This beautifully designed oceanfront condo is perched in the best part of the building, top floor, with panoramic ocean views all around, perfect for a small family, girls trip, surfer retreat or a mini double date getaway! Wake up to the sound of the ocean and enjoy your coffee on the balcony taking in the outstanding sunrise by the pier! The unit has one bedroom with a king bed, smart TV (Connect your Netflix or Hulu!) and bedside lamps with built-in USB chargers. The living room can host an additional two guests with a very comfortable pull out sofa bed with gel topper. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to enjoy a nice home cooked meal if you choose. Washer/Dryer in unit, and access to the outdoor pool steps away from the building with a privacy fence. Enjoy stepping back in time with our record player and collection of tunes to help you feel the beachy vibe! Use the tide clock to track the best times to hit the beach for a fun shell hunting excursion. A 2 minute walk to the Carolina Beach Pier, rated BEST waterfront dining in 2024 per Wilmington Magazine! A short 3-5 minute drive to the boardwalk where there is a ton of fun, food and shops!

Beautiful view!

We had an amazing stay! We made a quick trip down, 3 night stay, and wished we could have stayed longer. You can hear the waves crashing while laying in bed. It’s so relaxing! Such a cute place with an amazing view!

Wonderful view

Enough can't be said about hearing the waves crash on the beach while falling asleep. We had a wonderful time at this beach condo. It could use a deep clean and a few updates, but overall was a pleasurable experience.

Great view!

The place was perfect for a couple! The view from the deck was magnificent and felt very private. You are a short walk away from a pier and food/bar. The beach is also just a short walk. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you might want. We make pina coladas with the blender and there was plenty of everything else you could cook with.

The view from the condo and the location were great! The only negative was the condition/cleanliness of the stairwell and deck. Both areas need some attention and updating. Inside the condo was clean and very comfortable. Communication with the host was very timely.

Nice Weekend Getaway

We loved the balcony! The condo was super clean and the bed super comfy. The cable in the living room was greatly appreciated. Just be ready for the three flights of stairs. Slight walk to the beach as there is a rock jetty right in front of the condo. We just sat on the balcony which got sun until mid afternoon. It was lovely!

Right on the Water!

Nice little condo in a fantastic location! We loved sitting on the balcony, listening to the crash of the waves, often watching dolphins swim by. Having no beach directly below us was awesome - we felt like it was a private spot; but a couple minutes walk led us to the beach. We took day trips to Wilmington, Brunswick Town, Fort Fisher, North Carolina battleship, Carolina Beach State Park. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location!

This ocean/beach location is perfect! Northern end of Carolina Beach, close to pier. Host are very quick to respond to questions. Nicely decorated, clean, kitchen is very well stocked. Enjoyed our stay.

Great getaway location. Clean, accommodating condo right by the water. Although I did not partake, the bottle of wine and chilled glasses was a delight to see in the fridge. A short but sweet stay! I would go back.

We had a really good and relaxing stay. The amenities were as described. My wife has a bad knee and I wish we had known we were going to be climbing the stairs as much as we were. Other than that, no complaints.

Wonderful getaway!

Really enjoyed our stay! Anthony, owner, was extremely responsive to my questions and even reached out during Tropical Storm Idalia to make sure we were ok. Appreciated the additional convenience items on site so we could pack lighter than normal. Definitely would recommend this property, beautiful view!

Summer Vibes at CB

You will enjoy the view and the beach vibes at Cake by the Ocean. Listening to the waves, watching the sunrise in the morning, and admiring the surfers in the afternoon while we sat on the balcony was so relaxing. It’s only a 3 minute walk to the beach access where the sand is soft and there’s plenty of space to set up your umbrella and chairs. This condo has everything you need and more to enjoy your stay. Anthony and Kirsten are very quick to respond to messages. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great week at Carolina Beach!

We had a wonderful stay at Anthony and Kirsten’s property! The place was the perfect size for us two adults and our toddler. The location was amazing - we had close access to a very nice stretch of beach that wasn’t as crowded as other locations in Carolina Beach. The view from the patio was gorgeous, and we spent mornings out there drinking coffee and evenings reading. We also loved being so close to the pool. The condo was clean and well-supplied. We cooked in the kitchen pretty much every meal, and this was very easy to do, but Anthony and Kirsten also left great local recommendations. Anthony and Kirsten were friendly and responsive, and wonderful hosts! I would definitely recommend staying here!

My husband and I have lived in Wilmington, NC for over 15 years, and we LOVE spending time at Carolina Beach! We are avid travelers who love sharing our knowledge of the best things to do or see wherever we go. Huge foodies - if you need any recommendations based on your cravings just say the word. We love walking the beach and enjoy hosting our slice of heaven so others can enjoy the best Carolina Beach has to offer. Being steps away from one of the biggest hot spots on the island at the CB Pier makes any stay a fun one!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We love being on the North End of the island. The CB Pier has excellent drinks and food, and always has a fun event going down! It stays a bit quieter on this side which we prefer vs. the business of the boardwalk, but it's nice knowing we are a very short drive (or bike/scooter ride!) to all the fun.

If you are one who prefers the quieter side of your stay with the option to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the island mere minutes away, you will love our spot!

Every piece of artwork was hand picked, and we strive to make sure our guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay. Our balcony features polywood chairs with a connecting table to enjoy your book or coffee with convenience.

Being on the top floor in a corner unit, you have the BEST panoramic views of the ocean from the bedroom. Additionally, no one above you means no noise coming down as you relax.
