**Spring 2025 Update: Cashiers, NC fortunately was not impacted by Hurricane Helene. Our house has power and the Trillium Club is open for golf, tennis, pickleball, gym, and croquet. Cashiers and Highlands restaurants and shops are open for business. Nearby parks are open for hiking.** Two-story home situated on the 14th fairway of the Trillium Links & Lake Club golf course with convenient access to Lake Glenville (5 minutes), downtown Cashiers (10 minutes), and downtown Highlands (25 minutes). Roads to the home are paved and well-maintained.

The upper level of the house features:
*Large covered porch with outdoor gas fireplace and propane grill - firewood and propane provided.
*Open living room with indoor gas fireplace, Smart TV (for access to YouTube TV, Amazon prime video, Netflix, etc.), and lots of toys for kids!
*Open concept dining room with seating for eight.
*Fully-stocked kitchen with two bar seats. Regular drip coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, nespresso vertuo machine, and milk frother.
*Powder half bathroom.
*Primary bedroom with king bed, walk-in closet with hangers and iron/ironing board, full en suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub and stand up shower, and Smart TV.
*Retractable baby gate at the top of the stairs to keep children and pets on the upper level.

The lower level includes:
*Family room with a sleeper sofa, Smart TV (for access to YouTube TV, Amazon prime video, Netflix, etc.), wet bar with sink and mini fridge, keyboard piano, table with seating for two, and full washer/dryer.
*Second primary bedroom with king bed, closet, and full en suite bathroom.
*Kids bedroom with queen bed, twin bed, full sized crib, closet, and full en suite bath.
We provide the following baby/kid items: full sized crib with mattress, mattress protectors, bedrails, extra sheets, clip on high chair, hiking backpack, baby monitor, white noise machines, single and double strollers, and toys. We have a tension baby gate available at the bottom of the stairs to keep children and pets on the lower level.

Fiber optic (fast 100Mbs!) internet makes the house a great place to work remotely. We are able to make Zoom/Teams video calls, watch Netflix, etc.

ABOUT TRILLIUM:
Guests have optional access to Trillium club amenities for an additional fee, which is paid by the guest to Trillium directly upon arrival. The amenity fee covers all of the guests staying at the house.
*April - November: $50/day or $200/week. Summer amenities include golf (guest responsible for cart/green fees), indoor gym, indoor and outdoor tennis, outdoor pool, outdoor pickleball and croquet, lakefront activities (boats, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards) and dining. Please confirm open amenities for your stay prior to booking.
*December - March: $10/day or $50/week. The only amenity available in the winter is the Apple Orchard Park (indoor gym, indoor tennis, and indoor sauna).

CLEANING GUIDELINES:
We offer contact-less check-in.
We have a professional cleaning company that cleans and disinfects the entire home after each stay and we ensure they follow the CDC guidelines for disinfecting high-touch surfaces, washing laundry on the warmest setting, and drying laundry completely.
We have extra antibacterial cleaning wipes under the kitchen sink for guests and antibacterial soap at each sink for hand washing.
We encourage removing shoes when entering the property.

Heaven On Earth

We made some great family memories at this beautiful cabin tucked in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The furniture and decor make you feel right at home. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fireplace where we started and ended our days as a family. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely mountain property

House was lovely - beds very comfortable, plenty of good towels and pillows. Seating in living room was great and TVs are all large and set up for all of the apps we regularly use. Gas fireplace in the house and porch were great. Two coffee makers and a bean grinder, so that met all of our needs. Well stocked with wine and cocktail glasses. Dining table fit six comfortably - we had four of us staying in the house with two in another house nearby for dinner. We would stay again. The house does have quite a few stairs - not a surprise but might not be suitable for those who cannot easily navigate that. I would also suggest more “couch blankets” for chilly nights. We would definitely stay again.

Gathering place for daughter's wedding

Home exceeded expectations for our stay at Trillium. Needed space to accommodate family for daughter's wedding at clubhouse and Reid property served us well. Thanksgiving weekend

The location was great! Close to Highlands and Cashiers. Very baby friendly, lots of toys and baby gate. No problem for us but if we had brought elderly folks there are a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind. If stairs aren’t an issue then this was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Everything you could ask for

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Everything was as described in the listing and the communication with the Host was excellent both pre arrival and then when we had questions after we arrived. The kitchen was very well equipped and all appliances were in working order. There were plenty of towels which is something I particularly appreciate and my husband loved that there was a good supply of hot water with excellent water pressure. It is a lovely property and we would happily stay there again.

Wonderful mountain getaway

Our family loved staying at this house and accessing the Trillium amenities. My husband played golf and we enjoyed tennis and the pool. The property was very clean and equipped with everything we needed from kitchen supplies to a brand new grill to comfortable pillows and linens. We loved sitting outside by the fireplace at night. The owners provided a comprehensive guide to the house and surrounding area. It was easy to access Lake Grenville, downtown Cashiers and Highlands. Contactless check in and check out was very easy. We look forward to visiting again!

Beautiful cabin

We wanted a 2 family “bubble” getaway during COVID, and the cabin was perfect. Well equipped kitchen, we cooked all our meals all week. We loved the layout (2 owner suites is great, with a bunk room for the kids) and the deck was nice. Groceries aren’t too far away. You do have to drive your trash to a dumpster in the next development down the road, but that isn’t unusual for homes/rentals in the area. Just know that in advance. It would have been helpful to have the check in address and procedures update in the app and not just sent via email, but that’s the only thing I’d change.

Winter Wonderland

Could not have had a more ideal set up for winter weather than at this attractive home located on a golf course. Four adults and four kids 0-6 years were able to sled down amazing well manicured golf course hills directly off the porch. Indoor and outdoor gas fire places made warming up quick and easy, and the grill worked great. Perfect layout for two families and children. Great visit and would recommend this house to anyone looking for mountain getaway. Host was also easily accessible and quick to respond.

Nice Holiday getaway

Cozy Property and perfect for our family and furry members. The golf course is incredible and even though it was closed for the season, we enjoyed walking the golf path with our dogs and for morning runs. The weather couldn't have been better. Nice benefit of supplied wood for outdoor fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and not completely emptied after each renter which was helpful since we forgot a few things we needed. The only issue we had was the housekeeping was not finished till 7pm of our arrival and a few things missed like unloading dishwasher and taking some trash in her hurry to get out of our way. I'm sure the holidays can cause staffing issues so it was just a small inconvenience to not be able to unpack till she left. Also small issue with inside fireplace pilot light; but the owner was quick to respond and all was resolved. Overall a lovely stay and we would return next time we visit the Cashiers area.

Great property, exactly as advertised. Location is easy to access but still has that ‘mountain feel’. Very clean home, and well stocked. Had one issue with the fireplace but the owner was very responsive and we figured it out quickly. Definitely on our short list of repeat stays!

We were there for a wedding @ Trillium. Beautiful community and the house was perfect! Even better for us it was set up with a baby gate, crib and toys for our grandbaby. The outdoor and indoor fireplace was also perfect. Highly recommend and we will certainly go back!!
