This newly developed property in a peaceful rural setting (completed in 2020) is just a two minute drive from the centre of Martinborough village. You will have cows and sheep for neighbours - and magnificent views of the Remutaka and Haurangi mountain ranges.

Close by there are over twenty wineries, many offering lunch or platters to accompany their award winning wines.

There are two bedrooms - both with king size beds. There is a well equipped kitchen, bathroom with spacious shower, laundry facilities and an open-plan lounge and dining area. There is comfortable accommodation for up to four people (two couples) and parking for two or more vehicles right next to the entry. The lounge area opens onto a private deck under a covered portico - ideal for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding mountain and rural landscape.

Relaxing and convenient

A great, semi-rural spot for a serene Martinborough break that is still handy to shops, cafes and wineries via the e-bikes available to rent, a car, or even walking. Highly recommend.

The accommodation is lovely but we were disappointed that there were nail clippings on the floor. It was no problem to clean up but not a nice welcome especially when the owner had been so welcoming. We really appreciated the breakfast provided. We did sleep in both bedrooms as the bed on the first night was very uncomfortable, I seemed to have my head sloping downwards and the pillows were flat. The second night was much more comfortable.

Lovely place to stay. We were in Martinborough for a wedding being held at Brackenridge which was close by. Ideally placed for all the sights.

Relaxing weekend away

This fabulous new apartment had everything we needed on our weekend enjoying Martinborough. Slept well and found the covered deck awesome to relax outside. Thanks Jeff.

Perfect place

Can't fault our stay in this place. Easy check in, everything we needed supplied. The owner even offered to pick us up from wine tasting if we wanted! Lovely view of the mountains and sounds of birds in the mornings. All solar powered, which was nice to know.

Lovely Stay in Martinborough

Lovely clean new apartment, comfortable bed, great shower and friendly host. Location is a little out of the village but only a few minutes to the square by car. We hired their electric bikes and enjoyed one of the days biking around the vine yards and the village. We certainly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment

Very enjoyable 2 night stay. The property is new and furnished to a very high standard. Had everything we needed. Only a short drive in to Martinborough and it was handy for us, as we were going to a party nearby. Owners very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Great Spot, great host

Spotlessly clean, great host, private and quiet. Ticked all the boxes for us and our friends. I would recommend this place for two couples who want to escape the hustle and bustle, to enjoy a country break in Martinborough and what it has to offer.

My wife Brenda and I are both outgoing, we like to travel - especially RVing around the USA and here in New Zealand.

We enjoy most all music - jazz and blues - as well as the classics. We like dining out where good food and fine wine is on offer. We particularly enjoy eating out locally - there are so many great options including bars, cafes, wineries and fine dining restaurants.

The property is ideally situated to capture all day sun, It is a peaceful place with uninterrupted views over the surrounding rural landscape, Close to town but not in the urban hustle.

We offer to transport guests wishing to dine-out and sample our local fare - thus avoiding the need for them to having to drive themselves. Note: it is preferable to arrange for this at the time of your booking or when you arrive.

We are in walking distance of the Brackenridge Country Retreat & Spa. But if the weather is not so good, then do not hesitate to ask us to drive you there and back!
