Beware- This place is filthy and stinks, literally.
The smell is thick, like a faecal blanket over your head as you open the door. It's a mixture of poo, damp, and mould.
The poo smell comes from the toilet in the main bathroom - which backs up and eventually stopped flushing entirely - leaving a pan full of poo and toilet paper to really stink out the only really useable bathroom.
The "second bathroom" is actually an old laundry - unusable shower recess and the 2nd toilet smells worse than the main bathroom - There is no toilet seat, and to add to the poo smell there is a strong damp dankness.
Due to the proximity of both smelly toilets to living area - the living rooms of the house smell like poo and damp mouldy dankness.
The backed up main toilet eventually overflowed into the back laundry carrying poo remnants and the accompanying smell further infiltrated the living areas.
As far as the rest of the house - the massive stain on the ancient carpet as you open the front door continues down the hall and the rest of the house is grubby, tired, mouldy and cobwebs cover most corners and windows.
The ancient air conditioners don't work, half the power points dont work in the bedrooms - take some power boards if you intend to stay !
The mould on the ceilings is a worry - have a close look and you can see it in the listing photos.
The back screen is difficult to open and close the screen door is off its rails.
The TV and Internet work great and the cafe next door has great coffee.
I dont have a problem with a place that may be a little older, or maybe has some tired bits and pieces, but this house is downright disgusting.
I can hear you asking - "Hey , why didn't you contact the owner and complain " OH WE DID - only to be ignored, then finally fobbed off after finally speaking to the agent on the phone.
The night before we left, someone let themselves in and pumped out the poo backed up toilet - leaving the sewage remnants on the floor of the back laundry for us as a present .
