Dieses helle und freundliche Landhaus wird Sie nicht enttäuschen!
Die Ursprünge von 1820 sind kaum zu bemerken, da es 2012 mit nahezu allen neuen Systemen, aktualisierten Oberflächen und in den meisten Fällen sogar strukturellen Komponenten komplett renoviert wurde. Es verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer. Eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit einem großen Gemeinschaftsraum zum Essen, Faulenzen und Beobachten von T. V. Es ist ungefähr 1250 Quadratfuß mit Massivholzböden. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie einen friedlichen Rückzugsort für Meister mit eigenem Bad, das eine separate Dusche und sogar eine Klauenfußwanne umfasst!
Das Grundstück ist gut ausgestattet mit Hartriegelbäumen, englischen Buchsbäumen, Lammzunge, Hollies und Krepp-Myrte.
Die Altstadt von Warrenton ist ein sehr angenehmer 3-Block-Spaziergang, wo Sie das historische Gerichtsgebäude "Old Jail" und John Singleton Mosbys (The Grey Ghost) Zuhause / Museum finden. Es gibt 2 Bäckereien, 5 Restaurants, Cafés, Kunstgalerien, Fairtrade-Geschenkläden und sogar eine Mikrobrauerei, die alle zu Fuß erreichbar sind. In Fahrweite befindet sich ein Wasser- / Freizeitzentrum zum Schwimmen und Trainieren (mit Ausrüstung und Unterricht).
Jenseits der Stadt befinden sich wundervolle Weingüter in Virginia, der Skyline Drive und der Nationalpark, die Civil War Battlefields und noch weiter östlich finden Sie alles, was die Hauptstadt der Nation zu bieten hat (ca. 45 Meilen).

Great spot!

I was in town for a 40th birthday party and the locations was great. 15 min walking distance to Old Town. Perfect for two parties with an upstairs bed/full bath and a downstairs bed/full bath. Also, the local egg and chicken sausages were a nice touch!

Perfectly IMPRESSIVE

This was my very first time ever staying at Vrbo or any type of home rental. From the host to the Vrbo contact information 1-800 number all was outstanding. I am very tech challenged and if I can do it anyone can!! This sweet cottage and location is definitely ABOVE the normal. It had all my favorite needs and privacy and I can be picky. Easy walk to historic Warrenton and on a lovely street. Sides in the back of a gorgeous historic home with an easy access driveway that is beautiful to cottage. Full kitchen, barbecue grill, washer and dryer, spacious 2bedrooms and a darling sunroom. TV and WiFi was easy access. My daughter, husband and 4 year old toddler, we had a wonderful visit together cooking great meals in the well provided kitchen. The host provided us a dozen eggs and the best breakfast sausage you will ever eat! Also coffee beans and granola were there!! A Keurig machine is also there so bring your favorite pods. Our experience there was perfect and I will definitely repeat my stay here. No hassle checking in or out. I would absolutely recommend stay here.

Easily Walk into Town

Lovely setting, very quiet, but close to downtown Warrenton. We were able to pleasantly walk the sidewalk the 3-4 blocks to the center of town.We enjoyed sitting outside on the lawn chairs in the shade to drink morning tea. Mike, the owner, came over to chat. The AC was great during a very hot spell in June. Upstairs bedroom was fairly large. The bathroom door there could use some adjustment to allow it to fully close and a night light would be helpful if you anticipate having to get up before dawn. The downstairs bathroom is near the opposite end of the cottage from the downstairs bedroom.

A home away from our home

I rented the cottage to serve as extra bedrooms for four members of our Belgian family who were here to join the Celebration of Life for my late husband. I was preoccupied with all of the preparations, so I never saw the cottage in person, but they said that it was easy to find, and that everything was very clean and available for their use. They enjoyed the eggs and sausage; however, the first day they weren’t aware of the sausage because they were expecting the hard dried type that they usually have as part of breakfast in Belgium! I know that they enjoyed the location being within walking distance of a couple bakeries,restaurants and a walking trail. I am hoping that they left everything in the order that you expected? If not, please let me know! Thank you for offering the cottage on VRBO.

Home away from home

We stayed here when in Warrenton to care for a loved one. It was the perfect location between the hospital and town in a lovely quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Chase was wonderful to work with and Mike (the owner) was very welcoming. Not only were we given bread, eggs, sausage at the beginning of our stay, we found some beautiful daffodils on our doorstep during our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Awesome Stay!

This was a fabulous VRBO experience for weekend family birthday celebrations. The host and homeowner were both more than accommodating and pleasant. The cottage was perfect in every way … the special treats were delicious and were near everything in Warrenton. We will definitely be back!

Wedding weekend

This cottage is beautiful and perfect for small families and getting ready for an even. The property is well taken care of, the layout of the house beautiful and the house is in a convenient spot for in town events. I could not have picked a better place for my wedding weekend. Girls getaway

Beautiful area , nice walks every morning , nice yard to sit and listen to the birds , talk and drink our coffee/ wine in the evenings .. loved the basket of fresh eggs , sausage and bread left for our group to enjoy !!! Also the coffee was amazing ! We will be back !!! Beautiful town in million dollar neighborhood , restaurants and shops were so much fun. They had a acoustic guitar one Friday night that our party enjoyed !! It was a lovely visit and less than an hour to DC !

Wonderful cottage!

This cottage was perfect . Great location, we loved walking to town for dinner. The gifts from Chase were lovely, we ate the sausage straight away. Delicious! Top notch AC when you need to escape the heat and humidity. Nice relaxing seating area outdoors. Would highly recommend .

Fantastic stay in Warrenton!

We did not expect such a nice place for the price within walking distance to Warrenton! Everything was wonderful and easy. Booking the cottage was simple, the hosts left all the makings for the most delicious breakfast, the cottage was much more spacious than we expected and we were able to go for long walks every day! It’s location was perfect! It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more! We will definitely be back:)

Relaxing Stay

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed the cottage. Upon arrival, we were greeted with some generous gifts of local bread, eggs and meat in the kitchen. We enjoyed the proximity to downtown warrenton restaurants and would definitely stay again.

Absolutely Delightful!

Our group of two couples thoroughly enjoyed staying at this delightful cottage! It is bright, light, and airy inside with lovely, well-cared for outdoor space. After a busy day, the cottage was a welcome retreat. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and easily walkable to all the delights of Old Town Warrenton. Upon our arrival at the cottage, we found a dozen brown eggs and pork sage sausage patties from Warrenton’s Whiffletree Farm in the fridge and on the counter a loaf of delicious honey wheat bread and a bag of dark roast coffee beans (there is a coffee grinder at the cottage). Needless to say, we were more than happy to leave our box of cereal in the car and treat ourselves to two mornings of mouth-watering, locally produced treats. Thank you Chase for the goodies! At nighttime, everyone found the beds to be very comfortable, and we slept soundly. The cottage was immaculate and spacious for four people. We liked that one bedroom and full bath were on the first floor and the other bedroom and full bath were upstairs which gave everyone privacy. We were fortunate to be able to meet the homeowner of the property, Mike, when we arrived. He was gracious, friendly, interesting, and a pure delight! He rightly takes great pride in his property and his town, and we felt lucky to have had the opportunity to talk with him. All four of us highly recommend a stay at this property!

Wonderful Property in excellent location

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at the property. We were able to walk to downtown Warrenton, what a great little town with history, restaurants and shops. The house was clean and well kept and Chase the property manager was easy to work with. We found fresh eggs and sausage in the refrigerator which was a very nice touch and a fresh loaf of bread. We would stay here again.
