God's Peaks Lodge - Christian Retreat Center

The lodge can accommodate up to 44 overnight guests in 8 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom.
Please request discount for children ages 2 to 12. Kids age 3 and younger are at no added cost.
The kitchen is equipped with 5 major appliances, dishes to serve 50 people, and cooking and baking pots and pans all for use by lodge guests. The dining room comfortably seats 50 people at round tables. A wrap around deck lets you move outside for meals and conversation while taking in the 360 degree panorama of the Rocky and Purcell Mountains.
The 2nd floor includes a library, lounge, and a meeting room with projector and screen. The upper floor patio is facing a 50km view of the Columbia Valley, Western Canada's largest wetland wildlife reserve.

Amazing Experience

We had a family reunion gathering at God's Peak Lodge and it was incredible! Everything was so well set up and there was something for everyone! Huge kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, wonderful spaces for visiting and playing. Hosts were great, easy to communicate with and very helpful!

Exceeded our expectations!

We planned a family reunion with my parents, my four siblings and their spouses, and 12 kids 0-11; we found this place as a nice sort of half-way point between those on the BC coast and those near Edmonton. This lodge way exceeded our hopes and expectations; the pictures online don’t do it justice! It was super clean, very well designed and built, roomy and beautiful, with a fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous views… we are excited to come again year after year as we didn’t even use up all the beds and rooms so it can handle our growing families. The only drawbacks were very minor: the lodge is echoey with young children running about, and the outdoors is not as conducive to young toddlers, though very fun for older kids. Our hosts were extremely flexible and kind. We highly recommend this place!

God's Peak Lodge

Had a great stay here at the God's Peak, plenty of room with our extended family. Kitchen is fully stocked and has all dishes and small appliances to make a great meal. We celebrated our Parent's Anniversary and had a wonderful time with outside activities, hiking, Volleyball, square nine...etc. thanks for a great stay, highly recommend.

Gorgeous Place

The location was very divine. Nice view and very pleasant climate. The building was well maintained and lots of space to stay, play, pray relax. Mark was very pleasant and approachable. He was always available for any help if needed. I would strongly recommend this place for your next gathering.

Our family of 22 stayed for 4 days and absolutely loved this place. The whole place was spotless and so beautiful. The kitchen was well stoked and every appliance worked perfectly.

Family reunion

Property perfect for our Family,space more than enough for adults and kids to have fun,property owner and daughter took time to welcome us and did the orientation for the lodge and surroundings and check on us if we needed anything. Site is adorable for biking,hiking short distance for kids and to explore close by popular visitors attraction( Invermere Kinsmen Beach,Ziplining,Hot Springs) We definitely recommend this Property.ThanksMark,Kristine and Darcy.

The best place I have been for a family gettogether

I can describe the place with the name "God's Peaks" I have been there with my family all of ages kids with grandparents and had a wonderful peaceful time while the kids have enough to explore in this vast acreage. A remote place with all that you need. Mark has provided us an overview of the reason behind the name and offered the kids for a visit in the barn. The pictures say only 20%, you need to experience the rest 80% by living. I will definitely recommend visiting this place.

Amazing location

Location of the property was amazing it was on top of the hill very clean and no property Marc was a great host he even came in and help us start a fire in the fireplace the day after we checked in. The property was half an hour away from the golden. If you’re planning to have a party or if you’re planning to Have a dinner please make sure you have everything you need otherwise you have to drive 30 minutes to the garden. overall it was a great experience an amazing location with 360 mountain views.

Great family spot

Had a family reunion here and it was absolutely perfect. Had lots of room and bathrooms. The only downside was it was quite far from anything and the gravel road would be difficult for a small car. Other than that it was lovely!

Incredible!

Huddled inside by a warm fire on an icey cold Canadian winter day with our family as we overlooked the blue sky, majestic mountians and the beautiful Columbian Valley was a dream. This lodge was everything we could have imaginedand more.

Amazing Retreat

We had a wonderfull time at the lodge. Mark was a great host and helped us organise a couple of hikes in the area. His daughters Kristen and Orilia also helped us prepare amazing meals for the group. The property itself is very clean and perfect for big groups. The location and views are stunning. I highly recommend the space.

Zu Gast bei Mark Dyck

Mark is the husband of June, and the father of 5 beautiful children. He has had a career as an electrical engineer; at the same time making sure that his hands stay calloused and his logic practical while working as a part-time rancher. Now he is still "in school", an apprentice of Jesus, learning from Him how to live his life.

It was in Mark's mind that the dream of God's Peaks Lodge was conceived. When he and June moved to BC to God's Peaks Ranch in 2009, he already had the idea of creating a place where people could come together to consider the big questions of life; where answers that Jesus offered as truth might be discussed, understood, and ultimately known. In the fall of 2017 the construction of the lodge began, and his vision moved one step closer to reality.

Located on a working Cattle Ranch overlooking the Columbia River between the Rocky Mountains and the Purcell Range - from here you have access to Banff National Park, Yoho National Park, the Columbia Wetlands Conservation Area, Kootenay National Park, Glacier National Park, and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort - a lifetime of adventure awaits!
The lodge is set on a secluded piece of the mountainside well away from any close neighbors with panoramic 360 degree breathtaking views.
