is worth staying at this condo! The heated pool and hot tub were great especially since it was windy and cooler temps for our stay. The condo has plenty of room and was clean for our stay. The Beach is literally steps away! Only minor complaints were the TVs are older but worked ok, one of the elevators kept messing up, the balcony is right next to pool so not great for privacy but very convenient, and the bathrooms are small. But overall we loved staying here and the location and view are amazing!

It's the little things

Great location, great view, easy access in and out to beach or road. Well kept grounds and pool, great local pub practically in the parking lot, breakfast restaurant within walking distant. We've been coming to the Commodore for over 15 years. This was the first time we stayed in this particular unit. Overall it was nice and most of my complaints have to do with maintenance and cleaning crew. Master bath so very small you can hardly shut the door, and tub and sink don't drain. Door to balcony from living room just about needed a crow bar to open it, but the one in the master bedroom was great. Was not able to set the thermostat to a higher temp without it going back to way too cold for us. Some kind of 2 hour lock on it. Trash under the love seat (candy or cereal) water rings on the glass tables and the t.v.area was pretty dusty. Need a step by step instruction sheet, to operate and listen to the t.v. The condo itself is nice, but with what you charge for cleaning costs, you might wanna follow up on that. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and my birthday and we had a great time on the beach.

Instantly regretted booking this condo!

Upon entering the condo, you could smell the musty carpets in the bedrooms. The couch was dingy and had mildew spots on it and although someone was sent out to clean it, it still was dingy and just needs to be replaced altogether. The ceiling had mold spots in multiple areas, the carpet was dirty, the pans weren't clean, nor were the kitchen drawers, light switches, refrigerator handles, stove, etc. The whole place needs to be deep cleaned because whoever does the cleaning has no idea what they're doing. The lamps had a dusty, grimy buildup on it that clearly shows it doesn't get dusted or wiped down even occasionally. My whole trip would've been ruined had my mom and I not bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it ourselves. We were in town to celebrate her 70th birthday so that's the LAST thing we should've been concerned about! I was highly disappointed and dissatisfied!

Negative: master bath, you have to squeeze between sink & toilet to close door-No room at all.

No floats in pool, could not enjoy center of pool, was there by myself a lot-but I do understand the rule. 4-5 foot area in pool was not large. Besides that everything was perfect. Great location & perfect beach. Would definitely rent again

The location was great! The beach and the staff were excellent. The condo itself could have been a little cleaner (floors). And the kitchen was missing some items that I thought were necessary ( wine opener, spatula) also needed more knives and forks.

Girl's Trip

The condo was clean and we had a nice view. We thoroughly enjoyed the large balcony, where we spent lots of time. There were a few issues, however. The kitchen stock needs to be replenished... no pizza cutter and very dull knives (very frustrating) We could've used more linens than one set per person. And the condo did not come with a set of beach chairs/umbrella. $30/day rental adds up quickly with 4 people.

Lacking needed kitchen supplies/master bath like a small closet

This condo was significantly under stocked in the kitchen and only one person could be in the master bath at a time. We lost an entire day in the condo due to them turning the power off for ac maintenance which should have been done in the offseason. We should be reimbursed for that day, we had toddlers that we couldn’t care for due to their lack of communication of the outage in advance. We have stayed in other condos at the commodore that we have ranked excellent but this one was the worst ever. I had to clean it before we could eat off the dining table. Very unhappy with my vacation stay!
