Sunshine Beach House - Private Pool - 5 minute walk to beaches - Pet friendly

Sunshine Beach House is a 3 bedroom 2 bath single family cottage (sleeps 8) on Pensacola Beach just waiting for your arrival. With only steps from public access to Santa Rosa Sound (on the north side) and a short jaunt to the Gulf of Mexico (on the south side), you have the best of both beaches!

The house is cozy (990 square feet) and the kitchen is well stocked. Don't forget the private heated pool (no charge for up to 6 hours of heat per day), regulation size sand volleyball court, and charcoal grill. Beach chairs and towels are provided also. You will love hanging out on the back deck that extends the entire length of the house.

We have a super fast Internet connection (1 gigabyte download) and a streaming Roku television in each bedroom and the living room. We DO NOT CHARGE A CLEANING FEE or ask for you to do any crazy chores.

NEW front and back yard landscaping completed January 2024. See the last photo for what it now looks like!

Bring your family, friends and pets to enjoy all that Pensacola Beach has to offer at the Sunshine Beach House.

Beach Time

We had a wonderful stay! It was a quiet neighborhood and just a short walk to the beach. The outdoor space and pool were the best part. The owner was quick to respond with info and any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again.

Sunshine Beach House has it ALL!

We were in Florida for my brother’s memorial and this house was perfectly located near Fort Pickens ( the site of the memorial ) and the dog beach. We had 3 adults and 1 dog. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked and the backyard was perfectly designed for a get together of the siblings afterwards! Beautiful pool and volleyball court, all meticulously maintained. Rob was very communicative and helpful with suggestions on how to enjoy the amenities and the Pensacola Beach/Gulf Breeze area! 10/10 We would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you, Rob!

Wonderful stay

This house is small but it was perfect! We enjoyed the pool, walking to the beach everyday and evening and also the sand volleyball! Very nice getaway have recommended it to many of our friends.

Great location and fun property

The house is great for folks looking for a short walk to the beach and conveinient to Pensacola boardwalk. The pool shelf was great for our babies and the daybed downstairs was a great place hang out in the shade during the day. We would certainly come back!

Family week at the beach

We stayed at the Sunshine House for 8 nights. As others have mentioned, it’s not a big space, but it was great for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Convenient to the sound and beach, while also convenient to restaurants and activities on the island. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well stocked, leave your beach towels ant home because plenty are provided, and don’t overlook the pool and beach items that Rob provides to his renters! We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic beach stay

It was a beautiful stay. Home was just as stated. We had to cancel last year due to medical reasons and it was exciting to finally get to stay here. Beach is also in walking distance. Great communication with owner. Would recommend.

Best vacation

Our trip to Pensacola Beach was by far our best vacation yet! Robert was amazing from my first email all the way up to our last day. He helped fix a couple problems that came up quickly. We absolutely LOVED this little place. The house is a little small but let's be real who comes to the beach to sit in the house. The owner was very upfront with the house being small. It was perfect for what we needed. It has comfy beds, showers and a full kitchen. The backyard of the property is AMAZING! We had so many fun nights sitting in the backyard playing games taking a late night swim and playing volleyball. The volleyball court is awesome! This location is perfect. It is a quick easy walk to the beach and a short drive to stores & restaurants. The property owner was fantastic with communication as well as offering suggestions on transportations and near by location. We can't thank them enough for providing a great experience for us. We will for sure be back again!

Exactly what we expected

Our family of four enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described with a large backyard and back deck/patio space. We lucked out with the weather in March and the pool heater came in very handy as the kids were able to still enjoy swimming in cooler spring weather. Rob was very attentive and responded quickly to all communications. We also love the fact that he owns the house next door. We will definitely be looking into staying here again with extended family with the two neighboring homes!

EXCELLENT HOUSE and POOL (and owner)

I cannot say enough about this place. It surpassed my expectations. Rob, the owner, was more than gracious when I texted him every day about something or other. The house was set up nicely with the bedrooms down the hall from the living area which was nice for those who wanted to sleep in. The pool was super clean and Rob was nice enough to turn the heater on for us. The washer and dryer worked great. The front porch is covered and is perfect for your morning coffee. The swinging bench by the pool was a nice relaxing spot. PROS: excellent pool, great location/views, clean beds and house, nicely stocked pool floats and accessories, excellent communication from the owner CONS: Burrs in the backyard made it impossible to enjoy (they kept getting stuck in the dog's paws and our shoes), it would've been nice to have the other queen bed in the bigger bedroom - getting around that tiny room was a bit hard but I'm just being picky. Loved this house and would definitely come back!

Jenny and Rob are the owners and hosts of this beach home, which they have enjoyed renovating and using when not rented. Rob grew up on Pensacola Beach, and Jenny and Rob are raising their family in nearby Gulf Breeze. Rob is a retired lawyer that now runs a team of Realtors with Jenny.
