Needs maintenance and a deep clean
The toilet was broken at check-in, despite reporting it within 5 min of checking in, it was not fixed for the entire 4 nights of our stay - despite reaching out to after hours line, the regular office (by phone and email) as well as the owner.
Emergency after hours said they couldn't help since it was 7pm - call back in the morning. Called back to Johns Pass Condos and the woman i spoke with told me i needed to submit the issues in writing via email.
Shortly after the email, a cleaning person was sent to clean the floors. She acknowledged that the place needed a deep clean, but, the owner has not authorized that service. We found numerous little things beyond the broken toilet - like orange mold/flim in the shower, candy wrappers under the beds and in the closet, a pantyliner sticker from a swimsuit stuck to the side of the coffee table, a blood stained pillow case, a missing glass shelf in the fridge, and a very leaky dishwasher. The walls and doors also are in need of a proper cleaning and touch up. There's a noticeable grease spot above the stove. None of these things individually are a huge deal, but, together, with the lack of care for a broken toilet - shows clear disregard for regular maintenance and deep cleaning.
All this said, the condo is in a prime location directly across from John's Pass and on the beach. The pool area is nice, with plenty of chairs.
But, I have another trip booked next month and chose to go with a different property.
